    A great dinner experience. The menu is heaven for foodies. Eclectic but in a very good way. I had lamb sausage with red cabbage, sized somewhere between a starter and entree. Very tasty. Wife had the daily special — whitefish, which she thought was the best she’s had in a long time. All of this was topped by the cheese platter we had for dessert. Waiter spent a lot of time talking to us about our preferences and the cheese master (or whatever you call it) did a superb job with her selection. I’d be more than happy to return on my next visit to Thomasville.

    Liam*s is listed as having vegan dishes on the internet. My son chose this restaurant because he and his wife are vegan. Please put real vegan dishes on the menu so vegans can have at least 1 restaurant to go to while in Thomasville. Our waiter did ask the chef to whip up something...it was good, just a tiny amount of food for the price. Vegans are here to stay! It would be so nice to have a classy restaurant to go for meals. We would like it to be Liam*s!

    Every time I visit Liam's I have a wonderful experience. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks are fantastic and the food is so delicious.

    The duck was excellent. Fried octopus appetizer as well. Great selection of liquors& wine. French chocolate pastry dessert was light and not overbearing. The fish special was excellent ( a main course selects). Our server, Brian served us well.

    Birthday date with my husband. Amazing waiter, cheese, drinks, dinner. We enjoyed drinks in the lounge after and bought some cheese to take home and share with friends. It was a wonderful 26th birthday!

    I like Liam’s. Our waiter was great. I support restaurants and hard working wait and kitchen staff, as well as business owners. It’s a tough business. But I made a reservation and was prepared to spend a fair amount, and somehow my wife and I were put at a high-top table at literally the back of the house. We sat next to the kitchen, food storage, dishwasher and back door. It severely impacted our Valentines Day dinner. I raised the issue and was told there was no other option but to sit at a table with other diners. Not good.

    We dined at Liam's for a business meeting. Our server was incredibly helpful and right on top of everything. Our meal was delicious and we will certainly be back!

    Pleasures: food was delicious. (Scallion toast, the sausage dish, lamb dish). Service was perfect for casual dining. Menu was unique. Interior design was thoughtful and well executed. Wish for better: menu very limited in range. Lots of red meat and dishes dependent on dairy for taste. Door opens directly into dining area without a panel, which would keep us away on cold nights. When I had to order a dish sans cheese, I would’ve thought the chef would compensate by adding more onions. He did not. (Scallion toast). They ruined the soup d’jour by adding cream. I would’ve loved to have a Brussels sprouts soup without cream. Lots of alcoholic drinks for a bar-centric casual dining place is understandable but perhaps they could be more creative with non alcoholic drinks and increase their potables margins even more.

    Liam's is fantastic in every way. It has become our favorite restaurant and each visit is something special. Rhonda, the owner, is really incredible. Her knowledge of cheese is wonderful and her passion for food and service is a joy to behold. Her staff is impeccable. And of course, there is the food, which is divine in every way. Creative, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and always relevant to the season. Liam's has become one of the greatest joys of our life, for which we are extremely grateful.

    Food snobbery taken to the extreme. Wait staff is downright rude and condescending. The majority of the food was good but not worth the exorbitant price. The butternut squash side was inedible and the salmon was served with uneven cooking and raw in parts. The drinks were excellent, if they hadn’t been so overpriced perhaps I could have had a few more and ignored the waitstaff and food miscues

    I consider Liam's the best of Thomasville, but I am a foodie that likes to see something more than fried seafood or steak and fries. Even with it's very limited menu, Liam's manages some great combinations of dishes. It is more farm to table than any other restaurant in the region. Not for everyone I must say if you like heavy dishes at say an Italian restaurant. It provides very unique dishes that breaks up the mundane ones every other restaurant serves. I truly love it!

    Very good food, very small portions, very expensive. We were charged $2 for a lemon twist in a martini! If one has money to toss into the wind, this is the place to go. My wife and I both left hungry after each ordering an entree which were very, very small portions. Although the food was certainly very good, we won't be back. Way too expensive for what we were given. And the $2 charge a small piece of lemon peel in a martini was outrageous.

    Our table for 2 was broke. Had to balance it out by taking turns eating while the other held it in place.My wife received her wine very fast while my beer took nearly 20 min the first time and the 2nd beer order was totally forgotten about therefore i canceled the order . It was time for us to leave by the time they realized it never came . Expected better for the high price. Not that crowded so didn’t understand why order was “ignored “. Food was great though.

    I went with my family on a Tuesday evening. Hardly anyone was there so there was no noise. If you’re looking for savory food, this is the place. I recommend Liam’s for anyone occasion. Great service, divine food, and a fantastic experience. Definitely going back!

    The food was excellent and the service was even better. My wife and I were there for our weekly "date night" and had not been there is quite a while (>1 year). My wife had the cheese/meat board which was wonderful. I asked the waiter to recommend between the duck and ribeye specials and he suggested the latter which was OUTSTANDING! The recommended wine was also perfect. The bill was not unexpectedly not inexpensive, but we had a wonderful meal! We will return very soon.

    Our server was friendly but not as attentive as we would like, we ordered a cheese board and drinks and were finished with the cheese board before he came back around to see if we needed anything and to take our dinner order. Otherwise, everything else was at or above expectations.

    Enjoyed our 30th wedding anniversary dinner at Liam’s, definitely worth the 45 minute drive from Tallahassee. Cheese board, wine, salad & desert were devine. The entree menu was most limited of our experience in 10 years of dining at Liam’s. Only 1 Seafood dish( whole seabass). Felt it was prepared well however not the atmosphere to be eating fish off the bone. 2 ducks dishes, no vegetarian entree.

    We came expecting nice surroundings/ ambience but found a casual fish camp like atmosphere that was very loud. It was hot on a steaming hot night. The waiter told us he thought the air conditioning was broken. Wine came quickly but our friends waited over 10 minutes for drinks after placing order. My husband and I had duck breast which was dry and tasted like liver. Our friends had good seafood dishes and the appetizers we shared were very good. The desert we shared was nice as well. We won’t be back but if you are looking for a popular, crowded, loud restaurant with hit and miss entrees ( very limited menu) then Liam’s is for you.

    This was our second trip to Liam's, both on returns from visits out of state (we live in Florida). The food we've eaten there has been superb. This meal was one of the best either of us had ever eaten, and as world travelers, we've eaten many, many fantastic meals. The service was perfect. Both the wine and the cheese selections were just right, and because we arrived during Happy Hour, our bottle of wine was half off the regular price. For the main course, we bothhad the Daily Blue, which was seared scallops on an eggplant puree. Just spectacular.

    Excellent respite for this traveler. Friendly and super accommodating staff, great guests at the bar. Smoked manhattan was awesome! Next time I'm through that little town, I'm there!

    Food was outstanding, but the portion size was ridiculously small for the price. We took my two small daughters for a date night. They split an adult size bow tie pasta dish. Each got about 6 noodles. My wife got the same dish and got the full 12 tiny noodles. The price worked out to be about $2 per noodle! I love the place...always great food, but come on y'all can do better than that!

    Liam's is the best place for any celebration! Just celebrated my parents 59th anniversary at Liam's and they made it a wonderful memory for the whole family. The food was out of this world, the drinks exceptional and the staff incredible. I recommend Liam's for dinner, celebrations, casual drinks in a great atmosphere and drinks with friends anytime.
