Liberty Station - DC Ranch
Acclaimed Executive Chef Anthony Apolinar heads the kitchen. Chef has created a menu that includes creative “shareable” appetizers, pasta and salads. Entrees feature fresh seafood, steaks and chops. Liberty Station smokes many of their high quality meats on a custom made smoker, prominently displayed on the west side patio of the restaurant.
They let us move to a table I liked better. Much appreciated. Service friendly.
Overcharged $5 on Whiskey
Service was great! I had a little challenge initially with my order, but our server was awesome and made sure it was adjusted in a timely fashion. Food was great and we enjoyed our evening!
Friendly staff. Great food! Outdoor seating available. Had one of their specials....Chilean Sea Bass. It was excellent. My husband and the other couple had the smoked beef brisket that they thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert apple cobbler with ice cream.
This was our third visit. And, pleasant it was. Though loud (sadly all popular restaurants are loud these days) the service was superb. The meals were nicely presented and overall, very tasty. My Carolina Pulled Pork I thought was a bit dry in texture, but the sauce helped juice it up. And, they made a very nice extra dry martini despite the fact they don't sell Beefeaters Gin and I had to settle for Tanqueray. We had made a table reservation earlier in the day and it worked well even though the restaurant was full by 6:30.
I ordered the half rack of ribs. They we only warm ,very tough and difficult to cut. It was like they were cooked for hours and sitting around for someone to order. Then just heated up with more bbq sauce.
This experience was much better than our last time at the DC market Liberty Station. The server was absolutely excellent, very pleasant, and checked in on us The right amount of times. As always, the food was very good.
Awesome ribs and cocktails!!
Very friendly staff. Portions not as large as they used to be. Great Happy Hour.
Disappointed in one of our usual favorites. Tacos and pork shoulder were slathered in excessive amounts of BBQ sauce.
Awesome experience! Our server Jesse(y?) was fantastic. Food great - service great- overall a great Sunday afternoon lunch experience. We will be back!
Good food. Reasonable prices. Excellent service. Nice views.
It was a fabulous dinner!
Loved this restaurant. The service was awesome as was the food. Would definitely go back.
Food was good, but on a Sunday night at 7:00 pm, it took a very long time to get to us. Server also was not very good or attentive.
Gerri, Thank you for the feedback. Through valued guests as yourself we are able to correct and stay true to our quality of service and food. Complacency had no business at Liberty Station, thank you for the insight. Warmest regards, Monica Teligades Area Manager
First time here and we will be back next time on vacation. It was crowded, even on a Thursday evening. Good size portions of smoked prime rib sandwich and brisket platter with two sides and were both very good. Nice wine selection for a bbq place.
Sweet potato fries were awesome. Big wedges perfectly done. BBQ was great too
Food and service were excellent
Three of the meals were very good, one was poor at best. No manager input on why or what could be done to make up for it.
Just ok. Not impressed
Second time there and will not be the last. Outstanding service and food and very good prices.
We were sitted in the back corner by the parking lot and a car pulled in and left it's lights on and we had to finally go over and ask him to turn off his lights as it was shining right into our table. We actually had to ask him twice. Service and food were great! I won't sit in the back any more though.
Meat portions are very small. They overcompensate with way too much bread to cover up the fact that the meat is skimpy.
The french fries are a joke. They clearly came from a frozen bag of bulk shoestring fries.
Wonderful people but the food left a bad impression. The brisket was 50% fat and the fried bacon was so over cooked I couldn’t bite through it. Willing to give them a second chance but very cautious.
Enjoyable evening with friends on the patio.
Food is always great and the staff makes you feel like their friend. Bothers me when restaurants or any type of business make you feel like just a number. Liberty Station isn’t one of those! Liberty is one of my top to go places when when deciding where we want to eat. I highly recommend it! 👍🏼😄
My New Favorite Place!!! Love Liberty Station...Excellent Yummy quality food with great menu. Service is outstanding! Great atmosphere with energy and American decor. Price is just right for both food and cocktails. Will recommend Liberty Station to everyone!!! :)))
Always friendly & great value
Service was very slow getting drinks- we waited 20 minutes! Everything else came out on time and was delicious. Cute little place in DC Ranch.
Good food and great service!
Great atmosphere, food and service. This is our second time eating at Liberty Station and both experiences were great.
Very disappointed in our visit as it was advertised in an email to us that it was going to have a Hawaiian Luau theme . We dressed up in our SPAM tee shirts and SPAM caps because they requested dress up to fit the night. Our hostess sat us , didn't say a word about the special night, our server knew nothing about it , we were not offered special deals on drinks for dressing up , etc... It was jus a normal dinner night with no additional effort or fun put out by Liberty Station. We felt like we got suckered into dinner . Oh well, we won't do that again.
It was a solid GOOD. Nothing about it would bring me back, though.
They have things down since the remodel from Market Street Kitchen. Only downside was air conditioning g issues on a very hot Sunday.
We were able to talk without yelling. We had a very nice evening!
The happy hour menu is spectacular. We went on Taco Tuesday, and the shrimp, fish and pork tacos were some of the best we'd ever had. Service was superb.
Sunday Special Kids eat free was great.
From the very beginning we felt welcomed and the attention and service we received was top notch. Our waiter helped us make the perfect choices from the menu. The food was delicious and every one left happy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Overall the meals were good. Prime Rib excellent, rainbow trout excellent, salad excellent. Brisket was fatty and smoke flavor was "ok." Would not recommend the brisket. Wait staff was excellent. Beer on draft was a little pricey at 6.00 for 16 oz pour (especially in the summer).
Will come back, and try something different.
