Lil' Frankie's

Had the choice of squeezing in a booth with 6 people, or sitting right next to the pasta preparation area. Ending up sitting by the pasta preparation area and waiters were constantly squeezing behind us to grab the orders/there was a loud radio that the chefs were listening to. Also very unsightly to look at. Wish I could have had a better experience because I liked the food but the ambiance was terrible.

What an excellent surprise..!!! Understated and unexpected. The food is excellent, the best pizzas in town.

So disappointing. I was looking forward to eating here but would honestly never return. Our waiter acted as if he was doing us a favor by answering questions about the menu. The food arrived at different times and my husbands pasta meal arrived 20 minutes after the rest of ours. It was pasta , very quick to make. Our waiter never checked back with us and the restaurant is beyond noisy.
I told them it was my daughters birthday and they forgot to bring a dessert. Needless to say due to the very poor service and very underwhelming food I would not return.

The lighting was too dim we could barely read the menu

A frequent visitor of lil Frankie’s I find that my most recent was a disappointing experience. While dining, I was asked to switch tables for a party that has arrived with more people than the reservation was initially made for. The host then informed they’ve been giving her trouble about the wait time. All of which has nothing to do with me and the person accompanying me. I did in fact agree to switch tables for sake for “saving face “ — not being “ that guy “, complicated, giving anyone a hard time.

Fact of the matter I too made a reservation, arrived with the exact party in which it was made for. Upon arriving a table wasn’t ready and I/we patiently waited. I was seated at the table in the middle of eating my meal to be interrupted based upon accommodations of another party, that’s unacceptable.

Terrific. It’s loud but, in some ways, that’s part of the charm. Great atmosphere at a fair price.

I had my birthday dinner here and had a super positive experience

Great dinner for my birthday! Not cheap but not expensive. wine bottles were more expensive than I had seen online before

Was really looking forward to Lil’Frankies...After speaking to the very pleasant host we were seated in a really cool looking room; the whole place was very inviting and look terrific! Once our server arrived, by the way, she didn’t seem too excited to be there. She was barely attentive and barely made eye contact not very friendly. We asked about the shareability of salads and she indicated they were just individual sized, so my friend and I each ordered one. We should’ve known better as they are pretty pricey: $17+ Of course on arrival we realized that we could’ve shared one. The food was fine pretty uninspired but the thing that really prevents us from returning is the service. As previously mentioned the host was very friendly and the busboy was very attentive filling waters but the waitress seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else, which made me want to go elsewhere....

Always fantastic! Food is tremendous. Space is a bit cramped, but worth it!

The service was pretty bad. They claimed they didn’t have our reservation and open table messed up. They then sat us at a bar table where our waiter was the bartender and server (over booked) it took him forever to come by, he was super slow at bringing everything and out food came out at different times.

Lemon pasta isn't the best choice for people who like regular italian. It was too sour for my taste. Other than that, good wine and ambience

We were stuck in crowded area next to the kitchen. Wait staff were encroaching on our space as they were trying to get their orders to serve. Hard to think that having a reservation we would get such a lousy table.

The music was loud and the entire restaurant was loud. Tables were set too close together.

The food was good but ambiance was poor.

Lil Frankie’s was a great dinner for the 5 of our friends getting together. A great way to share a ton of great food and friendship. They were wonderful and the pastas in particular were phenomenal. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend this place. Great price point as well including the wine list.

It’s our favorite restaurant in the city.

The table we sat as was tiny with no room, and the restaurant is incredible noisy and loud.

Terrific. Other than having run out of two of our appetizer selections, it was perfect.

Lil' Frankie's on a Saturday night was extremely loud and busy. Our table for 4 was shoved into a very small area where we could not even pull our chairs out. There was a small passageway (maybe 1 ft wide) between our table and the next table that all the servers would pass through which made it extremely uncomfortable. The service was slow and we weren't seen by a waiter to welcome us or take our drink order for atleast 15 minutes after we sat down. The lemon pasta was tasty but I don't think it was worth it for the price or poor service.

Food was incredibly delicious as always, staff was polite and nice. Always my go to place for good Italian food. Can’t wait to go back again soon

Rushed service, average food, super noisy, very disappointing. Supper was much better.

The food was okay and uninspiring. Hash browns were disappointing because they were very small and you got two with breakfast omelet. The three for one brunch cocktail deal was nice though.

Always really great food, a bit on the tacky side. Always abrasive service. Nice host staff. Tacky bday celebrations. Super loud. Not to miss specials.

Amazing food! The pizza was to die for! Husband had the spaghetti with bolognese sauce, really enjoyed his meal too.
Only downside is the size of the tables, they are absolutely tiny!

Food is excellent as always! House wine by consumption was very good!
