   The steak frites was mediocre. The steak was tough; fries over cooked. The Caesar salad was very good. My waitress was lovely. The runner plopped my plate in front of me without a word, with the steak opposite me so I had to turn it around to face me. I’ve worked in food service and eaten in fine restaurants. This experience was disappointing at best. I’ve eaten here before and had a good experience. My waitress was very apologetic and comped my wine. Still, I eat out infrequently and want a good experience when I do. I will not be coming back. Also, the bathroom was out of order.

   Great experience and our server was lovely. Ordered a medium burger and it was bit on the well done side and there wasn’t a ton of cheese, but the Escargot was great!

   The ambiance was great as well as the food! However, the service was slow and we barely saw our server who never checked up on us after throughout our dinning. After we finished our lunch, we wanted to order dessert and drinks but the server forgot about us and after 30 minutes we had to ask her for the check.

   Love the feel of this place. I live in the building, eat at L’Express regularly, and enjoy the care of the staff. The room is comfortable and the daytime interior light is wonderful.
