Lido Bottle Works
American cuisine . Sophisticated, yet casual and approachable, LBW is
an unexpected surprise with an ambiance only those who have visited can describe.
Our experience was amazing! Enjoyed trying different plates and being able to share with our party of 4. Great view. Staff is amazing and welcoming. Never felt rushed even though we were the last guests there at 11 pm. Thank you Lido Bottle Works!!!
This is one of our favorite places in Newport Beach. So good!!
It was wonderful! I love the Bolognese sauce they use! It’s delicious!
Mean was fantastic and we had an awesome server..I believe his name was J.T or T.J. ..it was an initial... he recommended a splendid orange beer which was perfect. Outstanding luncheon
This place was great! Awesome location, delicious brunch menu. Good drink list—but only beer and wine, no hard liquor. The cold salmon avocado toast was amazing!
Great environment and the staff are amazing and accommodating!
Food comes out really fast but most of it was cold.
We love this place! Creative menu, on the bay with a great view, open to the outside (some patio seating), friendly locals, fish bought that morning from the local Dory fleet...there's nothing not to like.
Super nice staff, great ambiance! Food varied. It was a birthday dinner and 5 of us dining. We ordered several plates to share. This is the consensus: short rib balls some loved, 2 said just ok. Cebiche (aka ceviche): VERY bland and boring. Steak frites: amazing! Burata dish: had a lot going on, but delicious! Can’t remember the other dish. Wines were excellent. We were unpleasantly surprised that they didn’t bring a little sweet bite for the birthday girl at the end. So....We went to Lido House’s Captain’s table for wine and dessert:)
Had a great brunch with friends this weekend. We sat on the patio with a view of the harbor. Our waitress London was super attentive and gave great recommendations for food and beers! The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meals.
We were there with friends, and sat outside. I'm glad because it was so noisy inside that we wouldn't have been able to have a conversation. Food and drinks were delicious, and service was excellent.
We had a reservation for 8pm but they had no tables available, waited 40 min.
Fabulous food and service. We had wanted to sit inside but there was a live musician which we were excited about but apparently he couldn’t turn down his speaker. The noise level was bad as it’s a small restaurant inside. So we sat outside and noise level was better there. Our server, London, was great, very professional and accommodating. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Great dinner for anniversary. Service was awesome!
Our restaurant crush! Go tapas style fo get the full effect.
Great location, great service and a great food! Everything we ordered and were recommended was amazing!
First time here. We grazed on appetizers which were are great, and shared beers. Service was spot-on. Only suggestion would be a full bar. We will be back.
Ordered meatball small plate - they arrived room temperature not heated. For an entrée we had the Dory catch - very good - and the Steak Frites which was ordered medium rare and was served medium well. Their solution was to delete the cost of the meatballs and the corkage fee for the bottle of wine we brought.
Cute and cozy lil spot. Foods great and the locations perfect for a nice walk along the waterfront. I recommend for a date.
Nice little place along the water in Lido. Good place to share plates; we try several in our group and enjoyed most, tuna tartar was outstanding. Looking forward to coming for brunch.
Really great charcuterie. We had two plates. Margarita was good.
This is a small place but has a great view of the water. We went during the boat show and due to the nature of it being very busy our service slightly suffered. For food, I would recommend their bao buns. Totally random on their menu but worthy of ordering two orders!
Went here with friends. Love the location. The presentation of food was amazing. Good flavor for most of it. Good service and left full and happy. I would go back!
Dined at Lido Bottle Works for the first time this week. We had a great time. The wine list is superb. We most enjoyed the Pork Belly Buns, Ceviche, and Tuna Appetizers as well as the Dory Catch of the day and the Hangar Steak and Frites. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Try it out the first chance you get!
Great restaurant, awesome service, fantastic food, just great!
Dishes wayyyy over seasoned and didn’t taste great
Service was very inexperienced
No idea it was a “beer & wine only” restaurant
Ambiance was decent
Wayyy too loud & cold inside
Will not be going back
I can forgive most all the above if the food was delicious -but it was far from that!
Food was outstanding. Great atmosphere but very loud. We could hear everyone’s conversations. Our waiter was very good but in general service could use a little help. We will definitely be back!
Great location but not enough seating inside. We froze outside for the second time.
Also, this is my third visit and I feel the same about the menu as well as our guests said the same. The menu is all over the board and nothing that stands out. Food is good but the options
The menu items are interesting, the plated presentation tasteful and the food delicious. Their iced tea is darned good too!
Magic. Worth all your efforts to get there.
Great to have a nice little waterfront restaurant to have drinks and great food! Service was very nice and staff was pleasant!
Excellent experience. Very good food and service. Very nice wine and beer list. They are doing a great job. Can’t wait to return.
Will definitely plan to go back and try some different things. Loved the fries! The noise level is almost unbearable for a conversation. oh well.
Had a great time ! Great view ! Right infront of the water , great crowd ! Good food ! Perfect for a brunch ! Will come back anytime ! Worth the drive ! Service is impeccable !! Great staff !!
Not going again
Awesome place, very good service and the food was unique and delicious. Area was cute and fun, would highly recommend it
A colleague and I visited Lido Bottle Works on a Tuesday night to celebrate her birthday. LOVED! Will definitely be making it a regular spot. The food was creative, both presentation and flavors. We did a dinner of small plates and our favorites were the Goat Cheese Fritters and the Pork Belly Bao Buns. The only dish we didn’t love was the Cauliflower - good in concept but the sweet cream didn’t work and I would have liked it to be a hot dish. It was a quiet night when we were there (cold weeknights don’t get as much traffic) but our server said it’s typically pretty busy. Decor gave us the impression of being in a swanky ship’s cabin - smart design! Thanks Lido Bottle for a great evening!
Great venue. Good food. Cozy and a bit noisy.
Relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for not rushing us. Deliciously prepared food. Scallops and duck cooked perfectly.
Website/open table marketing said Prixe Fixe menu And Full Menu. When we arrived and were seated, we only saw the prixe fixe menu. When we asked the server, she looked at us like we were from Mars and her exact words were “You do know it’s Valentines Day, right?”. I showed her the page on my phone just so she would know that we came expecting the full menu. She ignored the question and immediately asked us what starter we wanted. The rest of the evening went about the same way. Our reservation was for 7:30, quite late. The place was maybe 2/3 full and not one person was seated after we arrived, however our server rushed us through the entire prixe fixe menu, hounding us for our next choice and trying to take away our plates with more than plenty of food still on the plate!! I live right across the street from the place and I want to love it, but this was a bad experience all the way around for a $200 meal. A lot of basics done just poorly.
