Exciting food that was beautifully presented and served. Can't wait to return.
The food wasn’t Fantastic, would go for a quick bit but wouldn’t expect a fabulous dining experience. I also wouldn’t expect much help from the wait staff with items on the menu. Seems like they weren’t prepared properly to answer menu questions.
Food was well presented but, doesn’t taste good, below par with other French restaurants we’ve been to
Bland food, dry fish, ate there because we stayed at Hotel. Bar was very lively
Service was painfully slow and absent. Hotel catered 2 weddings that evening and I suspect staff was busy attending those. Bad resource planning from hotel/restaurant
Manager felt badly and offered free dinner to us as well as a much larger party sitting next to us...
We were looking forward to philly restaurant week, but the experience at liberte was not pleasant!
Their menu for restaurant week could not accommodate vegetarians!!!! They could not create an alternative for us! Their online menu was outdated. In this day and age the restaurant was not even apologetic for not obliging vegetarians. Not sure if I would ever go again, let alone recommend to friends.
Really enjoyed the restaurant week menu! Ordered the pork belly Brüssel sprouts, which was a beautiful combination. Some of the Brussels sprouts had the crunchy leaves on the outside which are my favorite, but not too many did, so it was a good combo of moist and soft vs moist and crunchy. The portion for the appetizer was extremely large, so definitely got my money’s worth. For the entree I ordered the rock shrimp sandwich, which came with French fries! The rock shrimp andouille filling went into a well made baguette, and had a nice balance of shrimp to sausage to pickled red pepper. There was also a green herb, which I think was parsley that balanced the flavors out. Overall the sandwich was a little light on filling, but I honestly couldn’t have eaten the entire thing if it had been packed more densely. Definitely come hungry! The coffee panna cotta with chocolate covered espresso beans was maybe my favorite part of the whole meal. Perfect balance of sweet to milk to coffee, will 100% order again
Exvellent service, perfect martinis and delicious cuisine. Will definitely return !
The service was excellent. The food could have been warmer and the side of potatoes need a bit more flavor. Overall the experience was great.
Fabulous staff, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food! I took my mom for brunch, was a lovely afternoon.
This is a perfect place for a get-together. My girlfriend and I have come here 2 years in a row for a gathering. It’s now an annual thing to close out the summer season. Very nice staff. Miguel is amazing! I like the lounge area better than the restaurant but the food is excellent every time.
Service was great! Food was fantastic! Great experience!
We were very pleasantly surprised. The Eggs Benedict options were great. I had the Crab Benedict which was delicious. Our server, Miguil was gracious and very accommodating. Would definitely come back!
The food was so good! Atmosphere was great. Our waiter was excellent, he really catered to us, which is not the usual service a group of seven 24-year-olds get! Absolutely would recommend and definitely will be going back.
Liberte Lounge brunch was served in another dining room the day we went. No problem. The room was nice and comfortable. The service from the host to the server and the managers was great. Many varieties of eggs Benedict and few other entrees. We each had eggs Benedict and they were excellent. Unlimited Bloody Marys and mimosas were great too! and the fresh baked croissants added a special touch.
Great brunch with mimosa/bloody mary bar. Miguel is a great server! Will return
Wonderful eggs benedict selections, cooked perfectly. I am gluten free and they even had bread they used instead of an english muffin. We enjoyed the mimosa and bloody mary bar. But by far was our waiter, Miguil, who was attentive and good natured. He even got me a gluten free blueberry muffin. Very nice experience
Food and service were excellent. The only negative comment is the "make your own bloody mary" bar. There was no such thing. Neither the staff nor the bar tender seemed to know how it worked. Since the special was going on since June and we were there in August, you would think they would have had it down pat. They wait staff did, however, make sure we had the full 2 hour bar service and were very attentive as to any "refills" we requested.
It took a while to get seated and the service was a little spotty, but with that being said it was a wonderful experience for brunch and really fun. the bottomless mimosas/bloodys are a great deal and the food was delicious. I would absolutely be back for their brunch deal.
Food was excellent and drinks yummy...excellent deal for the money! Issue was service: our server was pleasant enough but failed to adequately explain the entrees, so we ordered one variety when we could have ordered two. Server was also very inattentive for the majority of our visit, then became chatty after another larger table he was waiting on had left. We had way better service and attention from the person who delivered our food and from another wait staff member there that day.
Beautiful place and great service. First time there and definitely not my last.
Very accommodating with mix up in reservation. The kitchen went ahead and prepared our afternoon tea altho we were told improper tme of start of that service
We dined at Liberte Lounge on July 13th. The food was exceptional and the service was impeccable. One of our servers was Chris and he made our experience extraordinary. He went out of his way to attend to all our needs. He even sent complimentary macarons to our room .I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Went for brunch on Saturday. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary. Definitely would not been where we eaten had we not purchased the TravelZoo coupon.
it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and accommodating especially our waiter, Miguil . The food was excellent as well. We will be returning.
Went for brunch. Staff very friendly! Turkey BLT was good! Wife enjoyed short rib with salmon. Mimosas good. Bloody Mary a little too spicy. Nice ambience.
This is a lounge in a hotel. We didn't end up eating because it took a while for our server to appear and we left. This is a bad review but we had a bad experience.
Tea with my mom
The Afternoon Tea was PURFECT
Server was not friendly and overall it was not a good experience. Food was good but won’t go back again
I would suggest not doing an afternoon Tea. The service was excellent everything else very mediocre.
Food selection needs to be more diverse, the emphasis on sweet was OK but we would have preferred more savories. Second pot of tea (hot water) did not brew well.
On my to go list to stay. We very much enjoyed this tea. I highly recommend. Being handicapped accessible helped provide a wonderful day for someone that typically cannot attend most events. My Aunt loved it as well as myself, my cousin and my mother. Thank you for creating a wonderful memory.
Our wait person was professional, enthusiastic and friendly. The sandwiches were very good and the pastries excellent.
I bought a TravelZoo voucher for tea at the Liberty Lounge for my mother asa gift. We arrived early and were able to be seated, which was a nice surprise! The server was print and went over our options for tea. All four people got their own individual pot of tea along with a glass of champagne or a mimosa. They brought out a tower of fu get foods for us to eat, with one of each thing for each person to have. The food, drinks and ambiance was all very nice. It was well worth the price, coupon or not. We will definitely go back again!
My mom and I had a WONDERFUL time at tea. Deija was amazing and very knowledgeable. She absolutely enhanced our day !
Afternoon tea at Chez Colette - an extension of the Liberte Lounge - was an enjoyable and delightful time spent with my family. My teenagers loved it. We are thankful for the experience and recommend this to everyone.
Beautiful ambiance, great drinks and the food for test time was delicious! We would do it again and again! A excellent experience worth having with a friend or large group!
Excellent work Sofitel!
Liberte is one of my favorite places... the service is always excellent... the servers are always friendly...
High Tea was not held at the
Liberte Lounge, but at the Chez Colette, also within the Sofitel. It was quite nice, with Parisian teas from Palais de Thes. The Earl Grey was gentle and smooth. Tea sandwiches were hearty as far as tea sandwiches go, with a touch of Philly flavor. The pastries were about as good as any I've had in Paris patisseries. Lemon curd and Devonshire cream were delightful. The ambiance was laid back, and our server Deija was very friendly and knowledgeable of teas. We went on a Friday afternoon, so it was relatively quiet and not crowded. We left feeling quite satisfied. If you like high tea, but prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, then this is for you. I look forward to returning in the near future.
Not quite a traditional tea but still nice. Scones are good. Sandwiches and desserts are okay. Atmosphere makes up for the food. It is quite and relaxing.
