Lillie's Union Square
Serving a wide range of domestic and international beers 25 on tap. A great selection of whiskeys and wines, including some excellent wine from the Langtry Winery in California where Lillie herself owned and lived for a time.
The food is traditional Pub Fare. Bottomless Brunch on weekends from 11am to 4pm. It includes Mimosas, Bloody Marys, Aperol Spritz, and Seasonal Bellinis. Our last seating for Bottomless is 3.00pm.
Perfect quite spot with great decor and good value with good food. Had an excellent hamburger .
Amazing dining experience!!
The food we had was good, but they didn't have what I first ordered (Shepherd's Pie) early on a Sunday evening. I really do think that restaurants should have the meals listed on their menus. Prices are reasonable.
Loved the interior and ambience. My food was good too.
False advertising. Their menu on open table as well as their own website shows bottomless brunch but they do not have that option in reality. Disappointed overall and wish they would’ve updated their menu to reflect this.
Absolutely brilliant staff - made our experience even better
Such a pleasure on Valentine’s Day!! Good drinks, good service, fabulous d-jay, birthday celebration and a wonderful floor manager :)
Sunday Brunch with Unlimited Bloody Marys were no longer available, although it’s still listed on their menus, off their websites. We stayed regardless since we were hungry and drove in from New Jersey. We had 5 drinks, the first 2 were spot on, the other 3 were different. I had to ask for additional alcohol since it was mostly tomato juice. No olives the next few rounds and now the garnishments just thrown in the glasses.
Food was okay but Sunday Brunches are special and revered in NYC. This was just MEH. =\
the food isn't great..it's just pub food. the prices aren't bad. it's pretty loud. but the setting and decor is cool. i guess it's better for grabbing a drink than having dinner. i recommend asking the waitress to turn down the music. it really didn't need to be so loud.
I used to love coming to Lillie‘s for it’s fun atmosphere-and the quality Crémant. The latter is off the menue, instead there’s a totally overpriced sour Prosecco or an affordable but still bad American sparkling.
Would always come back for a long drink or a beer after work -but never for brunch. The Benedict was a total diasappointment: overcooked eggs, not-so-fresh salmon, dry salad. You have to do better than that for 16$!The service was friendly and helpful, though.
All service was wonderfully patient and accommodating. Food and drinks were delicious. Atmosphere is romantic and fun.
We went because we wanted to find a different place near Union Square and to see the holiday decorations.
I walked to the back of the restaurant because there was no hostess only to have the waitresses tell me to see the hostess. I went back to the front, where there was still no one at the waitress stand, but eventually a woman came up to me and told me my party was already seated.
The menu is a little limited, even for a pub, but the chicken pot pie was pretty good, as was the burger. The waitress came around quite a bit to check on us but when I asked for water there was a long delay, and after I asked for a take out container she didn't ask if we wanted dessert or the check. So there was more waiting.
They could stand to lower the volume of the music a little because the place is massive and it's hard to have a conversation.
An overall pleasant experience. Great food! Great conversation!
The only disappointment was that there was only one level even though upstairs seating is an option on Open Table reservations. Informed that this was only at the Times Square location. Had a good time, nonetheless.
Had a fabulous time!! The staff and our waitress in particular was so nice. She was attentive and kept our glasses filled for bottomless mimosas and bellinis. Food was so good - brunch and desserts. We ended up hanging out for a couple hours and had a wonderful time.
My friends and I went to Lillie's for my birthday and we had a fantastic time! The food was very good and the value was good as well. I expected to pay much more for what we got especially since it's New York City. It was louder than anticipated but it has a great atmosphere that makes it worth it being a little loud.
our server was very good, on top of everything. The food was just so so. The cheese board is nothing special, and my salmon was not as advertised. Good place to go for a drink, and skip the dinner part.
The price was way too much for the food and drink situation
We made a reservation, here, simply because it was right down the street from B&N.
What a surprise! The restauant was chaming, the staff was friendly... and there was Lunch Special menu! We had hambugers where were wonderful.
We are two 'Ladies who Lunch'.... and we would certinly go back for lunch. It mght be a little too busy for dinner.
