The food was great. The set menu was good value for money but the drinks and the 12.5% service charge for 2 diners certainly increased the bill significantly. Social distancing needs some work. Although all the staff wore masks the tables were far too close together and not much attention was place on spacing us all out as there were empty tables.
Would not recommend, the place is average for the price
My favourite place for date night
Lovely food and great atmosphere on the terrace ,
First time there. Brilliant and tasty food. Made to feel very welcome will definitely be head back there.
Waited over an hour for our food, and when we asked several times how long it would take, they repeatedly dismissed us and did not provide us with an answer. Food was alright, but a bit expensive for the amount of food that you actually get. The only thing that made my experience somewhat eventful was the ambience - it was very pretty actually, no music which was calming and was provided with blankets and heaters which was great. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be coming back, in fact I won’t.
A couple of dishes we wanted to order were off the menu so we had to settle for 2nd choices. The food was delicious though.
Cocktails are amazing and food is good you have to speak to the waiter for adjustments if you are vegan because most thing even vegetarian dishes contain dairy. The drinks took some time to come so we ordered our starter and main together as service is quite slow. The Terrace dining was great was sheltered and the heaters keep you warm, they also provide blankets which is a nice touch. The decor is beautiful they had a lovely flower wall which made for some gorgeous instagramable pictures lol. Will definitely go again. Ambience 10/10 had a great birthday dinner there.
Excellent food with great service!
Freezing cold, we requested for the hearing to be turned up and got the answer of “not today”. Two ladies then turn up behind us and they got the heater turned on and moved next to them? Interesting. The servers were not attentive; we had to constantly get their attention although it was quiet. The food was decent but the temperature wasn’t as hot as it should be.
They overbooked themselves, service was extremely slow. The food wasn’t very nice at all (avoid the set menus, every dish tastes exactly the same and horrible).
We ordered a set menu which includes a dessert, however once they brought out the starters plates we asked if this was everything as there was quite a few plates and they said yes so we ordered an additional rice. Once we almost finished this, we asked the waiter as he was clearing the plates if we could have the dessert. Once we had finished our desserts then another waiter come over and said “oh you’ve had your dessert already, I have your main course here”. We did not realise there was more food coming as when we asked the waiter originally he said this was all of the set menu hence why we ordered the additional rice and we couldn’t understand why they would bring us the dessert if they knew there was more food coming? He then offered to box it up for us to take away we declined and said we will try some of it now. We tried the mains and again the food was not nice at all, it had the same sauce that they used on all of the starter dishes (which was really horrible). We asked to speak to the manager if we could have some money off the bill, to which he agreed and also said we could have a free drink. Then the waiter come over with the bill (they had not reduced the bill at all, all they did was take off the service charge) I explained this to the waiter but he got very angry and said no they have taken the service charge off to which I explained the service charge is discretionary and after the food and service today we would not be paying the service charge anyway plus the manager said he would discount the bill . Basically the whole experience was one big palaver, the waiter was very rude and getting quite loud. Then the manager came over and backtracked on what he said he was also trying to say that he would only take the service charge off??? In the end, they took the service charge and 11 pound off
In summary, food was good, the prices were okay for what was sects but the service was appalling. We spent 4 hours in there while waiting for our meals and we only went for a lunch. This needs to be improved.
Booked this restaurant last minute and made the right choice .
We are out weird because of the Covid restrictions. Weather was sunny and warm so was very lucky we booked that day . Food was tasty just a touch pricey .
The service want great took over 30 mins to get served so could do with getting that sorted .
Overall I would come back again
Very nice setting and interesting menu with plenty of choice.
If they had enough staff this place could do very well.
Given all tables must be booked in advance they should be prepared.
With 12.5% service charge to the bill must do better.
I have never been more disgusted in my life. We arrived to Liban Tapas and was pleasantly surprised by their ‘grammable’ terrace. Beautifully decorated with plentiful heaters and blankets. We thought we’d found a perfect spot!
Then we ordered some wine. It took 30 minutes to arrive and it was clear we had been forgotten as everyone else around us who arrived at a similar time was on their starters if not early mains!
We asked for the wine and it then arrived by the Manager who I believe may be one of the owners. An older, Asian Male (to ensure the right manager is spoken to). He had our wine but was about to place it on another table when his waitress said ‘it’s for the girls over here’. He, clearly embarrassed, said ‘shut up you stupid girl’ in a patronising, aggressive, misogynistic and outright disrespectful way. I called him out on it and asked if he had just told one of his waiting staff to shut up because he made a mistake and he said ‘yes, did you hear her? She’s a stupid girl’. He tutted and walked off, all tables around me disgusted by the outburst.
