Menu was disappointing, totally different than the menu posted online, mostly bar food items at dinner prices. Restaurant was recently remodeled but lost it's old Florida charm
Very good food, very helpful and friendly staff, pleasant surroundings.
The prime rib might as well have been boiled. No flavor. Served with grilled green beans that were raw. Only good item was mashed potatoes.
We loved every moment. The sun set was beautiful. My only complaint was the mosquito or noseems that chewed up my feet and ankles.
Small portions, a cup of gumbo $7.25 really!! Server was the only thing good about the place.
Love this restaurant.....excellent food and service. Beautiful sunset view!
Nice Happy Hour beverage and great grouper sandwich. Attentive service. Great marina views.
great food and service as usual, love the onion crusted salmon
Great experience and great service. Only complaint is when it is cold they should close the rear cash register. Every time the door opens a cold breeze comes through the door.
Pretty good seafood restaurant - took water taxi from Palm Island which was really fun! Server was excellent, seafood was pretty good too.
Nice seating location. Prompt service. Easy parking. Close to home.
To our dismay our waitress had omitted to enter our order & she did tell us later but it took quite a while to get our food!
Was seated right away with the reservation. Services was very good. Food was also good. We will be going back.
Yellow rice was boring and green beans and squash were cold and mushy. Two stuffed crab cakes were just OK. Table was near the bar and noise was very loud. Won’t be going back.
Great menu selections. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was hot and tastey.
Although service was very friendly, it was slow. Waitress did not check in to see if drinks needed to bring refilled and it took a while to get the check once we were finished with the meal.
Leverock's has the best oysters - bar none- of any place I have been to in Florida! I make a point of dining here at least once when I come for vacation. On a good vacation, I'll make it more than once!. This visit I also had a lobster roll, which had several huge pieces of lobster claw- so much lobster! Great value for the money.
Always very good. Food and variety is perfect. I have never been disappointed with the food or service.
Server seemed rushed.
We normally love going there, but our experience on February 26 wasn’t up to the usual experience. It was our 55th anniversary.
Very noisy, our waiter served other people who came in after us, three of us ordered surf and turf and the steak was tough and no flavour, the fourth ordered boullibaise (sp?) and it wasn’t good either. Given that we spent upwards of $400., not sure we’ll go back.
Mediocre service but I have had great service previously
First, I have to say the server, Jill, was great. Other than not coming back to fill our waters, she was fine. The food was ok. Pretty standard seafood restaurant. One of us ordered off the menu, seafood lasagna. She said it was hot and very good. My wife and I ordered specials. I had grouper with blue crab, my wife had seafood diablo. My was fine other than the the rice was cold. My wife was not great, except the mahi-mahi was over cooked and in general the plate was not very hot. Dinner rolls and escargot were delicious.
The problem we had was with the hostess stand. Our open table reservation was for 7 pm. We arrived about 5-10 mins early. The head hostess said there would be a wait, but we could go to bar and she would come and get us. We were fine with this. 15 minutes after 7 ,she came over saying she was aware we were still there. 10 minutes more go by and the associate hostess has seated 3 other groups of people who have all come in after us. At this point, my wife is not happy and I start to go up to the hostess desk when a gentleman ( we assume maybe the general manager)comes to us apologizing and seats us. I was very apparent the associate hostess was taking upon herself to not consult with the head hostess.
Will we go back when we are back in the area, maybe for drinks and appetizers , which were perfect. Dinner, probably not.
I found the happy hour bar offerings limited. The only beer on the list was Bud Light which I consider just barely beer. Instead I ordered a gin and tonic. The tonic water was entirely flat without a hint of fizz. For dinner, I had the coconut shrimp special which was advertised as Jumbo shrimp. I have had jumbo shrimp before and these were not jumbo. Otherwise the food was tasty. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Others in my party were a little more enthusiastic than I was about the food. I saw it as okay but not great. The meals were at a reasonable price.
Crab cakes were over cooked; almost burnt had to send back. Husband’s steak part was over cooked other piece a little under cooked .
Good food - excellent staff
The food was adequate, but the service was poor considering they were not that busy. I asked if we could have a table so we could see the water, and was told they only had 1 table for 6 people that had a view of the water and they had just seated a party at it. They did not even try to accommodate us.
The hostess had trouble finding our reservation. Was very disappointed, and it will be a long time before we return.
We have always have a great meal. We came by boat and really appreciated the gentlemen who helped us dock.
Our waitress was friendly and efficient.
We always love going to Leverocks for dinner while staying at Palm Harbor Marina. Food, folks and accommodations are great. Thanks
Had two issues, first it is always so cold in the restaurant. We had them turn the fan off and it still was cold. This happens every time we go and we noticed other individuals putting on sweaters. Next, we ordered a piece of peanut butter pie to go. For $5.95 it was a small tart about 4 bites, of that. Years ago it was a nice slice of pie. The tart was very disappointing to say the least. Other than that our meal was very good along with the service. We live in Venice and not sure if we would rush back.
Food was great. Yet quantity low for the money
To be honest, we didn't stay. Partially our fault for not checking (calling) to see if there was a Valentine's Day menu. Didn't care for it, but when we asked the waitress about why they didn't have it posted on line she only response was that ALL restaurants have a special menu on Valentine's Day. Her tone bordered on rude, no, it was rude, she was implying we were stupid.
Might go back, someday.
Food was well prepared and good flavor. Our waitress was not very attentive. She brought the food, never asked if we wanted anything else during the meal or asked if anything else we wanted. She did ask about desert then just dropped the bill on the table. Just not very friendly service.
Dinner came out in reasonable time Waitres never brought out are appetizers. She forgot to put order in.
It was very good food but our appetizers took awhile and had to wait for the bill
Enjoyed evening with friends. Food was outstanding. Portions were also outstanding
Great seafood and onion rings!
Very crowded. Could use a larger bar area. Noise level was very loud. Food was good service was good.
Great food, gorgeous sunsets, will definitely go back again and would highly recommend Leverock's to a friend!
Crab cakes were over cooked and tasted like there were shells in the meat.
Seafood lasagna was mostly crab with little or no lobster or shrimp in the dish as it was supposed to include.
Leverock's is everyone's favorite restaurant. We know that our guests will enjoy the setting, staff and food. /
