Loved the ambiance and vibe of the tea time experience! Staffing was short and there was only one waiter/bartender assisting a whole room of customers - but he was extremely friendly and worked twice as hard to make it a good time for us. The food and drinks were extremely creative and delicious. Overall enjoyed our experience at Lilly Rose!
Only have one person run the entire tea room proved to be catastrophically terrible. Even though our server/host/ bartender tried his best to do it all the management really let him and us down. After waiting almost two hours for our food the tea tower came with all sweets and just two tiny Crostini‘s each. There were three of us. Our server was very wonderful and tried his best but the Establishment should really think about opening things before they’re ready. We had to go somewhere to eat after and the price was insane. Our Server/host/bartender made amazing specialty teas and cocktails but I would never recommend.
Just a teeny bit more lighting by the tables would be nice. It was a cute venue but hard to take photos without using a bright flash which is distracting
Such good ambience with cozy lighting, an amazing drinks!!!
Deyvid was a great server
Best spot downtown for drinks and late night food
Looking for something new and different to do in DTLA? The Lily Rose is it! Had High Tea and Highballs after Laker game. What a nice surprise! The hotel looks super cool judging by the lobby. The venue is in the lower floor (basement) giving it a real "hideaway" vibe. The décor is whimsical, hip, and so very fun. All the people working there from the greeter in the lobby to the servers were so nice and helpful. Our server was well informed and we felt well taken care of. We felt like we had escaped to a cool European restaurant while on vacation. The drinks were all incredible, with terrific presentation. The little bites were all good, but honestly could have been fresher. Felt like they had been plated in advance, not in an unhealthy way, just not as fresh. Bread a little dry, scones a tad hard. I believe it was more due to being late on a Sunday (so not so busy) than poor kitchen skills. Highly recommend the Hong Kong Milk tea. Also, the tea infused cocktail, Drink Me!, was great. I love doing High Tea, and am very excited for this new, cooler option in LA. My 20 something daughter loved it all, and can't wait to go back for the "Speakeasy" some night soon.
Love the ambiance 10/10. The cocktails were high quality and the location definitely gave it more of a exclusive, special, feeling to the lounge.
Definitely my new favorite place. I plan on coming back soon.
Had a great evening! Highly recommend! Bring back the entertainment! :)
The best bar..great music and great service great drinks great atmosphere 10 out of 10
Awesome spot both for afternoon tea or the bar love the ambiance and service the staff is super awesome and the food and drinks are superb. 10 stars!!
Drinks were so delicious. The food was great too. Waitress, Ms. Rachel was so attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the ambiance a lot. I can't wait to go back.
The cocktail menu is one of the best I've seen in L.A. Amazing ambience and great music. Really great vibes for a date night
We had the high tea. It was incredible. The manager, Erica is so well versed in the tea education, and the ambience and service was absolutely top-notch! I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for something new and off the beaten path.
Where to begin?!
First, we were warmly greeted by guest services. They kindly directed us to Lily Rose.
There is where the magic began! I felt as though I were in another country. I missed that feeling.
Erica, WOW-what a gem! I must say, as we all know-management is the glue to any successful business. Her knowledge, passion and enthusiasm was just the beginning of the experience.
Manny, walked us through his whimsical journey. How he’s managed to fit that in a glass is pure strategic alchemy. His wizardry was magnificent and truly the cherry on top.
Josh, what a pleasure it was to meet him as well. He took time out of his busy day to chat and exchange great energy. We can’t wait to bring an event there!
The day was magnetically infectious! We left sure of not only a new place to vibe, but share with others too!
We returned Saturday to your rooftop. Boom! As if it couldn’t have got any better, we met Phillip! To think, another top tier experience!
Wayfarer, you’ve got it right! You’ve curated the best in the industry and together, you all are changing hospitality‼️
In a world full of options, we were delighted to have chose you! Very few check all the boxes and cross all T’s.
We’ll be back!
While We understand that this is a new concept in the space , we were very very unimpressed . There is no clear instruction regarding seating or how your order will be taken. The space appears to be low key glam, yet the music and staff presence did not fit the vibe .
Love Roman was great bartender and server.
Love atmosphere and met chef Jen awesome and the bartender was amazing
THE BEST BAR EVER I WILL DEFINITELY BRING ALL MY FRIENDS HERE
We just had drinks, no food because that day we had dinner at the hotels rooftop restaurant and enjoyed the L. A city lights. Came to Lilly Rose after dinner and it was an excellent experience; the ambience is the best, you are transported to another world.
Loved the vibe. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My friends and I went on a Friday night and of course rsvp in the morning before arriving, which is a lot better than playing the waiting game to see if they can squeeze you in upon arrival.
That night they had some 70s 80s rock jams. Appetizers are a little pricey for a small portion. Drinks amazing.
This was my second visit to Lilly Rose. The servers were fast and very welcoming, offering recommendations to my party who had not visited before. The drinks were phenomenal. The atmosphere is awesome and great choice of music. I definitely look forward to many more visits in the future!
Music was to loud but everything else was amazing!!! Highly recommend
Everything was great really. It’s just maybe they could play better music. Like I understand the “ambience” but they could totally match it up to be better.
Loved the ambiance and whiskey cocktails!
