   Worst steak ever Not fresh bake potato one day old or more For many what we paid I expect to eat through the food not junk. Simple Junk I don’t recommend nobody to go there. They want to be fancy but they don’t deserve that. OK bye-bye stay stay there see stop alarm.

   We went to Liam’s last night, March 15 and was very disappointing. We have been to this restaurant many times but last night the service was very poor. The steak and lobster was very poor quality. The steak was tough as steak as I’ve had anywhere, and the lobster came to our table, cold, and the butter wouldn’t even melted, I guess will have to go back to F &B for a a good steak when we’re on the island

   The best thing about the restaurant was the chocolate dessert. We were charged for extra bread. Outrageous. The steak was mediocre at best and extremely over priced. Out of the wine we ordered, no substitute. Waitress told us two sides came with the specialty area, asked about 2 of the salmon dishes she said, oh the sides don't come with these, ??? She just said they did. She never asked if we wanted another glass of wine. Service from this waitress quite lacking. I have eaten there several times and always come away feeling the same. If we go back, it will just be for the dessert.

    Excellent menu and wine selections. Our meals were delicious and well prepared. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Our window table went over well with our out of town guest.

    We had the snapper Rockefeller and the flounder Veracruz. Both were delicious The fish and shrimp were fresh and fillets were large . we could not finish the accompanying sides after eating the entrees. Service was terrific We will return on our next trip and would highly recommend it for excellent seafood.

    For the price the food was not worth it. Steak was just ok, fish was good but very small portion of fish plate was mostly veggie and rice. Steak sandwich was fatty and tough. Dessert was good, wait staff was good also.

    We had a wonderful experience. Our red snapper meal and prime rib meal were great. I asked for medium on the prime rib and it came out just what I wanted. The red snapper was cooked like my wife liked it. Noise level was quiet. Yea for us old people.

    Arrived about 45 minutes early and got some cocktails from the bar and enjoyed the sunset on the patio. The hostess came and got us at 7:15 the time of our reservation. The food was wonderful and the meal was at a nice pace. Everything was par excellance!

    Valentine’s Day. Food was outstanding. Waitress very attentive. Gorgeous sunset as we ate by the window. Had the stuffed flounder. Portion was such that I couldn’t even finish it, there was so much. No room for the delicious looking desserts! Price seemed very reasonable for the quality and quantity.

    The food was excellent, as always, although the prime rib dinner, which I had my heart set on, was unavailable the night we went. Also the chocolate desert cake, which we usually order for desert was not nearly as good as previously. Totally different desert. Nonetheless, overall the meal was excellent and the Oysters Rockerfeller appetizer was awesome.

    My meal was amazing, flounder almondy! Unfortunately my husbands was not. We r winter Texans and eat at Liam’s at least 3 -4 times in 2 months. We have always raved and been very pleased with EVERYTHING about Liam’s! My husband always orders the lobster. Last night his meal was Luke warm, the lobster had a funny taste to it. His potato and mushrooms were barely warm! Unfortunately I didn’t ask him until halfway thru how his meal was and then he told me. He should have said something sooner and told the wait staff. I told him to tell his waiter, whom was very good about the food, but he didn’t. And I had to take our tired granddaughter out to the car, otherwise I would have gently said something so y’all know. We will come back as one bad time should not be the reason to stop going! My son said his was also luke warm, but very good! Thank you!

    -Ordered Red Snapper Musette, $28 -Fish tasted real fishy. -Red Snapper should be light flaky and not at all fishy -Ordered Seafood Primavera $29 -Only three shrimp, two of five mussels were empty and clams were small. -Alfredo sauce was runny and not real creamy. Ambiance was nice, bay view was nice, service was good. Food quality was disappointing for the cost. Maybe just a one time occurrence???

    The oysters and flounder had a fishy flavor..,not good in my book… my husband didn’t mind it but I do as I only like VERY fresh seafood…and I prepare and eat these dishes frequently…ambience is too dark for me…

    This was our first time to South Padre and Liam’s was on the list of restaurants recommended by several friends. I ordered a martini up with a lemon twist (no vermouth). The waiter brought olives on the side & no lemon twist & it tasted like it had vermouth. The wines by the list was very unimpressive. The Red snapper was just ok & same for the Ribeye. Great ambiance but otherwise nothing special.

    We come here every three months. Never had a bad experience. They were out of prime rib, fresh crab, and the steak came out raw when we ordered medium. Nothing but excuses and apologies. In my youth, I was a waiter and bar tender. You advise the customer when you are out of something before they order it. I watched our waitress repeat the same error, letting customers order things you don't have. In excusable for a restaurant of this quality.
