Moving into the main kitchen, the menu is just as wide and deep with a variety of local and regional seafood dishes and local Texas Beef. Our desire, as always, is to have a little something delicious for everyone and a menu for every palate as well as daily and weekly special features inspired by the bounty of available produce, meats and seafood in the Gulf Coast and beyond.

I found this place since it is around the corner and within walking distance of the St. Regis Houston. The restaurant is a great find. It is a neighborhood gem for anyone in the River Oaks section of Houston or the surrounding area.
Food was excellent, and the menu had great choices. Service was spot on. Very pleasant place to dine.
I will return.
Good drinks and appetizers but worst gumbo ever. Wait staff and management very attentive.
Great dinner. Steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. Seafood tasted fresh . Good value overall.
We had a very nice lunch at Liberty Kitchen. We agreed that the options were good. Our server, Jamey, was very attentive and informative about the available specials. Our food was good, especially the Fish tacos that were on the lunch menu.
Well, I am disappointed I'm disappointed ! Liberty Kitchen is not what it used to be. Quality and service has gone down. Suggest never going for late reservation because you will be rushed out with little consideration or accommodations...regardless of $$ spent. Open Table offers to 8:45pm but the kitchen closes at 9! Bar too!! They should change in their system actual availability because waitstaff is removing aprons and gathering their keys at that time, completely disinterested in the service you would expect, or use to receive at Liberty Kitchen.
I came thinking I would get a taste of New Orleans. Grilled Oysters and Gumbo. Both were terrible. I couldn’t finish either. No flavor at all in the gumbo. The oysters reminded me out eating a pizza with extra cheese. Never seen so much cheese on oysters. I even ordered a Margarita and it was terrible. I think they forgot the simple syrup or agave. This issues in one night is not a mistake it’s a problem.
Everything we ordered was amazing.....one dozen oysters, deviled eggs with bacon jam, mixed grill special, gumbo & shrimp and carnitas.....all so good. Our server, Roberto was very friendly.
This is an excellent restaurant. The food was delicious; ambiance wonderful; service great.
The crab cake special was very good! However the server did not advise the cost until the bill arrived. Asked for booth in a quieter area of this busy restaurant and our request was honored. We could talk during lunch. 😀🍽
Very good cold bar food. Cocktails are a little sweetened over the classics so let them know if you want your cocktails to be made traditionally. Great service and I was able to get food that was low in carbs without making special request.
We were celebrated ne a birthday and looks like it was completely ignored. I was hoping someone from the team would at least wish a happy birthday to the person celebrating her birthday with family.
French fries were not served as requested with oysters. So service was not that good. It is a shame because I have been several times to this place and this is the 1st time I am disappointed
Another outstanding Sunday Brunch at Liberty Kitchen. The food is FANTASTIC! Our server was fantastic and provided us with excellent recommendations. The manager came over to greet us and check to see if we were satisfied and that was a nice touch to a wonderful dining experience.
It was a great compliment to our occasion. A quiet girls night out. The food, service and atmosphere was wonderful and I look forward to going back!
Drinks were subpar. One martini needed to be sent back. The steak was burnt and felt like cutting a rubber hose. Service was inattentive.
It's been a while since our last visit, but part of the reason we went were for the cocktails. It appears they no longer have their hand-crafted cocktails, just the generic ones. The food and service are still excellent, but we were disappointed.
Crab cakes were so disappointing. Service was great as always. Drinks and apps good.
Came here for my birthday dinner with my family. Ordered a dozen grilled oysters(happy hour prices) and they were delicious. My husband ordered the pimiento cheese and the whole table loved it. I ordered the shrimp scallops and cheese grits with bacon jam and it was very good. My husband ordered the shrimp po boy with the pork belly and it was huge and excellent. My daughter had the fish special and I had a
bite and it was very tasty. Our service was excellent, the food was great and we had a wonderful experience.
