We always enjoy this restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and the service is great... I recommend making reservations.
Tyhe food was so-so but the ambiance, on the water was really nice. Happy hour drinks were a very good value, sunset, without peer.
Always good food and service. Coastal Jamz was playing. Really good music!
Couldn’t locate a table for us even though they had reservations. Put us directly in back of band table. Didn’t have main entree that we came for. Left without ordering. Would not go back. Waitress couldn’t have cared if we stayed or left
Loved the atmosphere, the ambiance and the service was great. Drinks were delicious. Food was awful. Had Fish and Chips. Both were deep fried in old grease and tasted like it. So greasy you could squeeze in into a napkin. Would go back for an afternoon of drinks and friendly conversation, not to dine.
Portions seem to be getting smaller, i.e. 5 shrimp instead of 6, less meat on the sandwiches than in the past. Need to change up the menu.
This is our second time eating there. It is about an hour drive from where we live in Parrish. The first time we ordered several appetizers for lunch and it was fabulous. The ambiance doesn’t get any better.
On our second visit my wife ordered the grouper sandwich. Unfortunately, it was dried out and the bun was stale. I had the Taco Trio which was just okay. They were out of brisket, so pulled pork was the substitute. That had a bit of gristle, so I just ate the seafood and chicken taco. We waited about 50 minutes for our food which seemed a little long. Service was delightful despite the other shortcomings.
America maid band played awesome service was exceptional food good
Always bring my friends and family to the lighthouse grill for a good time and food.
Josh was our waiter and he was wonderful. Excellent band as well!
We had a perfect experience. Water view, breezes, good food, good service, entire staff accommodating.
Food was good. Band was great. A little pricey though.
I ordered salmon and broccoli with no butter. The broccoli was drenched in butter, and salmon had light butter.
We had a great server and the four of us enjoyed our meal. Only problem that bad that was playing, music was great but way too loud and we could not hear each other. It was a birthday dinner for one in the party and so we ate and left. Music was just way too loud for dining enjoyment. Our server had trouble hearing us when we ordered and we couldnt hear her
The mussels were the size of your fingernail. We had the little things before and thought it was just that they got a bad shipment delivered. But when we got the little things again, we agreed that we would not go back. Additional the flatbread was soggy. NO THANKS!!!
Went for lunch early. Beginning to get crowded when we left. Of four different menu orders two were Great and two were just ok.
A beautiful setting on Lemon Bay waterfront. Large, attractive open air tiki hut style building with plenty of ventilation and spacing for covid safety. Beautiful tropical landscaping and plenty of outdoor nooks for chairs and fire pits. Food and service is very good. Everyone is friendly and wearing masks. Their house salad with tangerine sesame ginger dressing is to die for. I did get a taco trio, and they were all three very good, but one was supposed to be shrimp and instead two were chicken. Pass on the hush puppies. Do not know how you could make them any worse. Hard, dense, and over cooked. We just found this place a couple months ago and have been there 4 times already.
We’re out in the car and looked on line for a restaurant with a view of the ocean and Light House popped up, we made a reservation on line while we were driving there. Sat outside with a view of the ocean.
Great food and live music on weekends. The services was great. Venue was a little questionable when we pulled up but we were overwhelmed with the place once we got to our seats. Right on the water...cheeseburger in paradise vibe!
The ambiance cant be beat. The food is just ok. The band was phenomenal but don't come during the.music if you want to have a conversation with your friends. Fun to watch the older people dancing to the beat though.
I was entertaining a family with 3 teenagers - the ideal place
Wonderful waitress and food better than expected. Brought home 1-2 my sandwich and the chocolate cake was to sit for.
This is always one of our go to places and sometimes it is hit or miss but tonight’s food was delicious. My daughter has a scallops and I hit the crabcakes and we were able to share. The peel and eat shrimp is always fabulous as well! Can’t wait to go back
Let's Eat, Englewood was great at Lighthouse Grill!
Lovely view; excellent wait staff; felt very safe in the open air dining.
We love eating outside! The sunsets are beautiful and looking out at the water while you dine is very relaxing! I had the grilled scallops they were delicious! My husband had the grilled Grouper and he said it was very good!
The food was mediocre at best. I had the Grouper dinner and the portions were very small. The "vegetables of the day " were very mushy due to excessive cooking oil. The view and the service is outstanding . Live band on Thursday nights .
Always enjoy dining here. Good food and service along with great view of the water.
I am scheduled to conduct a wedding ceremony at this location so I wanted to "check it out" prior to the ceremony. Food was great and the location is picturesque. I will definitely pass this information on to couples who are seeking a "unique" ceremony location for their wedding or renewal of vows. Avis Shiveler Brangan, Simple Seaside Ceremonies, Venice, FL.
Great place to go, especially these days when open air feels safer than a closed restaurant. (wait staff all wear masks, and most patrons as well, upon entering and exiting) Beautiful views of the water, nice to be able to make reservations on line. Getting the food out sometimes takes a little longer than I would like, but everything is tasty and everyone is friendly and helpful.
Great spot. Fantastic views and attentive staff. Food was delicious.
Went for Englewood Eats!! Fantastic food and service!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the view, the breeze and the French Dip sandwich with squash medley. I'll be back!
Great service, drinks and dinner.
Always good and Tropical Ave playing is a BONUS.
The views are spectacular!! Would highly recommend this place!
I would not order the fried green tomatoes again. Too thick/not cooked/tough. However, the Cuban sandwich was good. Others at the table loved the scallops. Great band Slick Willy Revival had everyone rockin' - dancin' - and enjoying all the grub & grog available. View is priceless...come on, it's on the water and I thank Mother Nature for that wonderful, full time breeze that kept those twin-engine skeeters at bay. I'd go back again!
At first we were given a table by a stack of firewood, plexiglass stands, bar and kitchen. The only other table was in the sun. We took that table. There was an umbrella that blocked part of the sun. It would be nice in the area that is not under the cover to have fans circulating for your guests.
It was nice to have a band playing...enjoyed the music.
Try the Grouper Reuben or smoked buffalo wings. Nice waterfront open air setting
The service was excellent and the fish and chips is the best!
