Libertine is Uptown’s rec room – a neighborhood bar where the food and drink are serious, but everything else is a game. From skee-ball and foosball to board games, ping pong and Jenga, Libertine was created for people who want more than a TV screen for entertainment. Here singles, couples and groups come together for a wide range of games and activities combined with kick-ass drinks and a menu that puts freezer-to-fryer bar food to shame. The range of activities and breadth of the menu make Libertine a true neighborhood hangout.

Great pace, plenty to do inside.
Only bad was, wanted to be on at outdoor patio for sister party and they could not sit us.
Food does not have much flavor, but its good.

We have been to Libertine several times to celebrate birthdays with dinner . We reserved thinking this would be another one of thise amazing birthday dinners . We were very disappointed the meal menu was changed to accommodate more college patrons. We ended up leaving after our party of 8 was complete . There were so many loud people there in the spare room it seemed like a huge fraternity party . We won’t return anytime soon .

Restaurant Alma was delicious. The food was great, staff was attentive, and service was quick.

Libertine felt like a run down youth group center with sticky tables. Additionally, we sat there for 15 minutes and didn't even get served water.

Small menu and terrible service. The food came out cold and took 20 minutes to get the check. Had a good time playing ping pong though.

Good vibe! There was something fun happening in all corners of the restaurant! Games, large table gatherings, small tables for conversation/dining. We loved the Poke and the lamb and Brie burger. Great drinks menu, too.

Extremely loud. Limited menu and the food we ordered was very mediocre. Probably good place for Happy Hour.

We had a reservation but we had to wait a few minutes, but I was okay with that, as the wait was short. Everything was good, just had a few service issues. The first time food was brought out, they forgot my pancakes, then it was brought out and it wasn't right. I ordered a stack of pancakes and they had only brought one out the second try. I was starved, had already started nibbling on my guests food and didn't want to want for them to go back and redo it, so I just had the one pancake.

The waiter was really apologetic, and didn't charge me for the 1 pancake at least. I usually have good service, as this is why I bought my guest here because past visits have been good. Not sure what was going on this day though.

Had a great time Saturday for brunch. Good options, although limited brunch menu. Good drinks - I had a beer and also their version of Strip and Go Naked. I enjoyed the fact that after we ate, my friend and I were able to go sit down on a couch inside Libertine and play Nintendo 64. It was a nice transition after the meal to go straight into hanging out. I think it'd be great for first date ice breakers.

We were a group of 11 with an additional 2 infants. We had to increase the number of people 2x and Libertine was extremely accommodating. Fun games available which was great for the toddler we had with us. Food was very good. Service was very good. Only complaint was the Bloody Marys were advertised as spicy but were in fact bland.

Excellent for brunch... I'm guessing their night scene is pretty great as well. Hard to choose from so many great breakfast choices! Our group of ten was well taken care of by all staff. It was fun to have choices of active games such as ping pong as well as table games - they have a great selection, and we brought our own. We'll be back!

My family had Easter brunch here. We weren’t expecting anything fancy and knew it would be a relaxed environment, so that aspect was fine. The food just wasn’t very good-nothing was especially wrong with it, but the 5 of us were underwhelmed. Our server, Lauren, was great, however, and we had a blast playing board games. If you don’t have terribly high food expectations and want a fun, vibrant atmosphere, Libertine is a fun place.

Little disappointed. Don't go by the brunch menu online, it's not the same. I also spent half my brunch throwing ping pong balls back at those playing when they missed and would hit my legs. Would be a fun place to have drinks and play games but not a brunch I would return to.

When we were sat for our reservation - we discovered there was only one server in our area and there was a huge table of 25 or so people that were just getting their order taken, plus other tables.

My husband inquired if there was another section that might not be so busy for our 5 guests and we were told there wasn't - so the manager recommended a few other places near by that we may want to try and then he said he'd wait on us. We definitely acted like he felt he was being put out by this, but he did wait on us the entire time and gave us good service.

Brunch menu has changed (not necessarily for the better). Clearly aimed at a much younger audience now with higher noise levels, more games and TVs, heavier, more fried food. Too bad. This was one of our go to places for
Brunch. Will find something else, but with the closing of coup d’état, Lucia’s, and now the change here, options in uptown are becoming limited.

Libertine was great for brunch, I will be returning soon. The bottomless mimosa package was middle of the road price wise, but the server kept them filled and you get to choose a flavor for your first mimosa. It’s pretty noisy since they have large board games and a bar on the other side of the restaurant but it wasn’t too bad. They play good music and the atmosphere is extremely fun if you’re going for a casual brunch with good food and drinks

The service and everything were good. Even though I found a hair strand in my food while I was almost finished, the waitress was nice enough to give me a whole new meal again to replace it. Not only did she replaced me with a whole new meal but she give me discount as well. I was grateful for it. This was a great experience with a group of my friends. We all enjoyed our time there. The environment was peaceful and great. The play room was fun. Love this place. Will be back some time in the future.

This was a dismal experience. From the disappointing service, rigid menu with no vegetarian options and huge over sized portions to the missing locks on the bathroom stalls and empty toilet paper and hand towel dispensers, the brunch was a disaster.

I liked the music and atmosphere... the word trendy comes to mind. The mimosas were delicious with just the right amount of juice, excellent pour bartender! Try pineapple you won't regret it... just wish the bottomless wasn't only OJ, but eyyy $16 is pretty damn good. We liked the tatter bacon hash, the steak n eggs was good but steak was small for me... service was ok didn't see the waitress much and she forgot to tell us bottomless ended at 3pm... but overall the employees we encoutered had good attidudes. We would definitely go back again.

Food was cold and service was slow. They were obviously understaffed on a Sunday AM over a football game. Good is generally good but this particular day they were off all around. We were served cold coffee after waiting a longtime for a refill. Iced tea wasn’t brewed and ready at 12 noon. The fried egg my daughter ordered was cold so I asked for a replacement and the server said she took both eggs off for me. Ummmm we only ordered one and it was not cooked properly to begin with but thanks. We had to wait a long time for everything. This was the final visit for us.

Went here for brunch. The first mimosa was great, the second was all juice. Our server was nice enough to add more champagne after we said something. The carmel rolls to share were great! The croque madame was meh, needs more ham, only one thin slice.

It was our first time trying this place out and the man at the door was extremely rude, the service was not attentive. I am a server, I know how the steps of service works and the wait staff does not care about the guest perception or hospitality. Do not go here if you are looking for a pleasant experience from the staff. Food and presentation of the food was great, but the way the host spoke to us made us want to leave before we even got to the table...
I know we aren't super fancy or rich but we were dressed nicely and I feel like they treated us like we were a burden. When little do they know, I always leave 20-25% tip. Definitely will warn people about this place.

We were looking for a fun place to go to brunch. Libertine fit the bill perfectly. I even ordered something quite different than usual, the chicken and waffles. Really good. Service was great we were able to be seated right away. We will go back and enjoy their beautiful roof top.

I ordered the pastrami salmon benedict and I didn't really taste pastrami seasoning as it said. Also, the pieces of salmon were extremely tiny, the poached eggs were bigger than the salmon. Not worth $13, maybe $10. The eggs were perfectly poached though. My cousin ordered scrambled eggs without the crab, still cost $13 which is a little crazy. The side of hashbrowns was $9 and was the size of a small pie with cheese inside. Overall I was really unimpressed with brunch here. The menu looked so promising but it was really disappointing.
