My Sunday Brunch Experience at the LightKeepers was
Fabulous. The variety of food station was impressive as
as well as the unlimited mimosa, champagne & Bloody Marys.
The service was outstanding all the severs were very attentive to our needs. The Ambience is Amazing overseeing the water.
I was in paradise.🎉🥂🍽👨🏻🍳🍾
Very recommended place - Andrea’s service was absolutely incredible !
Amazing!!!!
Had a great dinner, the octopus appetizer was fantastic along with the scallops.
Great bar with friendly well informed staff. The outdoor terrace is a must! Amazing food and great servers! Can’t wait to revisit!!
The food was fabulous. You won't have to do much thinking over your lunch/dining options as the waiters make fantastic recommendations. Do get bottle service! They have a diverse selection of wines that would fulfill even the most seasoned wine connoisseur's tastes. Yosbanni was our server and the next time we have lunch there, we will be going for weekend brunch and will definitely ask for him. If any part of the meal is not up to standard, the wait staff will promptly ensure that you are satisfied with what you ordered. If you love salads, be sure to order their "Mas Verde!" and/or "Beets + Burata" salads as both options will exceed your expectations. The aesthetic preparation of the salads will definitely beckon those fond of their phones and digital photo collection to snap a permanent memory of their delightful dish before they consume & digest it all to oblivion. If an oceanfront, fresh seafood dining experience is your forte, also be sure to order the "Fish + Chips" -- it is a breaded Key West snapper with lemon malt vinegar dip and "chip-style" french fries that come in a chic metallic container. The "Lobster Mac + Cheese" will also leave your taste buds astonished with a saucy blend of macaroni & cheese well mixed with lobster pieces for a placid plethora of tasty sensations that will surely have you returning for more! Any of their Napa (California) wines are firmly priced by the bottle and you certainly get value for the smooth taste that comes along with them that will leave your attendees happy, healthy, and impressed with an unforgettable lunch/dinner experience. I will upload the lunch/liquor (truncated -- restaurant liquor menu is much more robust) menu as a picture for reference.
Food was very good. Service was absolutely horrible Daniel our waiter was slow and was not attentive at all. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. He never entered the appetizer. Then took 20 minutes to come back again for our order. Never once was water refilled. They sat us at a table for two by the back door even though plenty of other open tables. Not a very good Ritz-Carlton experience. I guess since Ritz decided to automatically add 18% gratuity the servers don’t care.
Great place with an amazing ambiance and view of the beach and pool at the Ritz-Carlton. This place is not pretentious and the service is amazing. Don't miss their wine!
Great place to relax have brunch with friends and family and enjoy bottomless champagne, mimosas, beer or sangria. The food was excellent. Very nice ambiance and music.
My wife and I decided to stay at Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne for our anniversary. While there, we made reservations at Light Keepers, which is on site. We were delighted to have Daniel as our server. We were inside but he insisted we sit outside by the ocean for this special celebration. His hospitality, demeanor, and customer service is absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the entire experience was incredible. The staff went out of their way to make this meal special. I am so glad we decided to come here. Daniel is hands down the best server we've had. EVER!! He went above and beyond to surprise us with a glass of wine and a dessert that we weren't expecting. Thank you to everyone at Light Keepers. If you're reading this review then book the reservation on Open Table and request Daniel as your server.
Fantastic service, great view. This is exactly what you would expect from the Ritz Carlton. We had a drink in the Rhum Bar beforehand and our bartender was exceptional and knowledgeable. We then moved to the patio (eat outside, the view is what you are there for). Service was timely, the food was excellent.
Very very good
Everything was excelent. The highlight is service by Lamas. Amazing guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raul was a pleasant addition. He was very attentive, accomodating and knowledgeable. We definately will return.
