I’ve been coming to Lily Rose for almost a year now and Saturday night was my last time EVER coming here! The waitress Audra that was assigned to our table was so disrespectful, argumentative and violent. From the time we sat down until the time we left she was no where to be found. I tried to give my drink order for the table of four but she only took the order for 2 of us and proceeded to walk away very fast. As my mom drank her lemon drop a piece of hair ended up in her mouth. We called Audra over and she was very argumentative about it saying that no one at the bar has this color hair but it’s dark so no one could tell what color it was. And she offered to have the bartender make another one but my mom declined. Once it was time to leave and we wanted the check we waited for at least 40 minutes for her to come. It was ridiculous. But once she did come, there was only 4 of us drinking but she added gratuity to the check. Had all of us been drinking I could have understood or more than 6 of us I could have seen why it was added but whatever. She went back and forth with me about it eventually took it off. But when she brought the updated check back she THREW IT ON THE TABLE. And once she walked away with an attitude I went to the host to complain and wanted to speak to the manager. There’s no reason why should think it’s okay to treat someone like this. The manager never came and we were ready to go so we paid the bill and left. As I walked to the elevator I asked the host what our waitress’ name is and she told me and then Audra heard me ask for her name and came out and yelled at me saying she didn’t throw anything but we all saw her throw it at the table. Even while I we were trying to leave she wanted to go back and forth with me again. I just walked away. And when I went to the lobby I complained again thinking the manager would be there but it was just security and they took my number down but I knew no one would ever call me. I’ll NEVER COME BACK

On Instagram it was made to look ad though the bar would have Halloween inspired drinks available and they did not which was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were informed only beverages were available smd no food. The drink menu was very limited and the drinks we ordered were very hard to sip - it had way too much alcohol. There was no balance at all. Very disappointing experience. Will not return.

This is not classics high tea. The food is inedible and the place is dirty. The staff is nice though, and trying their best.

I was really bummed out by this experience. First off, they are incredibly understaffed. Two people for the entire space is not remotely enough. Their normal tea gives you options and a menu but their Spooky Tea experience does not. We were given the option of two very specific teas that 2/3 of us weren’t interested in and we didn’t know if we could order off menu. Our experience came with drinks and we were verbally offered only two selections, neither any of us liked but we choose a high ball and all 3 of us hated it and couldn’t drink it. When we just wanted to send it back and take the loss, then suddenly there was an elevated mimosa option that he never mentioned originally that all of us would have preferred. We got those no charge and also another round no charge which was very kind. Like I said the servers were not the issue, the fact they were stretched too thin was. We sat and waited almost 20 min at our table before we even got a server because they were too worked. We had to chase them down to give our card to them after waiting almost 20 min to pay. Again, not their fault and we tipped them heavily. They just don’t have enough people. The food we got was also really not good. Mostly all pumpkin. The cookies were literally the pillsbury Halloween sugar cookies. Everything savory was spicy and I can’t eat spicy. Only thing that wasn’t was a bland tiny potato churro which was literally just a single tater tot. I left starving and none of us enjoyed ourselves despite really trying. The setting was so cool we literally gasped when the elevator doors opened but that’s where the fun ended for us. Hire two more servers. Please. And when you charge more for “an experience” make sure people get more options, a menu so your overworked staff doesn’t have to sit there and recite things and that everything you serve isn’t the same thing (pumpkin or spicy). Won’t be returning.

Friday nights here is awesome. The amazing band with the lead singer Mrsthesis, kept the crowd moving all night long. She did every song you can think of, from Maroon 5 to Nicky Minaj to Prince!! They were even dressed as the Scooby Doo gang for Halloween. The drinks are top tier and the service from the bar is stellar. This might just be the new Friday night Vibe. Table reservations definitely recommended was in advance

The service was superb, as well as the ambiance and the Halloween cocktail. However, the teas selections for High Tea weren't particularly interesting nor was the food for High Tea.

What a gem! Our server was an absolute delight - the Halloween tea service itself was fun, delicious, with some original touches. The environment is unique and transports you. Great find.

Overpriced tea and pastries. The price shown online was $260. They tacked on a 50$ tip that was non-negotiable. The servers left the restaurant for 20 mins and patrons left because it took so long. The food was okay, not worth it. Having tea at the four seasons would have probably been around the same price. Expect paying $365 dollars not $260

I made a reservation for Friday with plans for my friends and I to see Delta Soul perform. Given the information on the website, it appeared as if they were still the featured entertainment. They were not. This was disappointing and felt like false advertising as I was told they’d been replaced. And we were not the only ones who were there to see Delta Soul, not knowing that they wouldn’t be there. The website should be updated to reflect this change. The lounge is still a vibe and the drinks are good.

I loved the experience! Great setting and wonderful service. The food isn't stand out, but it is not bad either, just average. Kevin was a great host. I can't wait to return.

