The Liberty Commons menu is largely inspired by quirky and imaginative twists on fine comfort food, with many dishes creatively integrating Big Rock Brewery’s quality craft beers, brewed on site.
Nice patio and great service.
Enjoyed our meals very much!
We’ve been to Liberty Commons many times before. Not sure if it was because of Summerlicious or the pre concert crowd, but they were definitely off of their game.
The food was over cooked. For example, I had the smoked brisket and it was dry with no evidence of a smoke ring.
Servers (we had at least 4 through the evening) seemed confused and harried.
The food and atmosphere was great. The only issue was the waiter spilled drinks all over our table and us. It went all over my son and friend. I then had to wait what felt like forever for new drinks. We weren’t offered anything and it was disappointing.
Food was amazing
Great pre-game location. One beef with my visit on Saturday. I ordered poutine for lunch. When it came there was very little gravy on it. Once I FINALLY got my waitress to come back to our table, I asked for more. The kitchen is FAR from the dining room. She went towards the kitchen, came back, empty handed, and said that the extra gravy would be a dollar. I indicated that there wasn't actually enough gravy on the poutine to cover the fries or melt the cheese curds. She went BACK to the kitchen and came back with a DIFFERENT gravy than what was on the poutine. By this point I have very little of my lunch left and it is no longer warm. Not my favourite visit to this location for sure.
We went for dinner prior to a concert at the amphitheater. The service was slow at first however this was due to it being prime dinner time. The waiter was apologetic and very attentive. We let the waiter know it was ok and not his fault since it was so busy at the time. Food was excellent and we would not hesitate to go back! Thank you!
I have had the pleasure of coming here a few times prior to a concert at Budweiser Stage. It is a vibrant place which means don't think you can have a quiet conversation here. The drink menu and selection of beers are good and even as a non beer drinker, I can find something I like. We have sampled many of the menu items such as the salads, and tuna bowl and found them to be excellent quality, if not slightly on the small size. The calamari however was a disappointment. We mentioned to our server, after a very long delay in getting the order, that this was possibly the worse calamari I have ever had. Much to our delight the calamari was removed from our bill, apparently not because of our comment, but rather due to the delay. Regardless it was appreciated and reveals good customer service. So dear Chef, we will be back but can you fix the calamari as I know you can based on the other quality items.
Loved everything except the Caesar salad. It was a bit weird. Ribs were amazing and the wine selection is great.
I have Celiac and was worried about not being able to eat much because of my allergy. Liberty Commons is amazing and have so many gluten free options! The fish and chips were incredible and the corn bread was also so good! I would definitely eat here again
ill be back. with friends. lots of friends. lots and lots of friends
The music was disturbing and the service was good but the rapid delivery of the food was that of a cafeteria, not a fine dining experience.
Thanks to Russ, Alice (from SCOTLAND :-) and Marcus for the hospitality...
I am missing my 100 points
We went for brunch and it was delicious food as always. I had the carrot cake pancakes and they were so rich and filling and my fiance had the full English breaky which I sampled some of and it was equally amazing!
I just love everything about this place. The food is incredible :)
It was super great there! The beer is clearly a highlight but the food was surprisingly really good. The service was fast, and almost a little too fast, but thats something that you can easily get over. Would definitely recommend
Made a reservation for 17 people and the people at Liberty Commons were so accommodating even when I asked to add a few more people to the reservations. Aidan single handedly took great care of us, the food came fast and definitely satisfied our hunger after our 50km group bike ride. Thank you so much for hosting us!
Fun game night exp
A very good experience enjoyed by our Business Partners from Boston
Gathered with group of friends to watch Raptors game. Poutine was divine!
Love the private room!
Great food and service
We enjoyed liberty commons so much. They took care of us so well. It took a little longer as it was super busy. They went out if their way to make it up to us and every single server apologized even though we didn’t complain.
Waited over 15 minutes for our drinks and food was bland. I’ve been before and it was spot on so I’ll chalk it up to being a busy holiday.
Ther service was impeccable. We had a server who recently moved from Ireland and he was very friendly, considerate, attentive and on top of our orders.
We had a wonderful dinner at Liberty Commons. We were a large group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids) and the staff took very good care of us. Food and drinks were delicious!
Nice area and environment! It was a great vibe and fun time with friends! Would recommend!!
Good food, average downtown Toronto pricing. Pleasant service and good vibes.
A bit over salted and the brisket was ok but dry. Could not finish the meal because of that. Great atmosphere and service though.
Food was great, service was awesome. Great Mother’s Day brunch! Love the vibe and mood of the place as well. Would recommend 100% and will be coming back!
My girlfriend and I decided that we wanted to check out Liberty Commons, and it was amazing! Our server William was incredibly friendly and made great beer recommendations for their tasting flight highlighting their special rotating taps that he personally enjoyed. The manager, Sarah, went out of her way to point out some of her favourite dishes on the menu as well. We were accompanied by two other people making it four of us, and we had the BBQ platter, excellent recommendation by the staff, it was incredibly filling and delicious (not to mention a steal at $100). Will be back!
Brunch menu was good, great selection of beers (& $6 Caesars!)
great spot to meet up before heading to the amphitheater, TFC or Wolfpack match. parking is close by, bmo, lamport and the amp are within walking distance. great selection of beer and the service and food is far better than what you would expect from liberty village. imagine your favorite pub but better.
I had my Birthday party at Liberty Commons with 12 guests and service was prompt, food was fantastic, and the overall vibe was perfect!
Went with a Travel Zoo voucher and were incredibly disappointing with our time. Were given a very limited menu and because of food aversions, my girlfriend and I were stuck to only one option each. Our entrees were not good so we did not eat much. For the appetizer, my girlfriend could only have one option, and it was not good. She was unable to finish her meal and were very disappointed. I am lactose intollerant, and found that even though I shared this was the staff had dairy in my entree. I reminded our server of this prior to dessert, and then had my dessert covered in ice cream, which clearly I couldn't eat. Overall, we spent over $100 on a meal where we ate almost nothing. We left VERY disappointed and needed to get food elsewhere on the way home.
My friend has an onion allergy. Crazy, right? I put it in the Special Request section when I placed the reservation on Open Table and called to see if they could accommodate; Vic talked to the chef which assured us it they could.
Everything went perfectly. Our server(wish I had got his name!) offered her a few choices and checked with the chef. He offered her the substitutions they could make and it was delicious! They handled the allergy with no issue and still had great options with creative substitutions.
Delicious brunch, great selection of beers and wonderful service. Our server Lorca really added to the atmosphere with his beautiful Irish accent.
Server was great. Food was out promptly.
Came in on a Sunday with a friend visiting from out of town. We were welcomed by friendly staffs and were seated right away. Sunday is brunch day and our server showed us around. The food was great and was always prepared fresh. The highlights for me were the crispy bacon, toffee pudding, and of course their made-to-order pasta! Ordered creamy cavatelli pasta with shrimps, mushrooms, and spinach. Creamy and yummy! Definitely will be coming back to this place even when it's not brunch.
Tracy Tucker and Steve Spooner are the best. Heyyy girls!
