Sabemos lo frustrante que debe haber sido llegar y encontrar el lugar cerrado sin previo aviso, y queremos ofrecerte una sincera disculpa. Intentamos notificar esta situación a través de OpenTable y ofrecer alternativas, incluyendo una mesa en Xaman, nuestro bar hermano, pero al parecer no logramos contactarte a tiempo. Nos gustaría mucho poder enmendar esta experiencia. ¿Nos podrías compartir la mejor forma de contactarte?    Had a wonderful time at Licoreria Limantour. Amazing cocktails and attentive, friendly service. Well located and nice space, loved sitting at the bar watching the cocktails being made.

   Welcomed by kind hosts, then escorted past the main dinning room into what felt like an old coat closet or purgatory for American tourists. Sat at a short table on uncomfortable ottomans like the ones you’d find in kindergarten. Extremely uncomfortable. Cocktail menu was lack luster, boring and unbalanced. Still convinced that the menu presented to us in the coat closet was a dumbed down version of the menu in the main room. Honestly, don’t waste your time here. There are far superior experiences around town, like Hanky Panky or Brujas. As for the one round of drinks we had at Licoreria Limantor, you’re better off going to any generic fast casual bar in the states.

   Dear Kevin. We sincerely regret that your visit wasn't what you expected. From what you describe, it seems there was a mix-up regarding the reserved space: Licorería is a distinct, more intimate concept within Limantour, separate from the main lounge. It's an experience focused on specialized service, with a menu curated from ingredients our bartenders collect on their travels—which is why it's smaller than the main bar's, and completely different. We regret that we weren't able to convey this clearly to you from the start. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify ways to improve communication about our experiences. If you ever decide to give us another chance, we'd love to welcome you to Limantour so we can share with you what we do with great care and passion.

   We did not have any food but it looked good hence my 3 star rating. With that being said, our bar tender Alfredo made delicious cocktails, every single one of them was amazing.

   Every cocktail is a great experience, very original, digging into Mexico's street food or gastronomy unique tastes and translating them into drinks.

    We first came because we saw this bar had made the Top 50 bars ranking, and we can see why! Every cocktail we tried was creative and delicious. The guacamole is excellent as well! The staff are also very friendly and helpful with recommendations.