We had a fantastic experience at Lilly Rose. Our host was attentive but also gave us space to enjoy the experience together. The food was delicious, the ambiance was decadent. Every attention to detail was considered. I would gladly do this again and have already recommended this to others.

Was very surprised by the atmosphere. I had a wonderful time partying at this small yet accommodating spot. The band played and song the hits and was quite personable. Hosted were attentive and food was satisfying. Drinks were tasty and served with love. Parked in parking structure which cost Me $40. I split it with a friend so it’s like paying the cost to enter a place to party. Lily Rose was free and we just made reservations which were great. We arrived 30 minutes early and were seated promptly. Valet was talking about $20 per hour which was ridiculous. Took elevator up to rooftop and looked around and it was beautiful up there. On the quiet side and was happy we were at the Lily Rose (the PartySide). 😉

We were there for the late night entertainment, and wanted to eat dessert. The band was amazing and our server was adequate. We had really good mock tails because we do not drink. The second round of mocktails, though was not half as good as the first round. When we informed the server she said a different bartender made them. We were disappointed that dessert was not on the menu.

My first visit to Lilly Rose in The Wayfarer was for a lady's Tea Party, The decor was perfect and certainly set the vibe for a Tea Party, we had a blast. On the second visit, I and 17 friends went to enjoy a local band. The hotel is easy to find in DTLA. The elevator vs. stairs to get to the lounge was a bit confusing, upon arrival the ambiance was cute, quaint, and comfy. Our server was awesome, cocktails were creative(good). Our large party enjoyed the food. Will certainly revisit. ✨

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. The servers were very helpful in explaining everything - would have liked for them to offer more hot water, rather than my having to ask. Scones - cold! would have preferred them warm and to have 2 Sandwiches were good except whatever it was that was in the roll. Just ok. I would still bring others there, and recommend the place, because it's charming and perfect for high tea!

We really enjoyed our experience. The service was prompt and attentive, the atmosphere was fun, the music was in the background instead of so loud you couldn't talk to your table mates and the food fantastic. Expensive but a good value.

Will not be back here. The live music was to start at 7:30, which was clearly stated here. At around 8:30 the band came but did not start performing, and the staff said they would start at 9pm. At 9 they did not start and the other member of the staff said they would begin at 10pm. We left cause we were there from 7:30. The staff was indifferent to our concern and dissappointment. Food was average, cocktails were good.

It was our first visit to Lilly Rose and we went because of the good reviews. The tea was okay… the sandwiches were subpar and the service was even lower. They have maybe ten tables and four servers and it was extremely difficult to get anyone to serve us. After waiting a very long time (maybe 35+ minutes seated) someone came by to give us tea options. They brought some sandwiches which were “meh” and I kept asking for one glass of champagne (THREE TIMES) and they didn’t bring it until we were already finished. I had to keep asking for the bill and they never brought it so I finally just gave them my credit card and they charged us $220 for TWO people for tea. The ambiance was beautiful but that’s the only thing going for this place. Save your money and have high tea at home for the $5 bucks it actually costs to make everything.

In 1 word - bad. In 2 words- very bad. The arrived at 9pm, 3 waitresses were there and said that "there is no more service". Ok. We waited for our drinks for 15 minutes (there was 15 ppl at that time). Cocktail didn't taste food and were VERY expensive. Forgot to mention no food or snacks. Just yaki drinks

It is as. Different experience. A club like lounge tea ☕ room. Dance music is played. The room low light/ red lights. Food & tea is good . Service was great. Runs about $80.00- more depending if you get extras like another pot of different tea, glass/ bottle of bubbly, or cocktails. It's located in the basement of the Wayfarer Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, CA. It is decorated cleverly with different accent pieces. Yes, I would recommend & come again.

This was my second visit to Lily Rose and I was tremendously disappointed. The berries and cream were served frozen. The tea sandwiches and cakes tasted like they were day old and on the verge of stale. This was the complete opposite of my first experience there just 2 months prior. The ambiance is fantastic and I would love to recommend and continue to return but I’m not certain I can do that if the quality of the food will be like it was on May 7, 2023. On another note the price on open table and the restaurant website is $60.00 per person but they will charge $65.00 per person on weekends and holidays even though that information is not available anywhere. Also, they charge sales tax after they add the tip amount and I’m not certain that correct.

Lily Rose was a beautiful experience. William was our tea party host and not only was he incredibly kind, he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was one to be remembered. William was very knowledgeable about the tea, so it was really fun to learn all about what we were going to be drinking! The food was really delicious as well. We will tell all of our friends to come try this place and we may even make this an annual thing.

They served an amazing Wonderland-inspired high tea! The opening blended tea cocktail was refreshing. Our server Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and shared good details and stories of the tea. The tiered service was beautiful and delicious. All of the dishware was delightfully mismatched, and the room was full of mismatching charming furniture and artwork. A wonderfully topsy-turvey atmosphere paired with a great tea service.