I had dinner here recently with some friends and we had a nice evening and a good meal. The food was fine, service was excellent, the noise level was acceptable enough that we could talk without having to scream or strain to hear each other. We will come back again another time.
Love this place the drinks are amazing will definitely go back
Food was great, service was good, decorations were very nice and festive. The noise level was a bit loud, but not too bad.
I loved Lillie’s! It was a gorgeous restaurant, and the food was delicious! I was really looking forward to going, and it exceeded my expectations. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Had a reservation for New Years through Open Table, when we arrived the restaurant didn’t have our reservation. Hostess was nice enough to find us a seat, we would have been out of luck for our dinner! Hoping Open Table fixes whatever glitch this was. Food was ok, drinks were good and service went above and beyond.
Lillies was absolutely fantastic! Authentic 19th century treasures, amazing shepherds pie, and really great cocktails. Our waitress was the sweetest gal, and it was all around a great experience. Try the Harvest Collins cocktail, its delicious!
Said had no tables but thankfully made res on open table and got right in. Our server Jesse was awesome and the jalapeño tequila drink is fantastic.
This place is always decorated to the nines and a staple for NYC regulars and a great place to bring out of towners.
Irish bar food always solid and delicious!
Great festive vibe- friendly staff, old school NYC pub’
Although the restaurant is pretty, there was only one waitress for the entire place and a busboy, we waited over an hour and a half for our food. Food was ok. The waitress tried to be accommodating but we were a party of 10 and she had entire room to take care of, we had iced cold coffee, we had to put on the bar ourselves no one picked them up after we reordered. We had to go up to the bar to see where our sodas were. The waitress gave us complimentary mimosas for the two coffees. I ordered a cheeseburger, the burger itself was good the bun hard as a rock, I never sent it back, I was hungry, and the waitress was by herself. I booked for 10 people, and they had seats for 8 people. I even called ahead of time to confirm the 10 people sit together, the girl Leah approved the 10 together, when we got there we had to rearrange all the tables ourselves so that we would fit. The people next to us were willing to move to give us room and the waitress said no. So we sat hanging off the edge of one of the tables. I don't think I will ever go back. The lilies in Times Square much better experience.
It was a busy night so it took a while to get drinks and food but everyone was very kind and the food was very good. Next time I’d like to go just for drinks and sit at the bar.
Reserved table for 4 at 8:30 was not available (we arrived right on time) and were told it would be a half hour until we could be seated and that we would be texted when it was ready. No space at bar to wait. It was not ready until more than 45 minutes later, by which time we had found another restaurant.
Always have a wonderful meal here. Plus so festive for the holidays!
Service was okay. The food is simple but very good, and of course the decorations and ambience were the key factor that really drew us in. Overall very nice place for a good meal!
The best Christmas i could imagine! I' ve been here with my family, the food was great, the decorations were outstanding and very good service.
Always a pleasure to be at! Ambiance, bar, food, it all works well.
We reserved this restaurant for the Christmas decoration which is very exuberant and we were not disappointed. The service depends on the person who takes care of the table. We had a very kind girl and a man who seemed not to be happy to do this job ... in terms of the quality of the food, don't come for that! It was a week ago and I don't even remember what I ate (unlike other places!) ...
Must go-to place for the holidays, the decor is fantastic and the staff is super kind
So fun such good music and very festive for the holidays!!!!
When I arrived with my best friend and my two children, we were in love. I made the reservation because I saw that the decorations were outstanding. The host was super nice, the ambiance was beautiful. The decorations were amazing & the music was at a good level. It’s so nice in there & the food was good. I can’t complain. My daughter and son loved it. Even my best friend who hates everything liked it in there, lol. I would like to go back with my children or even on a date.
This was not the place for a family dinner. It is a young adult bar which appeared to be great but not for a family dinner.
Had to ask for silverware and napkins after food was delivered. Never refilled water or drinks. Very tight seating. Waitress was nice but not attentive. Very noisy with annoying music. Very beautiful Christmas decorations though and food was reasonably priced and fair. French onion oup was pretty good.
Delightfully over the top holiday decorations and great lunch special. Server was great but had too many tables to cover so it took longer than reasonable to bring water and take our order.
