we always have an amazing experience here. The sushi is fabulous
Absolutely my favourite place to eat and or have a cocktail. The environment is lovely with great views. The food is fresh and tasty. The service is always friendly yet professional.
This is the go-to spot for my husband and I to celebrate our birthdays! We love the beautiful view, the friendly service, and the happy hour menu. We will definitely be coming back!
The service was fantastic and brunch we had was delicious. You also cannot beat the view! Well worth dining here.
Great service. Thanks Shelley. We were there for almost 3 hours. Corner table
My favourite Vancouver restaurant! Great views of the water.
Kudos to the whole staff - from being received and seated at the front door, to Jeff’s service! Also, Jeff made killer Negronis ... I’d come back just for those! And seafood dishes were 👌🏼
Great spot for brunch. We were seated by the window overlooking the marina and even on this rainy day the view was superb.
OUR SERVER WAS LOVELY EVEN THOUGH THE HOSTESS LOST OUR RESERVATION AND TOLD US WE WERE ALREADY SEATED!!!!! Luckily she found us a table!
Location, view, fireplace, amazing deck,
Great brunch.
It was a bit crowded nowadays, but overall I enjoy the friendly services and the environment - I spent all my important anniversaries there!
I found the service to be fair...our Server was pleasant but nothing outstanding to report The portions were large, but the food was not hot. I enjoyed the ambience the most. Not sure if I would return, perhaps, only in the summer, as can enjoy the view.
Everything was wonderful as always. Consistently fantastic food and service.
Love it every time we come.
We celebrated my birthday and were fortunate enough to be seated in a window seat directly above the water ! Great view, great food and great service !
We made the reservation during Dine Out, so things felt a wee bit more frenetic than usual. For us, LIFT has really come a long way since we went in late 2018 and 2019, when we went a few times and then took it off rotation. The food is fantastic, the service is nicely attentive. They are also good with the protocols, which continues to be important. And, there is the view! Which feels great and looks great. We will dine there again within the month!
Very nice atmosphere. The restaurant was at capacity though seemed quiet. Service was perfect. Server was fun, prompt, and professional. The food was hot and presented perfectly. Dishes were tasty. Though my date was a bit unsatisfied wit the muscles and clams. She said she had better at her mother in laws house!
Great service and food, coming back tonight.
I do not recommend it. Poor service, no effort with preparing food. We had beef ribs - whole bone and a lot of collagen/fat, no meat with overcooked veggies. The only good was a desert and wine.
Always a absolute pleasure. Fantastic service, food cooked to perfection, great drink selection.
A very pleasant waterfront venue. Good food, friendly efficient service and well priced. We were there for Sunday brunch. Menu a bit limited but, like so many places right now, may be Covid related. Just glad to see them open and surviving. Will definitely go back
Food was not good. Ordered the clams could not finish. Definitely not fresh or overcooked.
Service was rushed we got there at 8:40 as soon as we good there they rushed us. For example they brought appetizers and mains out at same time.
The restaurant was very nice. As expected, as we had been there before. I don't know why some restaurants try to seat you at a terrible table. We don't put up with that. Once we got a preferred table we were fine. The bartender mixed a very good cocktail. The food was very good once it was replaced with hot food (both dishes - just one of those things). The appetizer was excellent.
What really made the night was the server. She was fantastic and worth a 20% tip which is my top, top, top.
One of the best customer services.
Free parking provided.
Dinner was good but I made a reservation the week before and when we fit there they sat us upstairs on the patio it was okay but we went for the view and ambiance and you don’t get that looking through plastic Next time we would ensure we were on main floor.
Great spot for happy hour . Attentive service and value for money . I live nearby and prefer this lovely restaurant to Caradero’s .
The food was great (the duck is fantastic). The service is terrific. The dining room is very nice, and the location is great. The only thing preventing it from being perfect was that it was a bit noisy--I had difficulty hearing my companion over other people's conversations. I would definitely go again though, and recommend to others.
excellent food and presentation. Extensive wine list. Very good service. excellent atmosphere.
Good food and great service with amazing water and mountain views.
Good place and atmosphere. Food was good but a little over priced. Drinks were definitely over priced. Overall it was an awsome place for our anniversary. I would recommend to other people.
The service was average, nothing spectacular even though there we’re only 4 tables in the restaurant. We had the dine out menu, the pork lettuce wrap lacked flavour. All the food came out way too quickly. We would just finish the last bite of our previous meal when the next meal would already be served. It’s a treat for us to go out, so we would’ve loved to have been dined properly than feel rushed. The turtle palate cleanser was a cute touch. However, Effe the bartender was lovely.
Very on experience on Saturday night, our server was excellent and able to make very good menu and wine recommendations for us
We had a great evening. The restaurant was very conscious of safe distance and had table dividers. The food and service were excellent.
Great location and view for a Saturday out with family
My husband and I chose Lift for our Valentine's dinner. Good menu selection - I chose the crab appetizer and lamb and ravioli; my husband the turbot stew, which was flavourful. Our server was attentive enough although we kept our own wine glasses filled. The negative? We were placed by a window; unfortunately we were also close to the bar and kitchen. So, every 5-10 minutes, we could hear the shaking of martini's being made, we could hear the chatter in the kitchen and most aggravating a server putting away the just cleaned cutlery in the tray, the sound reverberating through our section. Will we go back for a casual dinner? yes probably. For Valentine's never again.
The dinner was steak and pasta combo with lobster tail was good and tender I will be back sometime soon also the staff was very polite and helpful good work guys keep it up👍
The food and service were great as usual but we were given a table upstairs. I realize it was Valentine’s Day and they were using the whole restaurant but it was really cold up there. There were only three heaters and we ended up wearing our jackets and shivering for most of the meal. The food also got cold very fast. I wouldn’t go back in the winter if I couldn’t get a table in the restaurant’s main floor. A little disappointed for a special occasion 😐
Valentines Day- perfect place to go! Certainly will do again!
Options are limited and expensive. Most dishes are bland and lack seasoning
We had a couple of different servers and had to request everything: I had to continually ask for a refill on our drinks (water included) and nobody took our empty plates away (exasperated, I stacked them at the edge of the table HOPING someone would notice but it wasn't until I flagged them down for a water refill that they grabbed the plates).
Normally a server would have asked us how the food was, but they only came to the table to take our order and drop off the food. It was happy hour, to be fair, BUT there were a number of servers at the bar and milling around. I was disappointed in the service we received, as it is normally quite outstanding.
