Formerly branded as Tapas On The Bay, Lil' Chef takes the 'little dishes from around the world' that Tapas was known for, and adds prime seafood, along with a well-selected lineup of fine wines, sangrias and other pitcher drinks.
Located on the waterfront, behind Big Chef Steakhouse, the funky, Spanish-styled setting is perfect for lunch, dinner or enjoying the breeze anytime. We're right next to a well-lit, secure dinghy dock, and offer free wi-fi for working or checking in with folks at home.
lol chef took our booking but when we arrived we were told it wasn’t open and had to eat at the big chef, had to wait an hour for our mains
Lovely small tapas restaurant with excellent food, service, and open air setting on the bay. Friday night music with Rob Zi and Phyness (sax and vocals) is an experience not to be missed. Perfect evening!
Delicate cuisine with full flavours from the island and the sea, a delightful relaxed setting which includes the feel of being near the sea in the marina, and the chance to try a number of shared dishes because of the Tapas style. We return every time we visit the island, about twice a year, and love it.

I highly recommend dinner here. The atmosphere is beautiful, as you gaze into the waters while hearing live music. The food was also divine. My partner and I shared 5 tapas and were impressed with the creativity, presentation, and most importantly, the taste. The bruschetta and salmon lollipops were simply divine. It's also adult friendly, so it has a more relaxed and/or romantic vibe.
Live music Friday night!!! Amazing atmosphere and environment. Food presentation is outstanding and spare ribs fall right off the bone. Great mixture of cuisines Asian and Spanish flare. summer pre-fixed menu is an outstanding deal!!! Can barely eat dessert after your entree. This tapas place will be an upcoming restaurant!!!
Made a reservation on open table and paid $28 for a taxi to get there. When we arrived we were told they were closed for a special event and had to look for somewhere else to eat while it was pouring rain. Not sure if the food is good or not but the service sucked and I would stay away!
Well over all it was a fantastic experience the food was great, prices are not exorbitant and portion sizes were reasonable! However I did fine that the live entertainment was a nice touch however it was too loud and at many time could not hear the conversation that was going on at my own table. Also I selected the Birthday option with my reservation but nothing was done during my time there.
We had dinner with our five adult children and it was amazing! We just kept ordering tapas, including a couple of the platters. The waiter brought the tapas out a couple at a time and we just kept sampling. The flavors were varied and wonderful! What an enjoyable evening.

The food was good,portions small. The server was excellent and was well informed on the menu. Unfortunately there was a hostess that was a total detriment to the business. She was rude and unwelcoming.
It was our third time visiting and we were very disappointed. We asked if they had a particular alcohol, the server said he would ask, and never returned. We asked a manager to help with our drink order, when it was served it was wrong, she returned with a new drink and was annoyed with us.
The food was good, but the 50 minute wait for drinks ruined the entire experience
Restaurant is ok but when boss is nit atound the kitchen cannot deliver. Waited more than 1 hour just to get the bread. Had to walk out as servive was NOT exiting. Go for the steak house next door
Great Tapas. Baby Gem Salad, Lamb Tacos, Oyster Tagliatelle,Thai Noodles were all Excellent! Chocolate cake & Salted Caramel Gelato topped off an Outstanding Dinner!

Tapas on the Bay had recently re-opened when we visited. Front line table with view of the harbour as requested. Variation on the Tapas which we are used to in UK/Europe, but excellent food , menu options and service. It is advisable to reserve bay view table in the busy season. Would visit again and can recommend.
