Noah & Alex were great! Thx for a fun evening
Such a fun place! Will visit again.
Great mimosa’s great service, we’ll be back
Brunch menu has changed (not necessarily for the better). Clearly aimed at a much younger audience now with higher noise levels, more games and TVs, heavier, more fried food. Too bad. This was one of our go to places for
Brunch. Will find something else, but with the closing of coup d’état, Lucia’s, and now the change here, options in uptown are becoming limited.
Our food was really good and we enjoyed playing skee ball and darts after dinner. I also loved the margarita that had the pineapple habenero flavor.
Libertine was great for brunch, I will be returning soon. The bottomless mimosa package was middle of the road price wise, but the server kept them filled and you get to choose a flavor for your first mimosa. It’s pretty noisy since they have large board games and a bar on the other side of the restaurant but it wasn’t too bad. They play good music and the atmosphere is extremely fun if you’re going for a casual brunch with good food and drinks
The service and everything were good. Even though I found a hair strand in my food while I was almost finished, the waitress was nice enough to give me a whole new meal again to replace it. Not only did she replaced me with a whole new meal but she give me discount as well. I was grateful for it. This was a great experience with a group of my friends. We all enjoyed our time there. The environment was peaceful and great. The play room was fun. Love this place. Will be back some time in the future.
Great service! Food was delicious. Brunch is the best time. Lots of games to play as well.
Concerned for their survival! Thurs nite, we one one table of very few people! Few people at bar. Sterile environment, average food, great server. Need to up the ante a bit - more promotion & visibility!
Not a great vegetarian menu. Slow service, but it was NYE.
This was a dismal experience. From the disappointing service, rigid menu with no vegetarian options and huge over sized portions to the missing locks on the bathroom stalls and empty toilet paper and hand towel dispensers, the brunch was a disaster.
I liked the music and atmosphere... the word trendy comes to mind. The mimosas were delicious with just the right amount of juice, excellent pour bartender! Try pineapple you won't regret it... just wish the bottomless wasn't only OJ, but eyyy $16 is pretty damn good. We liked the tatter bacon hash, the steak n eggs was good but steak was small for me... service was ok didn't see the waitress much and she forgot to tell us bottomless ended at 3pm... but overall the employees we encoutered had good attidudes. We would definitely go back again.
Food was cold and service was slow. They were obviously understaffed on a Sunday AM over a football game. Good is generally good but this particular day they were off all around. We were served cold coffee after waiting a longtime for a refill. Iced tea wasn’t brewed and ready at 12 noon. The fried egg my daughter ordered was cold so I asked for a replacement and the server said she took both eggs off for me. Ummmm we only ordered one and it was not cooked properly to begin with but thanks. We had to wait a long time for everything. This was the final visit for us.
Went here for brunch. The first mimosa was great, the second was all juice. Our server was nice enough to add more champagne after we said something. The carmel rolls to share were great! The croque madame was meh, needs more ham, only one thin slice.
It was our first time trying this place out and the man at the door was extremely rude, the service was not attentive. I am a server, I know how the steps of service works and the wait staff does not care about the guest perception or hospitality. Do not go here if you are looking for a pleasant experience from the staff. Food and presentation of the food was great, but the way the host spoke to us made us want to leave before we even got to the table...
I know we aren't super fancy or rich but we were dressed nicely and I feel like they treated us like we were a burden. When little do they know, I always leave 20-25% tip. Definitely will warn people about this place.
Had a great experience. Went for brunch with a group. The food was good, bottomless mimosas! Our server Andrew was great as well. Would recommend.
I really enjoyed the food & the atmosphere. Our waitress was fantastic & very personable. Just bummed that you can't get the bottomless Bloody Mary's & Mimosas on the rooftop. I will definitely return to Libertine in addition to recommending it to others.
We were looking for a fun place to go to brunch. Libertine fit the bill perfectly. I even ordered something quite different than usual, the chicken and waffles. Really good. Service was great we were able to be seated right away. We will go back and enjoy their beautiful roof top.
I ordered the pastrami salmon benedict and I didn't really taste pastrami seasoning as it said. Also, the pieces of salmon were extremely tiny, the poached eggs were bigger than the salmon. Not worth $13, maybe $10. The eggs were perfectly poached though. My cousin ordered scrambled eggs without the crab, still cost $13 which is a little crazy. The side of hashbrowns was $9 and was the size of a small pie with cheese inside. Overall I was really unimpressed with brunch here. The menu looked so promising but it was really disappointing.
Service was incredibly slow and poor. Had to get our own water refills and when asked for a simple modification to a meal to accommodate a vegetarian, we were told no. Bartender was also incredibly rude. Not returning.
Our server was very attentive and able to meet our requests in a timely manner.
Casual lunch, good service but loud
Our waiter was awesome. I really enjoyed the food. Going back this weekend with some friends
Brunch was so good! Brought my mother there for Mother's Day and she really enjoyed it!
Paid $23 for a hard cider and one cocktail. Yikes. We were shown our table and didn't have a server even stop by to say hi for over 20 minutes. They just kept walking right on by. In fact, no one stopped by at all. We got up and left. Also, they discontinued the best thing on the menu- the fried chicken. It's almost as if they are trying to go out of business. Won't be going there again.