Made reservations on-line and Google maps showed us the way to address. Upon arrival, could not find parking only to discover the restraunt was located inside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel $$. Valet parking added $25 + tips to the evening out. Food was good and we experienced a 5-star experience by accident. Service was outstanding. We were dressed a little more casual than most but our waiter made us feel very comfortable. Probably would not visit intentionally due to expense but a memory was made for my wife and I.
Excessively loud, heavy beat, music. Far from fine dining. Food was okay-this was the most expensive meal we have consumed so far in Miami. Cocktails were expensive, and did not fill the volume of the glass. My motto, fill the glass to the rim, or buy smaller glasses. Don’t give me a “half full” martini glass! Two filets of beef ordered medium rare came differently prepared-one very rare and one medium well. How hard can it be? Upon examining the check, I discovered they had neglected to charge us for the bottle of wine we had consumed. No gesture of thanks was offered. C’mon man!!
Everything was excellent, the service, the food and the ambiance. the bill was serious.
We were not intending to eat at the hotel....... but we were hungry and didn't have a reservation in Miami so we decided to give it a shot. It was BY FAR the best meal we had on our trip to Florida. The food was incredible, the wait staff (Hector) was delightful and the chef came by our table for a chat. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the Ritz AND to anyone on the Island.
Small portions. My husband enjoyed the salmon. My bass special was dry and bland. Desserts were a miss.
It’s pretty good and service is excellent but I feel like the food used to better when it was under prior ownership and it had even more options. It’s still good though and service is excellent
We came to Lightkeepers for our one year anniversary and we were blown away by our service from the moment we arrived. The food was spectacular and Placido was a one of a kind server. Highly recommend him and the restaurant!
Our food was just okay. We expected better for a Ritz. Also, the waitress, although pleasant to talk to, was not very knowledgeable about the menu.
The quality of the food and the first class service definitely. At the Key Biscayne Ritz Carlton. Quality.
Awesome experience. Just go ahead and enjoy the entire experience. We did.
Our server Hector was amazing... he will be the reason we return!!!! Great food and ambiance we will return
Very dissapointing food -food was burnt and overcooked. Both fish dish. Carrots were undercooked. Won't go back
Tremendous meal on our last day of vacation in Miami. Thanks to EJ for his great service and patience with our young boys.
Great food and great scenery!! Very good seafood, beat expectations!
The food was excellent. The service was good. The decor and ambiance were terrible. After so much anticipation to see the result of the renovation, we were greatly disappointed. The place looks like a cafeteria. Nothing of what you would expect at the Ritz.
Had a lovely anniversary dinner. Delicious food (pork chop and filet mignon). My husband loved his octopus and I loved the ceviche. Excellent, warm service. Light and airy decor
Lightkeepers is the new restaurant at the Ritz on Key Biscayne that was in the former location of their Italian restaurant. I am sorry the Italian restaurant was replaced. The menu may be a five star menu from a world renounced chef but for this "average joe" none of the entree's made my "toes tingle". The service and ambience was outstanding but you cannot eat service and ambience. You are also paying understandably above average prices for a restaurant at a 5 star hotel like the Ritz. I am not saying to avoid but just check out the menu online prior to going. It may save you time and dollars. But if you like what is on the menu... then you will be in for a treat.
Excellent. Usually don't expect this much from a hotel restaurant. Mussels we're the best we have ever had. Branzino also delicious as was the chicken dish. Service was equally as great. The chef came out to ask us how our dinner was and actually engaged in conversation. You don't see that a lot unfortunately. Staff genuinely took time to get to know us. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return!
I orderI churrasco and I sent it back because it was under cook to find out when it came back that it was very hard and the quality of the meat was not good. Not going back to the restaurant
Mothers day
Considering they opened 3 months ago, the food was truly spectacular and our waiter was very attentive and happy. It was Mother's Day weekend at the ritz therefore it was packed; however the ambience was divine and our meals were fresh and savory.
KeyLime cheesecake was amazing, Biscuits were also great. Outdoor dining much more romantic than inside.