I was ready to leave by my friend asked to stay for the mediocre food which I couldn’t then enjoy. All night I watched as he stuck his finger in the faces of the young, female, subordinate waiting staff - shouting, screaming and being an all round disgusting man.
Even better, he shouted in everyone’s faces - mine too - without a mask on. The mask he had around his chin while serving the entire time.
The food could have been brilliant but it wasn’t nor would it be enough to make me return to a restaurant managed by such a sexist man.
Not worth the money. The service was very slow, had to call and remind the staff each time an order for a drink was made.
Fantastic food as always. Management are always friendly. Will definitely be back.
The manager was rude and provided terrible service. Do not go there
Lamb was about chewy but the ambiance and service was good.
Given the tier 2 restrictions in London, the outdoor heated terrace is a fabulous option. The decor is brilliant.
The food however, didn’t match up to expectations. Tomato ketchup and brown sauce were served as dips. Starters were okay though a little bland. The salad was fresh and tasty. We ordered the platters & the meat platter only had 1x lamb chop (when there was 2 of everything else) and the veggie main didn’t seem enough for 2 people.
I felt it definetly wasn’t value for money given for 4 people, the cost was over £250.
The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.
We regret not locating the manager and flagging our concerns.
We sat in the outside terrace in December due to Covid. The venue is really nice and plenty of heaters to keep you warm. The service was good, we had 6 tapas dishes, some of them were nice, some ok, and some not nice. Had the mixed grill for the main and it was ok but nothing special. The food was most definitely overpriced.
Had a lovely meal, food delicious, staff very attentive will definitely return
The hummus with chicken was excellent and so was the nanza, fattoush- nice but I have had better.
All in all lovely food, thought mint tea was a bit expensive for what it was and went cold too quickly in the traditional pot
Really great menu and loved having both middle eastern and Indian tastes. Staff were very attentive, one was clearly new but was still professional and polite and the other waitress very knowledgeable. They also make a mean pornstar martini!
Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.
It took a long time to be seated, the tables are very small (Too small to fit mezze and wine so they had to store our wine at the till- then it nearly got taken away by another staff member) and close together. Had to ask repeatedly for a drinks list and the main course didn’t arrive after an hour. We were given dessert menus after our starter and had to tell the staff that we were still waiting for main. Ended up paying for what we had and leaving without main course.
Had a lovely time and were given a complimentary glass of prosecco for Husbands birthday, service was excellent. Would recommend.
This place is just amazing! We return regularly and it never fails to be a lovely evening! The staff are outstanding here with the service, so warm and welcoming, lovely interior and love the outside terrace. The food is just outstanding! So tasty and fresh. Can not recommend enough.
Nice restaurant with interesting libanese and Indian menu (?)
Possibly a bit too crowded for this pandemic time and definitely far too noisy.
It's a good to try it out once! Nice place to look at and be in but the food wasn't too great
Quite expensive, but food was very nice, staff were friendly and helpful. Would go again.
An amazing evening from the start to the end. Will definitely come back
Shisha was good as always
And the Indian addition to the menu was very very nice
See you soon again liban
Absolutely gorgeous food and great, attentive service.
The MD went out of his way to make it a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back:-)
The service and food was terrible. It took over 2 hours for the staff to tell us one of our starters had ran out then the mains were overpriced and had no condiments. They added service charge and tried to charge us for a starters that we never got. Will not be returning!!
Empty restaurant...basic menu available...drinks took 25 minutes to arrive and then the waitress dropped the tray! Starters were good not great. The mains were tasteless.
Not bad food was ok, but nothing special, I would not go again, because it was not worth the money.
Worst tasting food ever at a restaurant. Rice was undercooked and hard. Mixed grill was dry as hell and seemed old. Something that comes off the grill should not be that dry considering all the fat and oil the meat should be releasing. Paid £70 for 1 starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks. I’ve paid less in more exclusive restaurants with better tasting foods. Will never go back.
The restaurant food offered were excellent when they first started however the food price has increased and the quality has dropped.
For instance , the basic homous mezze is lacking tahini and it is not smooth as it should . The lamb shanks were obviously reheated and the chicken tauk was very salted . Not to mention that the salad was not dressed and to be honest was really very small portion.
The service was quick however the staff is not wearing masks which could be helpful and nice to minimise Covid 19 risk .
Very average food, very overpriced. Not worth the money.
Fantastic food and service, will definitely be going there again.
