   Worst birthday dinner ever Don’t spend your money here if you are a foodie or if you celebrate a special occasion. The views are nice, and if you go, go for a cocktail and make sure you’re not in a rush….. We arrived on time at 5 pm, we were the first guests there and still had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks because the waiter stood in the bar eating, instead of seeing to the ONLY guests they had in the whole restaurant. We then got our food and drink pretty quickly, and all was good, we thought everyone can make mistakes even if we didn’t expect to see the staff eating instead of paying attention the customers at a restaurant of this type. The prices are expensive and you’d expect more. We got our food pretty quickly, but it was not worth the money at all. Some of the meze was tasty but you could get better and way cheaper. I then got my tenderloin, dry and overcooked, 1750 lira for just meat and two pieces of mushroom, definitely not worth it. When we finished our mains, we asked for the dessert menu, and waited over 15 minutes to received the menu, or no. We actually never got a menu, I myself looked up the menu online and ordered dessert. We almost didn’t order because the service was so bad. Like where we invisible? The restaurant wasn’t even busy at this point. But it was my birthday and I wanted dessert. No candle, no nothing. This is the first time I ever experienced a restaurant not doing anything special for their guests birthday, maybe my expectations was too high for this place. Especially after letting us wait for a long time, not once but twice, you’d think they’d make an extra effort. How are you not giving an already unhappy guest extra attention? To not let them down again? But after dessert I ordered another drink and had to wait 20-25 minutes AGAIN. WTF. Like I thought it was a joke and got so so so sad, definitely ruined my birthday, having to remind them twice for my cocktail and even leave the table to get the staffs attention.

   A must when visiting Kapadokya. Whatever the occasion you celebrate will be extenuating it. 10/10.

   I had such an amazing experience with Lil’a . I’m currently traveling solo and celebrated my birthday here. Every person I encountered was so nice and friendly, my waiter was also great I had mention that I was dining by myself and that it was my birthday. They surprised me with a delicious tiramisu cake while singing “Happy Birthday”. I also came from Aza Hotel another helped me arrange a taxi to take me back.. I loved it. 10’s ALL ACROSS THE BOARD! thank you guys for helping to make my birthday special

   I can’t believe they served me a well-done steak even though I specifically asked for medium rare. To make matters worse, I couldn’t find anyone to address the issue for 20 minutes so I gave up.At this price range, it’s simply unacceptable. I can easily recommend 10+ places that know how to cook meat to the right degree of doneness. Additionally, despite there being five empty tables in the main dining area, they said they might move us when I requested a change but never followed up. Our window-side table was cold and windy, making the experience even less enjoyable. On top of that, no one bothered to say goodbye as we were leaving. For a restaurant of this caliber, I was expecting much more. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. I saw a couple of similar comments and assumed they were just complaints about the high price range. But believe me, it’s not just about the price. The food was extremely standard—in a bad way.Please consider other options.
