Excellent food and drinks! We were at Bavarian Inn for the weekend celebrating our anniversary and decided iced to give Lilah a try based on the menu. Huge hit! It is definitely in our top five restaurants!

Oh my God where to start! My partner and I came here to celebrate our second anniversary and LILAH’S certainly didn’t disappoint. Miss Connie was so kind to celebrate w us by sending us a bottle which was incredibly thoughtful and delicious!! Get the Rose. Our server/Bartender Darryl was the funnest bartender ever! We had an amaaaaazing time with him. The deviled eggs and the chicken egg rolls were to die for. And our entrees were the Chicken and Waffles and the Eggs Benedict which were insane. You can’t go wrong with LILAH’S.

We typically love the ambiance of Lilah's for our monthly date night and recently invited another couple to dinner with us. Our table was in the "alcove" near the bathroom. I'm not sure how else to describe where the table was but it was definitely not the lovely ambiance we have experienced there before and I was rather embarrassed to have dinner with friends there. I felt as thought we were at a TGIFridays or any other chain restaurant jammed in a corner. I'd suggest not using that area as a table setting. The drinks were definitely off point that night as well. Food was delicious as usual but it definitely was not the great date night experience we're used to there.

The ambience was great, the staff was great and the drinks were good. We were very disappointed in the food though. I had a chicken ceasar and the chicken was so dry and flavorless I didn’t eat it. My wife had the salmon which came out over cooked compared to how she ordered it and the green beans were well done. Most reviews are much more positive on the food so hopefully this was just an off night for the kitchen.

Was there at 6:15 on a Saturday night and it took fully 45 minutes to get our entrees (chicken breast and a burger). The prices are reasonable, the food is fine, but the kitchen is just terribly slow. If you’ve got the time, it is a good value.

We were very disappointed in Lilah. We were looking forward to trying a new restaurant in Shepherdstown. We like to support local establishments. Key complaints. #1. Probably the main problem was that the staff appeared to lack any training. They looked like they had just come from junior high. Wait staff were touching their faces, and then serving meals. We made a request for more water, and then the waiter was wandering around the restaurant, without responding to the request. One staff member did not help a woman trying to exit the restaurant while pushing a baby carriage. Another staff seemed to have no particular job description except stalk around the place looking sullen. #2. It was very noisy. We asked for the music to be turned down - and it was turned down, just a little. #3. The Lilah Club consisted of overcooked chicken and bacon. In fairness, the sweet potato fries were good, and another patron's salmon salad was good.

Meh...My friend and I went to lunch to Lilah's to try something new (for us in this town). Nothing to brag about: mediocre food. Except shrimp, which was excellent.

We actually ate inside in the front window. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but brunch without Capauchino is not really brunch. Something vague about a broken machine. My waffle was very good. My partners avocado toast was merely okay. Regardless it was a pleasant experience.

Lilahs is a wonderful brunch spot! The young musical talent was upbeat and lively. The food was delicious! I fully recommend going with an empty belly and getting sweet-lemon blueberry brioche French toast and savory-southwest bbq pork grit bowl! Both amazing! The deviled eggs with the bacon jam are a favorite appetizer for my family! Everyone working here has always been very friendly. Food can take a little while to come out but it’s busy so expected!

Oh, let’s start with the positive. The wait staff was wonderful. And I really liked the house Cabernet. But then there is the not so positive. There were only two dinner choices available. Granted it was a Tuesday night. I was told the fish was ample, but instead I got two moderately sized pieces and enough french fries for a family of four. That was it. The steak my husband ordered was so tough that it was all he could do to cut it. We were brought a sharper knife, which perhaps helped a tiny bit if I’m being generous. It too was served with only french fries. The owner came over very nicely and offered my husband some thing else, and he chose a hamburger. It was small but very tasty. With tip this meal cost us approximately $70. Fortunately, we had a gift certificate for $50. One more thing, we waited a very long time for our food. Although we loved the wait staff, we will not go back.

We initially went to Lilah for a special event, a mixology/food pairing, but made reservations to stay afterward for dinner. Great staff, great ambiance, and good food. The owner, Connie, was present, available, and engaged in customer satisfaction. Overall, it was a great first impression, and we'll be back.

Noise level at dinner was so loud that we had to yell to talk. If that doesn’t bother you, then you would probably like Lilah’s. Food and service were good. Mango Margarita was tasty but almost no alcohol. We are a retired couple and the deafening noise is a deal breaker. Outdoor seating would be a better option for us if we go again.

Fried green tomatoes were excellent. The Caesar salad was brown lettuce and dry parmesan. Fish and chips was probably the worst we've ever had. We're sorry our experience was not good as we had looked forward to our meal.
