For $30 per person, enjoy our signature lemon curd-filled mini donuts with a mimosa to start, followed by your choice of entree and dessert. Our younger guests can enjoy the same menu without the mimosa for $22 per person.

Fare was creative..portions extremely small...service was proficient..great vibe..
Fantastic find. Small neighborhood gem. Young chef. Small plates. Perfect size. Great food. Hope this place sticks around for a long time.
We found this restaurant recommended on Yelp. The chef is young and a graduate of the CIA. He has done a great job of creating a lovely dining experience. The menu is a tasting menu with the choice of two, three or four courses. Each course has a number of excellent items. You can get a wine paring with each tasting menu for an extra $15 to $25 - a two ounce pour of a paired wine with each course.
We had a lovely dining experience. The food quality was excellent and the front of house staff was very friendly and efficient. We had the chance to talk to the chef/owner after dinner to express our thanks for a great meal.
We would definitely return.
When you go, you must finish your meal with Revere's Ride!! So good (I have mine decaf 😁)
Liberty Street Bistro knocks it out of the park every time
Had a great time with our family, the brunch is a favorite for my wifes birthday. Will be back again.
Phenomenal food and service!
What a delightful little bistro! The atmosphere and service were spectacular.
The food was interesting but much of it way to salty; some to the point
that we could not eat it.
With a little less heavy hand on the salt shaker, this restaurant will evolve nicely.
The food was all delicious, the concept of 2-4 pre-fixed courses was a bit odd though. Would have preferred to be able to order a la carte. The cheese plate dessert had an absurd amount of cheese. Even with two people, we barely ate half. The timing of the courses also seemed a little bit off.
My wife and I went to Liberty Street Bistro on our getaway from the city. It's a perfectly situated place with the right atmosphere to enjoy great food and relax. The staff was very friendly and communicative. They clearly enjoy working there, which makes the experience that much better.
The dishes are excellent takes on simple ideas that create great flavor combinations. The wine pairings are excellent as well. The portions were larger that we anticipated, which was a nice surprise.
Definitely check this place out!
This is our 6th dinner here and each time our expectations are exceeded. The food is remarkable. The service is fantastic and personal.
You have to try it.
This was an incredible dining experience. Everything was prefect from the time we walked in till we left. You have your choice of two, three, or four course meals. Check the seasonal menu and do some culinary research before going so you understand the menu. Wait staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. We were started with a taste of mushroom soup. The texture was prefect, the flavor was deep and clean. Our night included oysters that were fresh and balanced with the right level of brineyness (not a word but you get it). The octopus was prepared perfectly. A highlight was the beets and gnocci small plate! Incredible. I ordered the duck breast. It melted like fillet. It was rich and the crisp skin gave it that extra level. Paired with the bok choy and polenta made this one of the most compete dishes I've ever had. It was perfectly executed. The macarons at the end of the meal were a neat little send off.
An impeccable and incredibly delicious meal, expertly served, in a beautiful restaurant.
Love, Love this little place...a little gem of Newburgh!
Liberty Street Bistro has a limited menu, which I find helpful after being deluged by myriad choices in all aspects of my weekly life. Presentation is exquisite. Quality superb. The chef is local but my date said he worked at Per Se in NYC. That showed through. A memorable dining experience.
Enjoyed the dinner. They had a special valentines 3-course menu and it was great. Not only did we get our three courses, we were also treated to a couple of additional dishes that they brought to the table. The staff was very courteous and professional the entire time. The food was very good, loved the presentation. Would go again.
I love this place. Every time I've been there, the food is excellent, there is always freebies and the wine recommendations go excellently with the food. The cocktails are quite nice too.
I have eaten here about six times, and have only had exceptional meals.
The service was impeccable, which set the tone. Each course was excellent and the staff were more than willing to discuss the choices with us. There were also options for non meat eaters like myself, which sometimes can be a problem. Portions were perfect. The wine list was extensive, both bottles and by the glass. Highly recommend dining here.