Nice place. Much less crowded than the heights location. Easier to talk and you don’t feel crammed in or rushed. Good food, great service.
The food was okay. The portions were very small. The restaurant was so empty at 8:15 in a Friday night. We didn’t feel the portions were worth the money. The server was very nice and attentive.
My daughter lives right behind Liberty Kitchen and Oysterette, so we decided to try it out. We both loved the atmosphere and décor. Our waiter was great and the food was delicious. You must get the Brussels Sprouts! We will definitely be back.
Oysters and Martinis. Perfect....
Business dinner with NY out of towners and they loved it.
Service was great. Very pretty interior. Ordered one of the entrées from Restaurant Month menu. It was so-so. Steak was dry, black and charred. Tasted like grill had not been cleaned in a while. (Ordered medium). Poke was plopped down and dripping along side of bowl. Dessert was okay - but nothing special. Live in neighborhood and love small intimate settings when it comes to dining out, but would not recommend. Never would take a client.
Awesome place! Been here three times now and gets better every time! Also love the atmosphere and decor! Perfect place!!
We had Billy for service and he was great. Menu is different but also had common items. Everything we had was really good and fresh. Younger restaurant people classify as millennial in general. We go there for the seafood, service and conversation. We have been there twice and the GF really likes the place.
I’ve had better seafood elsewhere in the city. Not sure what that cocktail shrimp appetizer was made of...
why the lasagna Bolognese was so creamy & crunchy or why the Italian cake was stale...
Exceeded all expectations! I brought 6 colleagues here for dinner and everyone LOVED the restaurant! It is very rare that all guests would be totally satisfied but the food here is amazing and left us talking about the meal for days. Given that we all had very different dishes, I would say that that you cannot go wrong with this place is you need a “go-to” spot to impress your friends or business colleagues!
Flavor of the food was great but the quality of the food wasn't impressive. I did the HRW menu and was sadly not impress overall. Sat at the bar for this dinner and service was great though.
Great food and atmosphere. Can a accommodate larger parties and was a great experience.
First time visit because of Restaurant Month. $35.00 for 3 courses dinner sounded wonderful.
half dozen oyster on half shell - fresh, tasty but small. Ahi Tuna is small and not really freshin dull color Entree- Sirloin Steak 4 oz and 3 shrimps.
Steak is rather small for 4 oz and shrimps are smaller than I expected to be served as part of entree.
Desserts - nothing spectacular - all in all for $35.00 is not bad value but expected more for Restaurant Month to show case the restaurant.
Stopped in for lunch and I set at the bar the bartenders where so helpful with the menu and recommended some great small plate and everything was delicious!!
we went during the HRW, the food's value and the taste didn't worth!
Convienient and great service. Manager did the rounds and made us feel at home and special.
Bar service was good, but the kitchen was extremely slow. My friend ordered poke, and it took 30 minutes. I had oysters first, which took about 25 minutes, then ordered poke, and after 45 minutes of waiting on it, I canceled the poke order. There were minimal people in there, maybe 15 at the busiest point. I’m unsure why the kitchen was so slow.
Good food great service. Enjoyed the HRW menu.
Excellent but I wish they had sugar free jelly and pancake syrup
The service was horrible! I watched our waiter give every table in his section the same subpar service. He didn’t smile.. he even put up His hand to stop another patron to stop talking as he rushed to
Another table to take their order. For this reason only, I will not go back to this restaurant. Although the bar staff was excellent!
We did the restaurant week dinner menu. The portion was surprisingly small. Main course was more like starter. And three of us ordered oysters, THEY DID NOT OOK AND TASTE FRESH. All of them appears to be grey. See photo for detail.
First time here might well be my last visit. Very disappointed.
Service was good, my dad did have to keep reminding them to refill his coffee since they’d tend to forget to come around and ask. The food wasn’t as great as it used to be from the last year or so that we visited.
Great Food, Great service. Drinks were very good. Highly recommend this place.
