   Service was super slow and not like the experience that was featured on Secret LA- the tea was supposed to be infused with alcohol but was not. When we ordered drinks along with the tea it took forever and I thought they had forgotten about us. Took forever to even get water refills. Automatic “large party gratuity” added to the bill when there were only three of us. Very expensive and pretty disappointing.

   The server that my fiancé and I had last night on 09/23/22 at approximately 9:15pm was the worst. We sat down for about 20 minutes with her working past us and serving everyone else drinks. She never came to take our order, to the point where I had to go to the bar to actually order food/drinks. We were there for approximately 45 minutes and still no service from her. We finally got her attention and she stated she would find a server for us, even though she served the people to the right and left of us and literally everyone else around us…. The waitress was a female with brown hair in a bun. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but she was by far the worst waitress

   Was not the lily rose from a year ago..djs we’re playing terrible sleepy music the vibe did not fit the place..the expression on the lady’s face in that big picture on the wall summed up everything

   Great service from everyone! Really fun environment: lovely arabesque colored lanterns, carousel and merry go round nostalgia. Comfy seats with various table styles. Delicious cocktails. Mood lighting. I loved it and would go again.

   We went on a Thursday and it was perfect. There was only one other group. Kevin our server was friendly and attentive. He made me the best Mexican candy birthday shot. Everything was perfect. Pricey. But perfect.

   Loved the vibe, loved the service, loved the tea itself! I took my niece and her friend here for a grown-up time for her birthday, and she had a blast. That being said, the moment the elevator doors opened, we smelled something that honestly smelled like damp sewage. It wasn't exactly overwhelming, but it was noticeable (my niece's friend commented). It wasn't as bad where we were seated, we got acclimated to it, and everything else was lovely. Our waiter made my niece feel so special with his heartfelt happy birthday, and I would love to return with my grownup friends, dressing up to theme and everything. I would be embarrassed to take them to a smelly place, however.

   First and last time I'll be there. The ambience/theme was nice, but that's about it. Every piece of food was stale. It tasted prepackaged-like it's been sitting in boxes in a pantry for weeks, especially their pastries. Having been to other tea rooms, I fully expect there to be just finger foods, and it's not meant to serve a full course meal. But this place is lacking in both food quality and quantity. Not worth $50/pp - even for the ambience. Service was standard. Was mildly annoying that we had a reservation, so it's not a surprise we'd be there but it still took about minutes to at least get a glass of water. Also, kind of tacky that they automatically add on a 20% tip to the bill. I know restaurants do this for large parties, but we were just a party of two. I always tend to tip way more than 20% regardless of the service, so it's probably good they decided for me what they thought their service was worth.

    Afternoon tea tower was delicious. The assortment was a good mix of sweet and savory. The ambience is cute and definitely made it the perfect spot for an afternoon date with the girlfriends.

    Unfortunately like many of the other posts, the service is problem. Our host/waiter was all by himself to attend to the numerous tables. One person was attending the bar. It took more than an hour for us to get started. There isn’t quite the presentation aspect that is implied from the website, but the space is absolutely charming and inviting. That week an ad ran in social media about this venue and I don’t think they were prepared. I felt really bad for Kevin because he got the brunt of our irritation. Will try it again in hopes for redemption.

    Another great time at Lilly Rose. Went with a larger group than usual and the staff was extremely helpful in putting together tables to accommodate all 8 of us right in front of the band. Having a reservation probably helped in that regard. As always, the eclectic decor and ambience were a hit with everyone in the group. The drinks were tasty, creative and fun, and the band on a Friday was as great as always. The lineup changes frequently, but the quality of the performance was as great as always.

