Award-winning Chef Juan Gomez, who helped República garner best new restaurant nods from Bon Appétit and James Beard, is taking a more personal approach to PNW cuisine. Recently nominated one of the Top 50 Restaurants in the Country by the New York Times, Lilia offers dishes like Pork Collar Confit and fresh Aguachile, leaning on Chef Juan's Mexican-American roots while showcasing hyper-seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

Always an amazing culinary experience. The cherry cola dessert is an annual treat that my friend and I look forward to. The black cap raspberry churro was delicious too! The service is always friendly and attentive. We will be back again and again!

Lilia Comedor continues to be my favorite restaurant in Portland. Chef Juan Gomez is amazing. The creativity and skill it takes to not only create weekly hyper-seasonal menus, but to make them consistently incredible is kind of super human. The service is always great, and I love the new space!

The food was truly exceptional, imaginative (without being weird). They need some front-office help, it's really unclear where they are! (on NW 8th, NOT in Riverplace). Once they get that straightened out, it will be impossible to get a table, so go now. This is modern Mexican food....if you've ever been to a high-end restaurant in, say, Mexico City, you will recognize the genre. The food is stunningly good. Also expensive ($150/person, I picked the expensive entre, it could have been a little less.) Totally worth it. You can see why it's expensive: care and quality ingredients.

5 stars - excellent dishes with such creativity and flavor. We opted for the shared tasting menu which we found to be a great value. Really appreciated the genuinely sincere service. We’ll be back!
