I celebrated my 40th birthday here and I couldn't have chosen a better restaurant 😌. The food, the ambiance, the decor was all top tier! Our server Josh was amazing and attentive as well. The cocktails were very pricey but as were the cocktails but I'd certainly return. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious 😋, as were the cheesesteak empanadas, greens, and these were the best deviled eggs I've ever eaten🤗.

Went there to celebrate a birthday and I was not impress. The atmosphere was ok, kinda small, very close seating. My table was uneven so it was constantly rocking back an forth. For the price of the food I would expect table linens. I ordered the vegan Hoppin Joppin which is described as yellow Carolina rice and heirloom vegetables, I got a dish with no flavor and frozen mixed vegetables. The people sitting next to me had 2 items sent back also due to poor taste. The service was average, never offered dessert which I thought was strange. Lastly, I also choose this place because it's located in a hotel so I could easily valet but that was also not an option as their lot was full when I arrived. I called the day before to inquire about parking but was not able to reach anyone. The host told me he called the "large parties " to let them know parking was limited. I guess I didn't meet that quota.

The setting was undeniably beautiful, and several members of the waitstaff contributed to a warm, lively ambiance. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in several key areas. The drinks were overpriced and lacked complexity, with garnishes that felt more like an afterthought than a complement. As for the food, we opted for the much-hyped fried snapper on the hook/stand — a visually dramatic dish that, sadly, didn’t deliver on flavor. The batter was clearly burnt, which overwhelmed the dish, and the fish itself was under-seasoned. The accompanying oil-based relish was overwhelmingly greasy and desperately needed salt or some form of acid to balance it out. Service also missed the mark. While the overall staff seemed engaged, our server appeared disinterested and was unable to offer any guidance on the menu, noting they hadn’t tried most of the dishes themselves. This lack of insight or enthusiasm was disappointing, especially given the restaurant’s pricing. With so many more flavorful and affordable options available, I would not recommend dining here based on our experience.

We loved everything that we ate which is rare. The deviled eggs with lobster were delicious. The whole fish and greens were awesome. Finally the desserts were amazing, chocolate bread pudding and pineapple crème brûlée! We will be back.

Came here for a graduation dinner and was pleasantly impressed. We ordered 4 different meals and everyone enjoyed their food. The crab cakes and whole fried snapper were definitely the highlights.

Visited this spot on a Thursday night. Food was great. I love the oxtails and grits however I did swap out the grits for rice due to the sweetness of the jimmy red sauce. Would def recommend and I’ll be back. Oh and my friend got the snapper and it was amazing

HORRIBLE! THE WATER IN THE BOTTLE WAS WARM. I WAS WITH 3 OTHER PEOPLE. OUR RESERVATION WAS FOR 7PM. OUR DRINKS CAME OUT AND HOUR LATER AND 15 MINUTES LATER. ONLY 3 OF US RECIEVED DRINKS BECAUSE THE SERVER SAID THEY WERE WAITING ON CUPS. THE CUPS WERE NOT THE SAME SIZE OR DESIGN. NO BREAD OR ANYTHING KNOWING OUR FOOD WAS NOT COMING OUT TO THE TABLE UNTIL 8:30PM. WE RECIEVED OUR APPETIZERS WITH OUR ENTRÉES. I ORDERED THE OXTAILS WHICH WERE THE SIZE OF PIGS IN A BLANKET AND THEY NEVER BROUGHT OUT MY GRILLED ASPARAGUS I ORDERED. MY FRIENDS SKIRT STEAKS WAS VERY FATTY AND MY OTHER GIIRLFRIEND OXTAILS WERE VERY FATTY AS WELL. WE DID NOT ENJOY THE FOOD OR THE EXPERIENCE AND IT WAS MOTHERS DAY! IM STILL IN DISBELIEF THAT IT TOOK OVER AND HOUR FOR DRINKS TO BE SERVED!!! MY GIRLFRIENDS KEPT ASKING THE SERVER FOR THE A-1 SAUCE THAT NEVER CAME UNTIL THERE FOOD WAS ALMOST GONE!
