Liberty Station - DC Ranch
Acclaimed Executive Chef Anthony Apolinar heads the kitchen. Chef has created a menu that includes creative “shareable” appetizers, pasta and salads. Entrees feature fresh seafood, steaks and chops. Liberty Station smokes many of their high quality meats on a custom made smoker, prominently displayed on the west side patio of the restaurant.
They have things down since the remodel from Market Street Kitchen. Only downside was air conditioning g issues on a very hot Sunday.
We were able to talk without yelling. We had a very nice evening!
The happy hour menu is spectacular. We went on Taco Tuesday, and the shrimp, fish and pork tacos were some of the best we'd ever had. Service was superb.
Sunday Special Kids eat free was great.
From the very beginning we felt welcomed and the attention and service we received was top notch. Our waiter helped us make the perfect choices from the menu. The food was delicious and every one left happy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Overall the meals were good. Prime Rib excellent, rainbow trout excellent, salad excellent. Brisket was fatty and smoke flavor was "ok." Would not recommend the brisket. Wait staff was excellent. Beer on draft was a little pricey at 6.00 for 16 oz pour (especially in the summer).
Will come back, and try something different.
First time visit and I was impressed with the menu. Tried the Green Chile Stew and it was excellent. Next trip will try the barbecue and see how it measures up to my Texas roots.
Great food and super nice service. It was busy for Father’s Day but we were seated and served right away. The red bird chicken was fantastic.
Great Father’s Day brunch was had by all. Can’t wait to go back and try the new cocktails on the menu!
One of our favorite places!!!
Love their smoked meats. Brisket, ribs, pork shoulder. Delicious
Great food service and ambiance!
You don't get a lot for the money and quality is hit and miss. The firecraker shrimp is the best I've had as well as the fish tacos (but you don't get much for the price). The prime rib sandwich no flavor and just didn't work. The au jus tasted like grease and the cole slaw had no flavor. Tasted like salt-free mayonaise and cabbage. My date had the smoked brisket and barbeque pork, and those were excellent! Their St. Louis ribs are tough. They also have a good hamburger.
Very friendly and waiters waitresses and bartenders. The happy hour food is excellent and can be used as a meal. They have a lot of summer specials with a new one every day that I highly recommend. I really like the brisket quesadilla. Tenders make a fine drink.
Sunday Brunch was excellent. All six of us loved our meal and we all ordered something different. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. We'd all definitely return - for brunch, lunch or dinner. It was an amazing surprise that kids eat free on Sunday! Liked the fact that they have something special offered each day.
Liberty Station is consistently the best brisket we have had. All the sides are a great compliment and very delicious....especially the baked beans - AZ style and cornbread. So happy to have a neighborhood favorite in walking distance to home. Great Job with National BBQ Day!
Fried fish and fried chicken were something else. Tooover fried. The fish inside was hard like li was left sitting out and dried
The food is excellent. Plenty of choices. Prices are reasonable. Good size portions. We all had half portions and it was more than enough.
The service was excellent. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. Have eaten there twice. Would go again
Great food and service, as always! We are never disappointed.
This has become a favorite go to shop during our four months in Scottsdale . The staff is always exceptionally, cheerful and accommodating. While the smoked meats are the feature and are terrific I was pleasantly surprised to find the trout was outstanding and the fish and chips above average. I haven't found anything on the menu that was not well prepared.
Service was great. Food was okay.
Our waiter TJ(?) Was amazing!! Wonderful great consistant food!!!
Everything was excellent...food and service were exceptional
Great restaurant. Great food. Good service. You can talk to the pitmaster and had to try the BBQ platter with 3 different kinds of meat. Was incredible. But $42 for platter seems a bit high for a pound (ish) of meat
service was terrible and the food fair at best. never again.
nothing seems to have changed from Market Street Cafe previously here except service is less enthusiastic
Great food & drinks. Service was superb. My only regret about Liberty Station is that the bathrooms are unisex. I know the millennials like that, but I like bathrooms dedicated to either men or women. This will keep me from dining at LS as often as I otherwise would. Hey LS, please change your bathrooms.
I have never had better service in my life! These servers were so on point, it was unbelievable! The blue chz dressing is delish as is the bbq sauce...all the bbq meats were...ok. I did love that the pork shoulder wasnt stewy, but it was a tad dry. The chicken strips tasted like fish, the noodles were not good, the salad was gross (other than the dressing), the location is fun and beautiful...but we paid nearly 100 dollars for a below ok meal. But like I said, the servers were wonderful...all of them. Maybe it was just an off day.
I wanted to like Liberty Station so much because it's close to our house but the food is just average and the champagne vinaigrette was awful. If I cannot get a good salad then I'd rather be eating the delicious Asian salad at the All American Modern Sports Grill across the street.
First time there & was pleasantly surprised with the delicious food Served. The menu was not your typical options when dining out. The staff was very friendly & our server had an amazing personality. Plan on eating here many times in the near future.
Food has improved and the atmosphere is very great! Our service was fantastic... we miss the Q
Service was prompt and friendly. Noise level a bit high. The menu offers a variety of choices at good prices. My companions and I ordered brisket items and the meat was flavorful, although a bit on the fatty side. We also ordered the shrimp and they were delicious.
we were pleasantly surprised with Liberty Station. The standout was the SERVICE. the food was all good but the service we received was outstanding. Every person there was friendly and on top of their game. Well done!
Had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time for a table outside as requested and confirmed in our reservation. Embarrassing as we were hosting of town guests.
All was perfect... only complaint is serving size... way too huge!!! Took home and enjoyed 2 more meals!
Great food. Great service
The happy hour specials Sunday night were awesome and well priced
Went here Saturday night with a group of friends and sat on the patio which has nice ambiance considering it is street side. The men were dismayed since there no TV to watch March Madness on outside but there were heaters to keep the women happy. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered except that a couple of people wanted the prime rib dip which they said were out of but the special that night was prime rib. Hum, strange. My husband and I ordered the BBQ combo platter and the ribs and pork shoulder were perfectly cooked but the brisket was dry and tough; it certainly needed to be cooked longer. The BBQ sauce is more of tangy sauce so I wasn't fan since I like a sweeter sauce but that's just me. My husband didn't mind it at all. The sides of sweet potato fries and coleslaw were very good but I care for the corn bread; it had funky aftertaste besides that it was cold and dried out. Even the soft butter didn't help it. Service was good no complaints there especially since they were busy.
The food was excellent and a good value. Very good service.
I ordered the beef brisket and was horrified at what came on the plate. Large thick and irregular shapes of tough meat lacking any flavor and an absence of a smoke ring. Very disappointing. It was like eating shoe leather. I have eaten at the location off of Carefree Highway many times and loved it. I’ll not go to the Market St location again.
