We enjoyed our Mother’s Day dinner out on the deck at Level 2. Loved our meals...steaks, halibut ahi. All very good.
Our server was great...attentive and accommodating. We will look forward to returning!
Always greeted by friendly staff the food is excellent and very well-presented
Our first time at Level 2. Service was good. Our entrees were good. Deserts lacking a bit. Wine list rather limited. Overall, will return.
Let’s start with the positive. We dined on a beautiful Spring evening and sat on the deck. The sun was lowering and the setting was great. Our server was friendly and seemed to be very busy, running from indoors to outdoors and table to table. He told us that he was on his second shift of the day, as his replacement had not shown up for work. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and did not sample any of their specialty cocktails, though they were very tempting.
The menu was interesting and we found several choices that looked good. I finally settled upon a ribeye steak, specifically and emphatically ordered rare to medium rare and a mahi-mahi entree special for my companion, ordered with the request to be sure and not over-cook. (We neither like our proteins over-cooked.). I ordered one of the half salads with the addition of shrimp on which my companion planned to nibble while I consumed the salad. We then had a considerable wait before my salad was served...without the shrimp. Again, long wait. The shrimp were served along with an apology, and over-cooked and just above room temperature. And at the same time as the entree. The waiter offered to take them off the bill, which they did.
Again, the positive...the flavor of the meals was very good. The seasoning was balanced and complementary for both entrees. But the were both over cooked. My ribeye was medium to medium well, and the mahi-mahi was cooked to the verge of dryness. We chose to not send either back because they were edible with good flavor, but what would have otherwise earned at least another star for food, alas, disappointed.
My recommendation is that if you have not tried Level 2, go ahead! If you are into cocktails, they looked great. And I think that the food could be very good as well. For our visit, they obviously and admittedly were having some personnel problems, but most restaurants these days have the issue of reliable help. People who were there were great.
We heard new owners took over so wanted to check it out. It wasn’t busy at all. We got right in. Food was good. Hopefully they can drum up more business, the lack of patrons did concern me at first. But food made up for it!
I really enjoyed my dinner at Level 2. The setting was intimate, the service was great and the food was really good.
Always wonderful food, great service and the staff is so friendly! We had a fabulous birthday dinner celebration. Love Level 2!
You will never be disappointed here the food is always good the service is good and the flourless chocolate cake is decadent and awesome and wonderful of which they had run out of this particular night so I had to creme brulee instead which was awesome too but I had my heart set on with chocolate but the owner Don was very responsive whenever this way to let me know that when you have a special request for a desert put it in the comments section so they can set a piece aside for you if I will do that next time awesome job guys keep up the great work
Get the crab cakes and the filet!
Had the salmon chowder and it was delicious!
Tried Level 2 out for the first time last night. Could not be more impressed with the selection of gluten free foods! Cocktails were amazing. Great little spot for dinner!
Nice ambiance but expensive for average food offerings.
Traveled across the country to see an old college friend. Brought hubby and kids (14&10) along. Was a perfect spot!!!!!
The filet mignon was done to perfection the meal was start to finish very well-presented high quality excellent staff all at a very reasonable price I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anybody you cannot go around here
I was so impressed with Level 2 in so many ways. We have been there several times, but this time, I booked a room to entertain an out-of-town speaker. Several issues came up requiring changes, and the staff were completely accommodating and easy to work with. The food and drinks were great, service was beyond excellent, and prices are reasonable. The restaurant can be loud, but we were there on a Friday night, and nobody had a problem with the sound level (this is an older group so hearing can be a problem). Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, beers and cocktails. The wine was disappointing, but those of us who prefer wine order other options (beer or a cocktail). Prices for happy hour are great, but I find it worthwhile to just order a meal along with your discounted beverage.
I definitely recommend Level 2. It's great for parties or groups.
The restaurant was not busy when we arrived but hostess greeting was delayed. Good initial table service but food order took a long time to arrive at the table.
We enjoyed the calamari and smoked salmon appetizers but beef in the burgers was low on flavor and somewhat tough. Shrimp in another main dish needed to be sent back for over-doneness.
Love the creative cocktail menu! Basil lemon drop had better rounded flavors and tartness after we asked for a tweak involving triple sec. The gluten-free alternatives are much appreciated!!
We had a great time here. I reserved a table for 12 for my niece’s bridal shower. The wait staff was so accommodating! The crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had. Cocktails are top notch. Very nice atmosphere.
It was good. We had a private room to accommodate a large party. Great service, waiter made sure we were taken care of.
Bar drink menu has some fun concoctions on it. Nice wine selection and if you are able to sit outside you can people watch and see the mountains. Food is very good and reasonably prices.
Great happy hour!
Excellent food, drinks, service and desert! We had a lovely evening!
There was a slight issue with the steak being overdone. Unfortunately, my wife ate alone for a bit while I was waiting for the matter to be remedied. Management took care of the misstep.
Food was wonderful. Server was young and inexperienced. View was great.
Good place for eats and cocktails at Bend's Old Mill District located at the 2nd floor behind the REI store.
Saturday night and it was pretty dead. Took forever to get the food but when we did get it the food was very good. Probably won't return, our waiter was. Ice but the kitchen stalled out
