Our party had flounder, steak, and fried shrimp. All entrees were delicious. The sides were tasty and cooked perfectly. Not sure why, but my baked potato was awesome.. Best tater ever!! Desserts were killer as well. Expect to pay premium prices but the experience is well worth the costs. And by all means make reservations; this place is very popular. Customer service is top notch as well. Everyone deserves to experience Liams at South Padre Island at least once!!!

We had the blackened shrimp alfredo and bacon wrapped shrimp they were both amazing hot and delicious! The service was impeccable very helpful. And the ambiance was the best right on the water beautiful night light music in the background at sunset it was a perfect evening! We will definitely go back to this restaurant!

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend on South Padre Island and enjoyed an awesome dinner on the dock watching the sun set over the bay. The food was magnificent and the staff was superb with a great presentation.

Liams steakhouse was amazing the second my wife and I got there. It’s was a beautiful place to sit outside by the laguna for our honeymoon dinner. Crab cakes were delicious, my stuffed flounder was excellent and the wife’s filet was cooked to perfection. Our waiter John was outstanding and hope to have him again when we go back.

Lots of by the window tables where we were not seated that were empty. Food OK but not great.

We ended up here for our anniversary after our initial plans fell through. We had a table steps from the water and got to watch the sunset over the bay. The food was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. The prices are high but if you're looking for that special splurge, Liam's is the place to go!

There was a fowl very loud mouth woman sitting with husband and son on the upper deck two tables from us. She was stopping people as they walked by obviously drunk. I have been in the restaurant business, this behavior was unacceptable. This activity lasted for some time and affected the folks sitting on the lower deck. They should have been asked to leave.
Waterside seating was a delight! Our waiter, Bany, was top notch in every way.
Had a seat on the patio. Everything was excellent. The bomb for dessert was a blast!
We have dined many times at Liam’s Steakhouse and Oyster Bar; however, it was our first time back since the pandemic and it was good to see that business is thriving once again on the island.
As in the past, our dining experience at Liam's was exceptional where we celebrated both of our birthdays (mine in September; spouse in October). Managers - Daniel (Danny) Fernandez and Joseph Garcia ensured that our reservations were as requested – early seating, window table, wait-staff: Johnny or Joe.
We are very selective of restaurants that offer “steaks and seafood” that meet our expectations. Liam’s is one that does! On both occasions, Johnny spouse opted for the Stuffed Flounder, grilled asparagus and shared a baked potato. Later we were presented with a complimentary “Chocolate Bomb” dessert – it was a perfect way to end a remarkable birthday dinner celebration.
Again, the service was impeccable and we look forward to dining there next year!

First time to visit. Nice interior and bayside location. Service was attentive; we had a trainee server who was closely assisted by her mentor. Food was inconsistent in execution but flavorful. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was too cheesy, the seafood stuffing was excellent. Unfortunately, the salmon entree was overcooked. The other entree, a stuffed flounder was delicious. The broccoli was undercooked.
The dessert, baked Alaska, was underwhelming but the tableside prep was nicely done.
Food and service was amazing! Was running a little late for my reservation and with no hesitations they accommodated us. Will definitely be back soon 👍
We can’t wait to go back! The food went beyond our expectations, our server was perfect, and the outside dock seating was just what we wanted.
The hostess didn’t want to sit us anywhere that we wanted and said all the seats where reserved even though they weren’t. She sat us next to a bunch of crying babies then got upset when we asked to sit outside and sat us in the table that’s pretty much almost outside the restaurant. We had to get a manager to get us an okay seat. Again, there were MANY empty seats that well had social distancing. Waitress and food were good but that was a terrible experience and there were lots and lots of mosquitos. They provided spray but that was about it. They should have some sort of torch type repellent outside instead of having us spray with stinky mosquito repellant.

Made reservations to be seated outside several days prior to our meal, when we arrived we were told that our reservation was not for outside and nothing was available. However several tables remained empty and unused outside. Service was ok but slow at times, food was good.
We all had seafood, cocktails and appetizers.
The waiter provided everything exactly the way we requested and needed. It was a near perfect even. Every member of the 10 person party was pleased.
Would definitely eat here again, everything was super. Beautiful sunset from where we sat.

The oysters were good and the size of the food portions was great. Steak was a little under cooked and not as tender as expected.

Fabulous food and service. The filet was phenomenal! The Mango Martini was delicious! The chocolate deseret that looks like a dinosaur egg was the best part of the meal! This place is a must

A spectacular dinner on the waterfront deck. Perfect time to watch sunset. The food was delicious but wish the steak was a bit more charred. The lobster yum. Great lighting and ambiance.
Liam's Steakhouse delivers a 4 star dining experience. It's a Chicago-style steakhouse, with good seafood selections available. Specialty cocktails were very good. Oysters on the half shell were super fresh and served ice-cold. The fresh ceviche was off the charts. The entrees, a lobster tail and fresh snapper, were both good. The star of the meal was the chocolate bomb, a 6 inch tall hollow chocolate egg, opened by the waitress pouring hot chocolate sauce in a cross-cross pattern on top. The egg opened like a flower blooming, revealing vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit and nuts inside. Awesome dessert! Stop by Liam's, for the chocolate bomb if nothing else!

Johnny was our waiter and was really "Johnny on the spot!" He offered good recommendations for the Salmon. Martinis were smooth and cold and the coconut cream pie was fantastic, as it has been for the last several years! Requested a window table and was pleased that the request was fulfilled. It was windy so the 'wave' action on the bay was interesting to watch. Procedures for Covid 19 were adhered to. We will definitely be back next year!
