Great dinner, except our card was charged 2 x for our dinner. Definitely some scamming here. Won’t dine here again-
Food was good, but I expected more from a top rated South Beach restaurant. I loved the idea of the ribeye preparation on the grill, and though it was cooked as requested, the meat was a little tough/stringy.
Service was OK.
Everything was great from the food, to the service, to the ambience.
Food was only like warm and not what I would expect for the Delano. Very disappointed.
Overall a nice experience, quite unique. Food was not staggered as promised, drinks were incredibly expensive. Food though, was delicious!
The cuisine was in overbooking.Avoid saturdays.
Great restaurant with great service, and the food was delicious.
Outstanding food and service. Upscale but comfortable. Creative menu, fresh product. If we could afford it, we'd eat here every day.
The food was stunning and scrumptious. Loved the squash salad served tableside in a roasted squash bowl. Roast chicken from the fire pit was delicious. Sit outside and walk down to the picturesque pool. Strolling through the chic Delano Lobby to the restaurant Located in the back is a pleasure. What a find!
Waiter was exceptional.
This restaurant exceeded my expectations. I gave the dinner for my father's 90th birthday. They not only wowed them over with outstanding and innovative food offerings, but their unexpected gracious offer to comp the meal. Wow! A tremendously nice gesture to a birthday boy that doesn't get a chance to fine dine. Nice job Leynia--and thank you.
Was birthday party for 5 people , the bar charged us $80 for 2 cocktails and 1 cranberry juice and 1 virgin mojito!!!! Ridiculous! It supposed to be also happy hour that we received promotion email from Delano for Tuesdays! Very frustrating experience !:(
The food was excellent!
Very cold welcome.
I booked for my daughter’s 24th birthday, but apparently nobody knew this.
Very noisy place.
We miss the former Bianca, where the service was perfect!!
My fiancé and I were looking to go to a steakhouse but didn’t want too big a meal. The Leynia was within walking distance, and the food pics looked great (along with the positive reviewers) so we deveined to go. First off, we got lucky with the weather, and eating outdoors was perfect. We ordered a few starters, beef and chicken empanadas were moist with great flavor, and a flaky crust. We then ate the tacos, which were somewhat small, but absolutely delicious. The ceviche was perfectly prepared with just enough cilantro and lime to make you smile from ear to ear. And finally, the churrasco with chimichurri and baby carrots was grilled to perfection...and it even came on it’s own grill to finish The seasoning and temperature were just right. No real complaints the whole evening. Service was great. Setting was amazing on the back patio over looking the pool. Great meal and ambience.
The buffet was very poor if you considering what you pay for ($85 +beverage +20% mandatory tip and no table cloth or placemats or change of silverware), no sea food, few salads, no hot food (risotto, beef, or other) scarce variety of charcuterie and cheese. Cecconi’s at Soho house is superior by far. I am from Argentina, so I rather not judge the bbq out of fairness. The only interested thing worth is the bottomless option for Mimosas ($25) or Veuve Clicquot ($45).
One of the main courses came out before the appetizers which was ridiculous. Food was very good definitely order the grilled chicken. Service was very subpar and manager was rude when he came over to discuss poor service. Overall would recommend but be aware service may not be worth the price of admission.
Marvelous atmosphere. The food was very nice, not spectacular, but nothing to complain about.
Everything fine , “until the morning after”
(I own my responsibility to double check the bill)
At one point I’d asked for 2 singles of Suntory Toki Japanese whiskey. In the morning I looked at the bill and it was 2 of a high end premium Japanese whiskey at x2=$86 . Felt so taken advantage of . Want to enjoy evening in chill mode & get jobbed .
If it wasn’t for the nice waiter, his hard work & great energy, it would have been a 1-star rating. Beef was delicious but unfortunately it was very cold. The side dish arrived when I finished the cold entree. Beautiful ambience but that night it didn’t live up to the hype. My suggestion: for a pricey/hipster place like this one, one waiter covering 5 tables shows cheap management. Maybe I wasn’t lucky & it was a 1-night thing. Hesitating about coming back to give them a 2nd chance.
Outside seating very romantic! The food was succulent ! Lots of flavor the wine I little pricy but excellent selections. Service was phenomenal.