It started with the host telling us there was only one server for the entire restaurant... we should have left then, but we thought we would give it a try. 10 minutes in and she came by to take our drink and food order. I asked for iced tea and she said "no" with zero explanation. My dining partner asked for a beer with olives and it came with no olives. The reason... the entire restaurant was out of olives. Don't ask for ranch because they don't have that either. We ordered burgers. Both arrived with a lot of pink in the middle and pink juice coming out them. After sending them back, the manager came and apologized, took the burgers off the bill, and explained that they were being remade. The burgers came again, mine was fine, but my dining partners burger was still bloody and disgusting. The manager never came back around, even after the waitress took his burger and showed it to him for the second time. The excuses provided by the server at the end were ridiculous: new kitchen staff and a language barrier. If that's the case, shut down to train and open again another day. We apologized to her and explained that it wasn't her fault. Her comment was that she would still "get yelled at" for it anyways. That's really sad if that is the culture and it explains the terrible experience. We won't be back! This is not typical for Parasole restaurants.
After learning the day before our date-night reservation that the restaurant closed about a month ago and changed from fine dining to a "rec room" bar scene, we were disappointed about what we were walking into - but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. Despite the menu being very short and more bar-centric and app-heavy, the actual entree menu had a good mix of options and the foot was delightful. Their crafted cocktails were also well-done - and even though it's toted as a "rec room" - it felt more like a modern bar which also happened to have darts and ping-pong tables. We were seated by the window, which had open-air garage doors (with screens) and thoroughly enjoyed our service and experience!
Table tennis was awesome for my high energy boys. Food was great. Great atmosphere.
Had a reservation and was seated. Sat there for about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. The waiter didn't even greet us, filled 3 out of the 7 glasses with water then walked away. Sat there for about another 20 minutes then we had to go look for a waiter to take our order. Ordered our food. They brought out the food and started putting the plates in front of everyone... but not to the right person. Didn't say anything as they did it, then walked away. There was 3 orders for burgers, 2 well done and 1 medium, only 1 was well done. At that time, someone ordered a drink and the waiter never came back with it. 20 minutes later the manager walked by and he came back with it within seconds. Not one time was there an apology from the server. We saw her going to tables around us, but never came to us. We were seated by the ping pong tables, so balls were constantly flying at us while we're trying to enjoy dinner. One time there was even a ball that landed in our food. Disgusting. Didn't finish that dish Not sure who thought it was a good idea to have ping pong tables right in front of people trying to eat. First and last time here. Wrong place to celebrate my birthday.
Great place to go have some fun! A bit more spendy than usually for me but everything was awesome.
Great food, great drinks, great fun. Ping Pong tables, skeet-ball, darts. Big changes = big fun!
More of a bar than a reataurant
We were seated for 25 mins and hadn't received our drinks or even water from the server. It wasn't that busy. Only thing i would recommend about this location is the rooftop patio because the view is great.
I booked date night here based on the information and photos of the food on the internet. We had made reservations booked in open table and when we had arrived, they apologized and said that they didn't have a table left for us. I glanced over at the computer and saw that we were on the computer for 7:15, as it was that time. They then ran around and looked for somewhere else to place us and brought us to a huge table that would accommodate about eight to ten people. I looked at the host and said that this was date night and I was really hoping for a nice table for two as I booked. We then we're placed back in the waiting area to wait for something to open up. I don't think that they payed any attention at all to reservations that people booked on line to accommodate them. Once we arrived at our table I was really thrown off. None of the items on the menus matched the information or photos that were posted on the internet. ????????? I asked the waitress what was going on and she replied that the restaurant had changed some time ago and that they had a totally different menu and theme because the old one had failed. Although I was disappointed and thrown off by this, we decided to stay and give it a shot. This was so posed to be a special date night for us, at what I believed to be a really classy restaurant with amazing food. Instead we were at first told that they couldn't accommodate us even though we booked reservations on open table, the restaurant didn't match the photos on line and either did the food. Big disappointment. False advertising!!!!!!!!
Place has changed a lot; the menu is limited and it is more of a game room now than a restaurant. For younger crowd. Food is still very good but not as many choices
Good but unoriginal food but too noisy for comfortable conversation
Mixed results, but worth it. Brunch for 5 on Easter. French toast, crab egg scramble, salmon egg benedicts, and napa chard all very good. Swedish crepes mediocre. Hash browns great, but ordered too much. Pom Mimosa was very good. Service was average. Also the doors were open and the room temperature felt too cold - 65 degrees. Need to keep them shut until it's at least 70 outside.
I chose this restaurant because I saw on MSN it was rated one of the best steakhouses. Well there was only one steak on the menu that I saw and it was average at best. Even cooked medium rare, it was still a little tough. The potatoes that went with it were delicious. The punch bowl drink was very good too. We went with some young adults in their early 20"s and they loved the games that were available for them to play. I didn't try the dessert because I didn't see anything that appealed to me. Overall I would say this is a great place for young people. I don't know if us "seasoned citizens" would enjoy it as much.
They recently changed a bunch of the decor and cleaved the menu in half. Miss some of the menu items that kept me coming back.
Great food, Guant donut was a hit with the kids, soft-scrambled eggs were amazing!!