    This place is in the basement of the Wayfarer Hotel on flower downtown. Teahouse by day and 7pm onward a “speakeasy”🙄. It’s a bar people. It’s a thematic bar honoring Maud Stevens Wagner, who was an American circus performer. She was the first known female tattoo artist in the United States. Upon arrival the host said we had the table for 90 minutes. Although we stayed later and it wasn’t packed and we never saw her again. The plastic binders with the food and drink menu are meant to represent a modern tattoo parlor when you flip through a tattoo artist portfolio. The house drink list has ridiculous names, but also classic drinks in the back. Drinks were around 20.00 and we got some tacos too. The food was typical bar food, both overpriced for what it is. The place smells of sugar or cotton candy🤢 It’s quite overpowering. The decor it setup with little clusters of Victorian furniture to create a private cozy vibe. Dimly lit Glass chandeliers overhead, a Zoltar game and a pinball machine, you get the picture. A band started to set up in the corner around 8:30 and played around 9:45. The singer had a great voice, but she was barely heard over the drummer, keyboardist and the guitarist. They all seemed to be trying to play the loudest to be be heard over each other, rather than playing together. Good musicians, but everyone seemed to be fighting to be in the spot like. It was too bad. The crowd was very eclectic. Seems like a tourist spot honestly. It’s trying way to hard and seemed like a Disney themed attraction ride/ bar if that makes sense. Lots of great places in LA, my advice is skip this one.

    The tea here is horrible! Tastes like lukewarm dirty dish water. And I’m a tea lover, so this was just disappointing. The place is cute. But it had a really bad off-putting smell. Really ruined the tea experience. The food was fine and service was good. Sadly, I would not recommend this place for tea.

    My friends and I came here for a Tea Party Birthday Party. The atmosphere was just perfect for the Alice in Wonderland feel. Definitely want to go back again for their Halloween themed tea party!

    When we walked in, it looked super fun. However we left within 30 minutes of being seated. Our server never brought our drinks. Food service was closed. It just didn’t make sense. I think if the service was good we would of been there longer and left happier.

    We were staying at The Wayfarer and just had to check out Lilly Rose. It was my daughter’s 21st Birthday trip. The server was so nice and the atmosphere was VERY COOL! Lilly Rose is a great place to go for anyone that likes a bar with an eclectic mix of furniture, decor, and total uniqueness!!

    Termed high noon tea service on Sunday (opens at 2pm). The ambiance was great and The basement restaurant has very cool decorations and is comfortable. The tea for the service was very good. The food with the tea was lacking. I don’t think I would return for the tea service.

    The hostess was terribly unaccommodating and passive aggressive but without reason. There were several seats available and stated that we couldn’t sit without a reservation. She failed to tell us we could simply just make a resv. We went to the bar for a drink and made a reservation and she still had us stand around and wait for 10 minutes until our reservation time came up despite the table being open the entire time. The drinks were excellent although a tad overpriced. Food resembled fancy bar food and was mediocre at best. Vibe is cool decor is the best part, DJ needs less drake and more diversity.

    Amazing venue. Really a LOUNGE - and a great set up. Clean, vibes were very uplifting, and well dressed crowd. The couches are a little tight when it gets to be after 9:30-10pm, so you’re close to groups of other patrons. The TACOS are FIRE. Thanks to Audra for an amazing dining experience! She was amazing !

    I don’t remember the last time I left a restaurant this happy! It’s pricey, but worth every penny. Such a unique and fun experience. Everything was so tasty and the service was some of the best I’ve ever had. Kevin is seriously amazing! There isn’t parking at the restaurant, but there is a garage next to it that’s very affordable.

    me and my gf went here for tea on a Thursday. It was empty because it was a weird time. Kevin the manager was really nice and personable. We had a lovely time learning about high tea and eating tiny foods. Me and my gf loved loved loved the berries and cream. The tea was delicious (we got the black loose leaf tea). We both loved the little salmon treats and my gf loved the shrimp and prosciutto one. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent, and the tea and food were tasty. Highly recommend we liked it so much we made second reservation for a few days later because we are only visiting la.

    Celebrated my daughters birthday here, which was an AWESOME experience!! We had the ultimate Madhatter Tea Party!😁 The staff were great and we really enjoyed the presentation they gave before selecting our teas and drinks. Definitely plan on going back soon!

    DeltaSoul is always a vibe and makes the ambiance a magical experience! The service was alright, the server tried her best! It seemed like she did not have much help and tried her best to tend to everyone. The male bartender with glasses (Matt I believe) was extremely rude to women. He was very condescending and even cursed at customers. It’s not the first time this has happened and they continue to employ him. Lilly Rose management, you can do so much better and I hope you do.
