What Insiders Are Saying
Whatever your restaurant need, Lil Frankie’s can probably solve it. This is the ultimate utility player.
Best pizza I ever had! Loved it!
It was a bad night at lil frankies...
‘Twas fun :)
Amazing food and good service! The lemon spaghetti was to die for - so buttery and cheesy with just enough lemon flavor. The pizzas were perfect and the burrata was absolutely heavenly. Wish I could eat a Lil Frankies every night! Highly recommend!!
This is one of my girlfriends’ and my favorite spot for some good old fashioned Italian food. We came here with our friend who loves this place as much as us. We obviously got the pasta limón and the chicken parm. Yes simple plates but amazing flavor. We usually only come here for the burrata but there was none this day we went. Anyway, this place never disappoints.
We were seated in the back in a sort of private space that was perfect for our family get together. The food was so delicious especially the portobello mushroom and eggplant appetizer. Wonderful overall experience. Can’t wait for another family event at Lil Frankie’s!
very cute place and brunch is the best. My only word of CAUTION is watch your step after you open the door as there is a direct step down into the restaurant. I almost fell, the person in back of me almost fell and my friend who arrived 20 minutes after I did actually fell and hurt her knee.
Great meal, good food. Service was... eh. But will go backb
That eggplant and lemon pasta!! HEAVEN!
Service was wonderful-our server was patient with questions about the menu and was accommodating of special requests/dietary restrictions. Always love dining here!
Cute neighborhood spot to hand out. Good beer selection and really nice service. The atmosphere
is authentic and fun. The food was fine but not really what I had hoped. I will go back on a night when it isn't brunch to give it a better chance to prove their cooking skills and menu design.
Had the best birthday dinner here! We were a group of 10 and everyone really enjoyed it! Food is AMAZING. Can’t wait to be back!
Awful food. Omg.
Lil’ Frankie’s has a nice bustling atmosphere. The place is small so you will be close to other tables but not to the point were you would be uncomfortable. The service was great. The staff was nice and attentive. In terms of food, the place was acceptable but not great or inspiring. We ordered brick oven toasted garlic bread for 4.99 a piece. Don’t waste your money. The arugula salad was strange. Full leaves of produce encased by 4 huge slice of parmigiana. I see the intent for a presentation but given the limited tables space, having to deconstruct the salad, chop it up and toss it in the dressing seemed overly busy for a salad. However, the dressing was delicious. The chicken parm was actually well prepared. The cheese used was of good quality. The pasta was average and the sauce was the same. The mezzo rigatoni was also ok. The meatballs were good as was the pasta. We added ricotta for 5.95. To our surprise, they put a huge cold blob of it on top of the warm pasta dish. When we mixed it in, it made a creamy sauce that was no longer warm. The wine was good. We concluded by enjoying a spectacular tiramisu which was the highlight of the night. Overall, for the price point in comparison to the food quality, the dining experience seemed underwhelming. We did see some very nice looking brick oven pizzas. However, it is unlikely that I would be back given the better options near by for Italian food despite the good service and fun ambience.
Delicious shared plates
Food was amazing , still dreaming about it
Just brought my own parents for dinner because this place is my favorite, and they loved it. Food was great, even if it was a little loud.
Divine...must get the roasted eggplant! And any of the daily specials
We went to Lil Frankie’s for a book club meeting on a Wednesday. I made a reservation but a different number of people were joining and the host was very accommodating. It was surprisingly packed for a Wednesday night so we had a tight squeeze at a table in the side room. Service was slow but the food was great! Definitely recommend any of their pizzas and the lemony spaghetti. We’ll be back!
I would eat every meal here if I could!
Overall a great experience however not giving 5 stars because of how long we had to wait for our table despite a reservation. Our reservations was at 2pm and we arrived by 150 to ensure the group was there like the website stated they only hold the table for 15mins because the whole group needs to be there to be seated. The hostess was very attentive and kept us updated but we didn’t sit down until almost 3pm at which point we were pretty hungry. Food was amazing though which made up for it and great value for a large group. Hoping not to wait that long next time.
Great menu: Perfect for foodies, vegetarians, or hearty eaters. The pasta Limone is awesome. Pizzas are wonderful. Salads very fresh. Terrific wine list. Can’t go wrong.

Lil Frankie’s has some nice Italian options. I would recommend their homemade pasta.
Food was so delicious! Wait time even with all in the party present was about 15 minutes behind, I suppose the same grace period applies to the restaurant for guest! They hold the table for only 15 min for the total number of guests to arrive for reservation.
It’s a cute little place with solid food. Great wine list at reasonable price and our server David was excellent!!
Nutella desert was off the hook totally not what you would expect to taste. Lemon pasta is delicious just about every dish was tasty!
I recommend this place highly. Cash only!
Local old fashioned Italian restaurant with great authentic delicious food. An everyday awesome dining experience
Rustic decor. Like grandma kitchen
Never disappoints. Amazing food, fun Italian atmosphere. If you can’t get into Lil Frankie’s try Frank on 2nd ave. Obsessed with both.
Those lemon butter noodles.. are a MUST. I'm still dreaming about them.
This place is amazing. We were a group of 3 and visiting here. The servers were so nice and friendly. We were a bit worried because we heard the place is really popular for local people. Limone pasta is the best pasta that we’ve ever tasted. We will not forget that forever
came back and enjoyed the lemon pasta again, tried a couple of pizzas for the first time, both excellent, save room for the nutella dessert; always a fun place to come to, especially with a large group
Very quaint and small. Tight spaces but excellent food.
Food was average, waitress was rude and aloof, and the ceiling was dripping water on our table into our drinks. We will not return.
Highly highly recommend. We had a great meal!
The waiter we had was extremely rude.
Pasta was disappointing. Kitchen timing erratic. Pizza looked great. Stick to basics.
Amazing authentic Italian!
Cozy and intimate. Great food and reasonable prices.
Great meal with some friends. Nothing to complain about at all! Must visit this lovely restaurant
our waiter was rushed, rude and forgot half the order . the coffee was cold and he couldn't have cared.
we were looking forward to this brunch as it was a special birthday
will not return
I came here with a party of 12 to celebrate an engagement and friends being in town and Lil Frankie's did not disappoint!