Beautiful restaurant and the food was outstanding. It is a very expensive restaurant, however a memorable experience
Leynia is is one of our favorites, food is constantly good, hostess are a bit of a problem there though,a bit uptight and the last few times we have been there they have made us wait for our table although we had a reservation, got there on time and tables were available ...they need to straight this problem up.
Good food and great atmosphere. We liked it!
Very rude waitress and manager.
Was very disappointed. Service was horrible and server was extremely rude. Food was very expensive and not very good. Over cooked the $95 steak we ordered. Our extensive bottles of wine were warm and not stored appropriately. Extremely loud music at pool area. Just a big disappointment.
Excellent service, wine list extensive with decent pricing. Jason, manager, came over to assure us of top service.
I was very impressed with Leynia! The original plan was to dine at The Bazaar however my friend decided last minute that she liked the sound of Leynia's menu better. I am very glad she did because it was delicious. Our server gave us very honest opinions when requested, which was very appreciated. For appetizers, we ordered the eggplant toast which had an incredible texture and flavor, the truffle potatoes which I was surprisingly impressed by and the kobocha salad which was DELICIOUS! Not what I was expecting at all but SO good. I wish there was a little more greens with it and our server cleared the squash before we were done so that was disappointing. For entrees, I got the mushroom risotto which was very tasty. The presentation gives it the feel that the portion is going to be quite large, however I didn't feel as though that were the case. A lot of the rice burnt to the bottom of the bowl so that was a loss. My friend has the sea bass which she talked about for the next 24 hours.
The one thing that killed the vibe was an intense base from music at a neighboring hotel. As this is out of the restaurants control, it was a major killer to the experience. Additionally, service after we received our entrees dropped off. It was quite challenging to get our server.
Overall the experience was amazing and I would certainly revisit.
The ambiance together with the outstanding food makes this a winner! I highly recommend
Decent food at a high price. Waiter was busy and didn't have time to answer menu questions
The menu is very interesting with many different options. My daughter is vegetarian and our server asked the sushi bar to make her a vegetarian roll that she loved. The ribeye was perfection - so tasty and tender. The chocolate dessert was beautiful and not too sweet - and the chessmen were edible which was a very fun surprise.
The Delano is a feast for the eyes and the outdoor patio dining is everything you could desire for a lovely south Florida evening. I will return
Great Brunch!
Amazing food and ambiance
They were hosting a party by the pool and it was extremely noisy. We asked to move inside and that destroyed the whole experience. Confusion between the waiters. some dishes served cold and not in synch...very disappointing evening
Beautiful setting, but be prepared for some of the loudest music playing from the pool area which at times you could feel vibrating thru your body. The food was great but the noise level completely ruined the meal and the evening. Couldn't wait to leave!
Overall the food and service was good, however what happened after the fact was terrible!! I went to this restaurant for MY bachelorette party dinner. Everyone in my party split the bill with each other, which is what happened to everyone except for me. After checking my bank account I had a $450 charge!! I called as soon as I noticed and still have not gotten a call back from a manager. It is VERY alarming that I have almost a $500 charge on my card and have no explanation or call back from the manager yet.
My birthday!
The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our waiter, Said, was cheerful, attentive and helpful. He described the different menu options clearly and helped us pick dishes suited to our taste. The outdoor patio was very pretty and warm.
Delicious food and craft cocktails. My friend and I ordered the octopus, mushroom risotto, sea bass and ribeye. It’s a great experience to see the grill on the lawn, preparing the meats. The plating was quite intricate. I loved my cocktail. Our favorite dish was the risotto. Hope to come back soon to try other dishes!
Amateur staff, average food, nice setting... Not worth the prices
Some of the best food and service I have ever experienced. We were so glad we decided on Leynia's and were able to make a reservation through Open Table!
Food was great and its a nice blend of sushi, vegetables, and meat so everyone could find something to their liking.
Unfortunately, service is mediocre at best and wine list is ridiculous. The least expensive bottle of wine (pinot grigio yuk) starts at 75$ and goes up from there. Honestly, the wine we got could have been purchased for 14.00$ retail.
