   My family lives next door to the restaurant and we have been going there for years. We adored it! Sadly to say, in the past year or so the quality of the food is steadily getting worse and worse. Not sure what the problem is but it became unpalatable and at times simply poorly prepared, such just burned, overcooked to the point that I couldn’t cut my schnitzel with the knife and reserved to eating it with my bare hands. The service is and has been fantastic. They took the schnitzel off the bill; no complaints there. But with this tendency, unless something changes, such as getting a new chef, we will not be returning to Lido for a while. Our multiple friends expressed the same sentiment.

   Exceptional service. Underwhelming food. Nothing about the meal itself was worth the price.

   Music was too loud, with heavy beat. Sounded like a nightclub instead of the classy restaurant it really is.

   I had high hopes for Lido Restaurant, especially after making a reservation and leaving a note requesting a nice spot or a table with a view for a special occasion with my partner. Unfortunately, it seems that note was completely ignored. When we arrived, we were given what was probably the worst table in the entire place — no view, no ambiance, and definitely not what we expected for our special day. It was clear that the staff either didn’t check the reservation notes or simply didn’t care. It’s very disappointing when a restaurant doesn’t take customer requests seriously, especially when you’re trying to create a memorable experience. Thank you, Lido Restaurant, for turning what was supposed to be a special evening into something quite the opposite.

   The cocktails and non alcoholic cocktails so good. The food was amazing as always. We had the mushroom soup and raw tuna with fennel and both were outstanding. I shared the Dover Sole with my mother in law and it was delicious. We saved enough room for the pistachio profiteroles and they were light and so tasty. The alcohol free daiquiri I had was amazing. Thank you to the whole team
