The service and ambiance was great. Appetizers were fine but I ordered the $84 butter aged ribeye which was the special. Very disappointing. The steak was tended but flavor was like an average steak. The steak was fire grilled but actually had more of a burnt flavor rather than a smoked taste as promised and no crust at all. A steak at Capital Grill is way better...
drinks are expensive as expected, but overall the quality of the food does not justify the total cost.

No communication on the Valentine’s Day menu and we would not have come to the restaurant if we had known the menu was fixed price / not good.
I would recommend to have the music at a level that would be appropriate to enjoy it while being able to have a conversation with the person sitting across the table, without the need to yell - especially when it's a Valentine's Dinner... The live music was extremely loud.
I booked Leynia because my girlfriend is allergic to seafood and it is an Argentinean Grill. Unknowingly we arrived to a prefix $130 a person (not including tax and tip). We decided to stay although there were only two meat dishes (one being beef carpaccio) because it was Valentine's Day and it would be impossible to get into another restaurant on Southbeach at that hour. We made it through the appetizers but the food was disappointing so when the main courses arrived we decided to leave. It appeared as though we were at a buffet and the 12-course meal justified the $130 each. It would have been significantly better if they had served one really good appetizer and one really good main course for $130. The waitress was attentive and advised the manager when we asked for the check before eating the main dishes. I explained to the manager the situation and he offered to bring more meat dishes. But how much beef carpaccio can one eat? He offered a discount but when the bill arrived there was no discount. Paid the $350 and left. Very disappointing especially considering it was Valentine's Day.

The food is amazing such a cool vibe and they’re great service was so good that we went back another night cancel the reservation at a different restaurant and went back!
Outdoor seating was loud and cigarette smoking was allowed right at dinner tables.
The restaurant should consider smoking section.

We dined 2/10/20. The food service preparation was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and most certainly enhanced a great experience. The Delano is an experience in itself. This was our fourth dining experience at this hotel. We would recommend this restaurant as a great South Beach experience.

Great experience with friends sharing small plates and steak slices. Loved the ambience and our server was very helpful with navigating the menu.
Dinner reservations were at 9pm and when we got there at 9 the hostess told us she would text us when our table was ready. After an hour in the back bar, we went back to the hostess and were finally seated. Despite the hour delay, it was a great dinner.

The lobby is incredibly modern and beyond expectations.
About the restaurant, i could define it as a great basic concept (grill) incorporated to a high end hotel.
The food has really good taste, the variety is enough to share with many people and the ambiance makes it great for a glass of wine and a great steak with veggies, Argentinian style.
Would come back for a business meal or a date

Our waiter MICHAEL was excellent. The food is excellent and they bring it quickly. Their menu has many options. I recommend this place.
Everything was great, as usual everything in South Beach
is overpriced but fun.
Our meal was amazing!! Our waiter explained the dishes to a T and each one was better than the one before, do yourself a favor and just order the tuna pizza and the sea bass. It will change your life.
We had a table on the patio and was beautiful outside it had rained that night so was not so busy .
Drinks from the patio bar were amazing but of course it’s Miami so the are expected to be !
Wine was not so expensive had a good collection .

Took a client here for entertainment dinner. We were seated very quickly but there was a significant delay in being acknowledged by a server after we were seated. Once we had a server, the service was terrific although he seemed a bit rushed and/or overwhelmed. He was terrific in proactively asking if we wanted to move due to a downpour that was splashing a bit of mist on us. The food was very good although not amazing in my opinion based on other fine dining experiences in this price range. Steak was ordered medium rare but was much closer to medium. This is Miami and the over-all trend seems to be that service can be a tad less than what you'd see in non-tourist centric areas. Over-all it was ok and probably wouldn't return.

A childhood friend and I decided to dine at Leynia for dinner a few weeks back. I have dined here several times in the past, mostly for lunch or breakfast, but once for dinner. That previous dinner was nice but not spectacular. We chose Leynia this time due to bad weather and the proximity of the Delano to our apartment. The empanadas (we ordered two types) were really not good. Way too much dough and the filling was only okay. I had a salad for my meal and there was far too much dressing on it. I don’t remember what my friend ordered but she liked it okay - not great. The service was off as well. We started out with one guy but then there were two others involved and we finally had to ask for the check as it seemed it would never come otherwise. I like the location and will definitely return for breakfast of lunch, but with all of the fabulous restaurants in MB I will not return to Leynia for dinner.

Food was better than the service and the hotel is a Miami landmark. Be sure to get some photos near the pool.
Been here before and it has always been decent even tough overpriced. But great ambiance. This time, service was slow, they were out of orange juice... Not sure how that happens in a large hotel with a bar. Fod was OK.
The food was amazing the busboys were mediocre. For example they would take your plates without asking assuming we were done with our appetizers. Since the gratuity is already included in the bill the waiters seem to have less motivation to work. Although they were kind they didn’t seem to follow up nor were they quick on taking our orders. But given what I said the service provided is a lot better than most restaurants that are close by.
Drinks - cocktails and dinner wine arrived after main course.
Sides arrived 10 minutes before mains and had to be sent back to re heat. Filet steak medium was well done and two filet servings were massively different in size.
When mains did arrive sides were then late.
Waitress was inattentive and did not respond well to feedback. Had to speak to manager. After complaining was given discount on dinner but was not a good dining experience. Manager blamed the problems on high number of diners but equally busy competitors on south beach manage to give good food and excellent service compared to this restaurant so was a poor excuse.