The service was excellent from the time we entered and sat at the bar waiting for the rest of the party until we left. The food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Everything was so beautifully done. Truly fantastic. The wine list is well put together, was just beautifully prepared and presented. This is a serious value for this level of cuisine. .
Great service. The food was amazing! Enjoyed a much needed date night with my wife.
Wonderful experience. Everything was top notch. Will definitely return.
Food was good but not enough for the price. We left hungry. Price was disgusting as if we were in NY City and the atmosphere was pretentious to say the least. Service was just as poor, being served after other couples showed up after we were already seated. If you food was sufficient enough to at least make us feel like we ate it would have been a little better but to charge what you charge was robbery. Place you place on Facebook to tell the world.
What a wonderful surprise! Expectations exceeded! Service, food and drink were all amazing.
The service was excellent and friendly, the food very good. My husband had a steak and I had the fish and (sweet potato) chips- both very good. The restaurant needs to do something about the stench of industrial bathroom cleaner that greets you at the door, however. This is a deal breaker for me.
BEST TORTELLINI I HAVE HAD SINCE I LEFT ITALY . I WILL COME BACK TO EAT IT AS FREQUENTLY AS POSSIBLE .DELICIOUS .
Excellent as always. Liberty Street Bistro never disappoints. It’s a favorite choice for well prepared creative dishes and great friendly service.
A gem in Newburgh. I love this place. The food is consistently good and the wait staff is very professional and knowledgeable.
We love this restaurant and go there as often as we can. The food is highly original and always fantastic. We love the bread and soups before the meal and are always impressed by the service. The location is on up-and-coming Liberty St. in Newburgh, right across from Washington's Headquarters. We always like to take a walk along the street and over to the river after dinner.
My family and I had sunday brunch at Liberty Bistro after church and we loved it! Even though there is not a kid's menu, I ordered the tomato bisque soup with the grilled cheese sandwich for her and she loved it! My daughter is very picky with what she eats but she devoured the grilled cheese sandwich and had half of the soup. Will definitely keep coming here!
decor nice. food not so great. under cooked and bland. owner chef sat in corner not acknowledging patrons, only two in place, no offer to correct issues. waitress didn't know difference between brut and pinot noir! got free glass of brut tho..
I have eaten here many times and found it to be excellent every time. This visit was a ‘thank you’ dinner for good friends. The food and wine was wonderful, as usual, and our friends were very impressed with the evening. Looking forward to or ext visit.
An absolutely classy meal with great originality, quality of food, beautiful presentation...Perhaps our fifth time here, and we leave wanting to return.
The waitress was very nice however I think she could have neaten up her clothing since the server's appearance definitely reflects the overall image of the establishment.
I went there with my elderly uncle and my mom because it is in a nice part of town, across from a historical park, and the restaurant is pretty, but the place was empty for lunch, the menu was extremely limited and very strange. The fried chicken was not even good to look at it, even the grilled cheese sandwich was bland. Only the soup of the day and the tomato soup were good.
So,?it was a very big disappointment given how nice the place looks and its nice location.
Fantastic dining experience! Very creative menu with great combinations of ingredients creating very flavorful food , and presented well.
Fine dining fine incredibly well...who would have thought in Newburgh?
If you’re a foodie, or just love great food you just have to check this place out
Outstanding service makes the experience even better
Another great meal at Liberty Street Bistro! Definitely worth the drive (about 45 min for us)! Food is always fresh, inventive and seasonal. Great cocktails at the bar, and awesome oysters!
Our dinner was creative and perfect ... as were the people who cooked and served it! We couldn't have asked for a more delightful and delicious three-course dinner on their "Pasta Monday." The new "risotto" dish was a revelation and a work of art, and the "extras," like the cute demitasse of rutabaga soup, were much appreciated. We both later regretted not photographing our meals, as they would show the thoughtfulness and artistry that goes into everything prepared at Liberty Street Bistro. Come, bring your friends, and enjoy!
