Beautiful patio and excellent food and drinks. Our dog was welcome to join us on the patio as well.
Honestly, what a wonderful way to spend my first "back into the real world" experience. Obviously it was my first patio dinner since lovely quarantine and it was super enjoyable (even though seeing people together again was a bit overwhelming). The drinks my party and I wanted to order were "out of stock" at the time but our waiter went above and beyond and made sure we got what we wanted. He was super friendly, charismatic, chatty, and just made the experience so much better. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and while it was no P.G. Clucks it's still going to be on my top 10 chicken sandwiches from Toronto, damn it was good. I wish I would have had room for another but let's get real- probably not a good idea to eat two of those bad boys. Also, some of the main cast from Umbrella Academy was also dining at the same time so that's like +1000000 for ambience on it's own (even though I had to try as hard as I could to not fan girl and just let them be normal people). I've only gone to Liberty Commons for drinks quickly but will make dining in a more regular experience now. That was great. Thanks, guys, keep up the great, attentive work. <3
Love this place . Staff go out of their way to make your dinner enjoyable. Both service and food were very good . My favourite place in Liberty Village.
As far as COVID.. you are prescreened and all tables well distant
Ordered the Brisket and it was full of fat. I know that’s part of the meat but it was excessively fat. My girlfriend ordered a steak and a part of it was raw, she ordered it medium but got rare or medium rare. The dessert saved the night, the sticky toffee pudding was amazing.
Fantastic place, I will be back again soon! Service was spectacular, they were very great at accommodating our food allergies. Beer flights were amazing as well as all the cocktails… couldn’t ask for a better place to spend a Friday evening.
The beef brisket was the best I’ve ever had. Service was excellent. The architecture is really nice too with stone tiled floors and beautiful glass panels.
I love liberty commons. Went for dinner and drinks with a couple of friends last night. The service is always fantastic (had Alexander as a server as well as Emily and both were so lovely). The food is always great, and the ingredients always taste super fresh. Honestly I don’t know how this place isn’t more popular, it’s way better than Local. Plus the patio is really cute and spacious. I literally bring everyone here haha.
Great service!! Really enjoyed the meal.
Amazing Brazilian server who was attentive and professional in her job. A pleasure to be there.
The food is amazing and the staffs are super!!😍😍😍I recommend 110%
Great service and always high quality food! Kept warm by heaters and staff were super friendly!
Love this spot in Liberty Village! Every time I go, always an easy process to get a table given COVID protocols. Food and service is fantastic!
Servers were really attentive with us and took care of our requests in a great way.
This is a great spot to keep going back to. Extensive menu (meat lover but yum on that cauliflower) and prompt service. Enjoyed the evening out! 😁
We were sitting outside on their sheltered patio on a damp, snowy night. We wanted to have a dinner out before the city went into a 28-day, no-indoor-or-outdoor-dining lockdown, so we went prepared for the weather. When they confirmed the reservation, I was told to bring a blanket to keep my legs warm (but wearing long underwear also helped). They had a propane heater set up beside each table, and they turned it on right after we sat down. It kept us very comfortable during our outdoor meal, and we felt cosy and isolated. Perfect set up, really. Because the weather wasn't great, there were only two other tables occupied, so it was a pretty quiet night. The food was great, but the service was stellar, and that made for a truly enjoyable experience. Hoping to experience the inside of this restaurant someday. :)
Heated and outdoors patio, there are tents if you manage to get something there.
Great time! Service was very attentive. All
of our meals were great.
Super great! Our server (a manager) was so friendly and had awesome beer and food recommendations. I’ll be back once everything is back open!
Loved the food and service. The patio setup was nice and we were warm despite being outside. Alexander was a great server as well, very friendly and attentive:) Thank you Liberty Commons!
Marvellous and usual! Warm heaters! Excellent service.
Amazing service. Staff were so friendly and really accommodating. Food was amazing, best Sunday roast I have had in forever. Thank you for having us and we will definitely be returning.
The staff were awesome, the patio was warm, and the drinks were good! All and all, lovely time.
Warm, hospitable staff and great attentive service. Best of all, the food was delicious. We had the mac & cheese, maple sriracha cauliflower and calamari. Also, I could have drank the mulled wine all night - it was that good. Patio was heated and with umbrellas for coverage. We were able to get a reso easily less than 24 hrs beforehand. They were good about mask wearing, seemed clean and I felt safe.
Really turned my day around, great beer, food and service. Nice and warm too!
Great beer, great food (steak special seared on the charcoal was to die for), great patio. Very well executed.
We had to wait about 20 minutes for our reservation, but this isn't unreasonable given there's a worldwide pandemic...
Staffs at Liberty Commons including manager Jonathan have been amazing during our past 2 visits.
Staffs were attentive and food/service was flawless.
We especially liked the Oktoberfest Ham Hock for 2 and really hope they bring this back for year-round menu!
Thanks Liberty Commons !
Really enjoyed the service in particular. This was my second time going to Liberty Commons and both times the service has been stellar. Servers go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of.
It was really good food and had patio heaters. All you really need
Great spot and great service. Would definitely go back!
The chicken specially was amazing. The mulled wine was spectacular. We loved everything and would definitely recommend to our friends.
All the food is good, excellent soups. Chowder was the best I’ve had.
Great service and excellent food. The patio is heated but could use many more heating units (unfortunately we didn’t get a table with a heating unit close enough, luckily we bundled up).
Thanksgiving dinner - will be back next year!
Great service and food. Very spacious outside dining area.
Food was quite overpriced for what it is.
Food portion for the Thanksgiving day special was very small. I have a small appetite and I was still hungry after the meal, a beer and dessert.
The food was so delish and tasty and it was perfect for myself and some friends to spend Thanksgiving dinner here. I would highly recommend this place for good food and excellent customer service
Great patio setup given the current circumstances we are in. Food was delicious, nothing fancy just really tasty menu. Will definitely be back that’s for sure
