A modern Southeast Asian restaurant with an open kitchen, Li Jiang whets the appetite for all things spicy, authentic and Oriental. Meaning “beautiful river” in Chinese, Li Jiang reflects resort’s location on the Grand Canal. An open kitchen, where diners can watch the chefs create homemade dim sum as well as authentic rice and noodle dishes is the centerpiece of our modern Southeast Asian restaurant. An outdoor terrace tucked away in the olive grove affords spectacular views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

The service at Li Jiang was very good, but since we ordered a special all-you-can-eat menu, I would have appreciated a few more checks for drink refills. The sushi was absolutely terrible. 1/10 do not recommend. The chicken katsu was juicy but basically flavorless and the ramen was also lacking seasoning. The ambiance was nice and the shisha was the best on our trip.

There was a nice wine list with nice wines at reasonable prices and a selection of Asian beers. However, the food, in our opinion was very tasteful. All 3 of us loved it!!! We had the soft shell crab starter, seafood spring roll starter, wasabi prawn starter, half crispy duck, miso soup and laksa soup (this was the highlight for me). We could not find anything wrong with anything we had. We would go back. It was a very quiet restaurant but we like that so not a problem for us. We sat in a booth that had beautiful crafter wood separators.

Everything was perfect. Tried duck gyoza, pad thai, uramaki roll, turon it was all amazing! Special thanks to Samson, Mayuni, Angga & Jibil.

Went for the sushi and sake night and it was very underwhelming. It's one set plate of basic sushi followed by non-sushi items like Ramen and katsu. There was no information in the sake, and no choice. Overall a very mediocre experience.

One of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. The delicate tastes were superbly created by the chef and served perfectly. The black cod was the highlight. My thanks to chef and all the team for a very memorable night.
