The 4 of us are aging New Yorkers - 2 were born and raised in NYC! One on the UWS , the other in Greenwich Village - each of them still reside there with 2 imports (Michigan & VA) both ladies have lived here in excess of 50 years. Luckily we dined very early this evening - so the restaurant was not PACKED & we could hear about 1/3 of the animated conversation we were having. Service was good, cocktails as well, mussels & fries yum! But it was noisy - we will go back (but not at our usual later hour unless we are not interested in having a conversation).

Very slow service . Extremely loud. Food ok. Waiter was nice. Bar drink had very little alcohol Dessert and Expresso ordered together . Expresso came 15 mins after dessert and was luke warm. 200$ tab for 2 people

Great place for a quiet lunch—busy, but not loud at all. The food is just what you want for a perfect meal: egg dishes with inviting ingredients, a nice steak, a variety of salads, burgers, of course, and sandwiches. Good service.

Food delicious. One of very few french restaurants that still serve frogs legs. So hurry and get them before they fade away

We had a delightful early dinner outside. The staff was warm and friendly and I appreciated that no one was rushing us to close our tab so we were able to really talk and enjoy ourselves.
