Great neighborhood gem with a nice vibe. Great and attentive service. Food could have been better - my tuna steak (while ample and generous) was over cooked and could have used more flavor. The sweet potato mix was nice. Good value for the overall experience. Will be back.
We had a party of 6 && everyone loved everything. Dylan and Julie took great care of us.
Bloody Mary, Eggrolls. Pastrami Omelette && Chicken and Waffles.
Great food, friendly service.
Drinks were fantastic! Service was excellent. Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were so tasty! Accommodated our late arrival and were very responsive to our need to get out in time for to the theater. Very comfortable vibe. Definitely recommend.
Pleasant venue and service. Muffin, cornbread and mimosa were good. I had the pastrami omelette. It was just okay. Overall nice experience.
Post 1/2 marathon brunch— awesome coffee, great food!
Staff here is amazing ❤️
We stopped for a quick dinner before seeing Hamilton on our Anniversary. We were running a little late for our 630 reservation. The hostess asked if we had theater tix and we let her know we did. She made sure the server knew this. Everything ran smoothly. We had shrimp flatbread and ravioli. Both were tasty. We had cocktails, and even had time for dessert! Thank you!
The food was a little disappointing.
We were commemorating a very special anniversary our close friend. Our server, AJ, was wonderful, friendly and very attentive to our large group. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Everyone was thrilled.
Service was super slow. It was a busy night, but it took a good bit of time for a server to even come to our table. By the time we got our appetizers, we had been there (seated) for 50 minutes. Both of us were underwhelmed with our food. The cocktails, however, were very good.
A week ago my wife and I and two friends ate here and had a great experience. Good food and great service. Last night was a totally different experience. They were busy which seemed to mean that the hostess was running around like a chicken without head. She seated us outside and then forgot about us. She took @15 minutes to come back with place settings. A few minutes later a waitress showed up without acknowledging the fact that we had been sitting there outside without the heater turned on for 20 minutes. She took our drink order and then came back and took our food order. The app we were sharing took 30 more minutes to show up. So we were in our seats for 65 minutes before our app was delivered. A few minutes later as we we still eating our app the entrees were delivered. The waitress was very robotic and never acknowledged the time it took for us to get our appetizer and never really even tried to establish rapport. Disappointing meal at Libertine last night for sure.
Server was friendly and attentive. We arrived a few minutes late, and were seated right away. Staff was friendly and upbeat. Location is great, albeit a little small. Our app never came out, but server was very apologetic and comped a dessert for us. Would absolutley return.
Small but fun place. Food was really good / had hummus toast, salad, & the Parker burger. Burger was fantastic, shareable since it’s 10oz!
We had a great meal and service last night at Libertine. It was the perfect pre-theater meal.
Libertine is a great little bistro in the lobby of a Fairfield Inn & Suites. Fun and vibrant decor and a great spot for people watching. There are some really different and interesting cocktails on the menu, and a really good mimosa and bloody mary special during brunch. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberries. Very good, and large serving of three pancakes. The pancakes were a little stiff and not as lemony as I would have preferred but still delightful. One of my dining partners had the smoked salmon bagel that came with very generous helpings of the salmon and side veggies. Two of my dining partners had the sweet potato waffles and chicken. They both had to ask for maple syrup as the side of honey was not enough for the waffles. The chicken was a bit overdone and dry. The side of strawberry and jalapeno salsa was yummy. Definitely a place I would go back to. Valet parking right out front.
Had Kyle as our server and spoke to the chef. In from out of town and this place hit all the marks!! The cocktails were amazing and the philly egg rolls are a must try. The secret chicken 3.0 was one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had! Go to Libertine!!!
Great food, friendly knowledgeable, service. Quiet enough for good conversation.
Great food. Derek and his staff are the best!
Soft pretzels were very good, calamari was tasty but not a lot of the sauce but it was good. Unfortunately meals werent great but they all looked great. We had boneless wings, meatball flatbread and chicken biscuits. Fries were really good. May have just been a bad night or we ordered the wrong things.
Didn't realize this place was within a Marriott, which has a longstanding reputation for wonderful food. Libertine did not disappoint. From the variety of interesting cocktails to the apps (cheesesteak eggrolls - loaded with meat) to the delicious flatbreads (brisket; bbq chicken), we were comfortably full (but had burger-fry and even salad envy from the next table). Got us in and out quickly for the theater thanks to the super helpful, friendly and fast service with Travis. Will definitely return!
Food was ok....maybe ok is a stretch. Service was good. I liked our waitstaff.
I like to drink tonic water. They brew their own. I was not expecting that. It was great. They also make their own ice cream.
I’ve been here before and the food was great . However the food this time was terrible. It looked beautiful but it tasted like nothing no flavor at all. Very disappointing.
Went with my parents and my partner for a night out. Dinner and drinks were great but dessert was only so-so. I ordered a crème brûlée because we saw a review saying it was the best ever and I did not have that experience. My dad ordered the flourless chocolate cake and it was cold. I might recommend going elsewhere for dessert but will certainly be back for dinner!
Simply wonderful. The pace of the meal was excellent and the quality of the food was top notch. Our server was absolutely delightful!
Derek Davis and his staff are reason enough to experience Libertine ... and everything we ordered for dinner was absolutely wonderful ... thank you!
We ate outside and they provided a heater toward the end of the meal, it was breezy. The hamburgers were terrific. The appetizers were good, especially the beef skewers. The calamari was not great, meager and somewhat tasteless. The beets were also good, not great- not much taste or feta included as advertised, and the Brussels sprouts were also good but I prefer them crispier. The romaine salad was good but it’s a “slice” of romaine, not a traditional salad. Overall, we would go back, especially for the burgers.
What a gem! Came for happy hour and stayed for dinner! Wonderful attentive staff and delicious food! $2 beers for happy were perfect! Plus free wine with theater tickets! Visit soon!!!
Went for brunch with my parents and it was great!
We were moved indoors due to rain and we seated at a high top in the bar area. Not the most comfortable arrangement for us. I had called several hours earlier to confirm that we could be moved inside and was assured that it would be no problem. Regular tables sat empty while we dined. The food was good, but Prosecco was served in a big white wine glass.
we were seated outside for brunch. Our server was gracious in seating an extra friend who had joined us, and was accommodating and great in getting us all settled and happy (we are nice but picky people:) The food was delicious, the french press coffee was perfect, and I would definitely recommend Libertine for a great Philly meal. Wonderful location and a quick walk from City Hall.
waitress and new bartender where exceptionally awesome today. food and service was amazing.
Great experience , super nice staff and good food . Would go back
Even during a day when staffing may not have been the best- our experience was delightful. Chef owner Derek Davis makes sure his restaurant a true gem.
Chicken on the chicken and biscuits was unrecognizable. Horrible
Secret chicken was nothing but a roasted breast and leg.
Our waiter Travis was really personable and treated us well. He helped us make food selections that were on point. We had the Burrata Salad, Mac and cheese and fillet skewers. Delicious! Definitely will be back and want to try happy hour.
Great Food. Perfect for sharing. Wonderful staff.
The food and service was amazing. We will definitely be back!!!
Overall the experience was good. The food selections ok but not great.
