Liberty Tavern is a 130-seat restaurant spread over two rooms, including a 20-seat bar. In addition to our full-service kitchen offering our take on American classics, we also have two wood fired ovens. Our restaurant is a casual vibe that is perfect for dinner with friends and family, date nights, or to enjoy cheering on our Boston teams on one of our 11 TVs. Dinner is served seven days a week beginning at 4pm; and our late-night menu is available 10pm-12am daily. We also offer Lunch on Friday beginning at 12pm and Brunch on Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm! Our first visit. Impression: great energy (does not mean loud), like walking into a fun party. Loved the mix of gender, age, ethnicity in the diners. The food is the winner! Absolutely not a predictable menu. Fresh ingredients, attractive presentation. COLD beer. We’ll be back (even if we were the oldest people in the room—anyone missing their grandmother??)!

We came for dinner on a Friday night. Reservations were great as there was a line. We were seated quickly by the kitchen so we could see the food as it came out and it all looked delicious so it was hard to choose! We shared the shrimp tacos and scallops limoncello and both were fabulous!! We also had the apple cider sangria which was light and refreshing. Our server was helpful and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would definitely return!

We had the Brussels sprouts and those were the best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. I also had the brisket which was delicious. It was pretty packed in there so it was kind of loud but overall a good experience.

The only reason I gave the food 4 stars is because the rice in my order was undercooked. But the rest of the dish was great! The waitress and manager both addressed the issue and took my dish off the bill. I did not expect that, but it was very appreciated. Great Customer Service! Hostess, wait staff, bar tender, servers...the entire staff were great. You could tell that they all enjoyed their jobs and were eager to make our experience exceptional. Thank you

Some of the best shrimp or avocado tacos, you were fine. The chicken wings had a good dry rub, but seems a little under seasoned or under spiced. The mushroom pizza has a delicious ricotta with a hint of lemon in the background.

Went for brunch early Sunday. We were one of the first customers in bar area. Rebecca our server was fabulous. She was friendly, helpful, suggested different things and didn't rush or push us. The drinks were great. Love the monthly charity cocktail. Food was very good. Would have given 5 stars for food but they don't have vanilla ice cream. Several of the desserts call for ice cream! Not our first time there and won't be our last.

We’ve been here for brunch a few times and have always enjoyed it. The eggs Benedict and breakfast hash were solid choices…well prepared and tasty. The espresso martinis were top-notch and reasonably priced. The service was excellent throughout. The inside is recently upgraded and the weather was great, so the large window was open. Made for a nice atmosphere.

Been living in Quincy for a few years now, and Liberty Tavern is still one of our favorite restaurants to hit. Never had a bad meal or service there. At nights they can get busy, so highly recommend a reservation - especially on the weekends.

Absolutely wonderful food. I’d suggest the brussel sprouts with bacon and Gouda pretzels to start. Also loved the poke bowl! Only suggestion is it is hard to hear/ talk with the music and maybe the acoustics of the restaurant.

No wait when checked in for our reservation. The ambiance is nice with the open windows to the street. The bar is nice. I believe all of it is high tops. For starter drinks, my daughter husband both got soda and I got the S’mores coffee drink. It was a nice afternoon drink. Perfectly made and not overly done in alcohol. For an appetizer, we received the STUFFED PRETZELS. The runner just dropped it off at the end of our table. I personally feel it needed more Gouda in the middle. The plate was sauced with the 5-cheese sauce. Sauce was good but next time I’ll ask for a steak knife as it was not tough to cut with the a table knife which cutting shook the table a lot. So we had to use our hands to rip it apart as it was still a bit hot. My daughter got the regular EGGS BENEDICT. My husband got the SWEET POTATO + PULLED PORK HASH. His only request was that he needed salt and pepper which he asked and got. TRUFFALO CHICKEN BENNY, is what ordered. Perfect portion. Chicken was perfectly crisp and flavorful. All of our eggs were exceptionally runny ( rated a 10). My recommendation is to go back.

The food was ok. I had the lobster, it was good but cold. The Mac n cheese was good but it's a spicy. Shrimp scampi was bland no favor in the sauce. They need more options, the menu is very small. I probably won't go back due to that.

Fun place for a Friday night. Wasn't too crowded and great atmosphere. Great menu options too! They also feature a charity cocktail each month where they donate $1 to a special charity. Tiny Transplant Titans is July and it was so great to see everyone drinking one to support a great cause. Will definitely be back again.
