Very good food and service. Best falafel we’ve had in STL!!
Very enjoyable experience. Unique food, great cocktails, nice ambiance.
Great for a date night.
Nice little find in the CWE. Cozy interior. We were visiting our college daughter and thought we would try something new. Loved the Baba Ganoush and Kibbeh. Had the levant mixed grill for a main dish. Will return again.
But only if she was interested in trying something new and asked if Levant was OK.
This was our first time at Levant. We shared baba ganoush and kibbeh, both of which were excellent. I particularly loved the baba ganoush, as did my husband. This is an appetizer/dip for pita bread that we've been eating for years. Both of us believe Levant's was the tastiest we've ever had. We also shared the beef kebab platter. The two kebabs were minced beef, herbs, spices and onions shaped around a skewer and grilled. They were delicious, and so was the distinctive rice they was served upon, along with pita and salad. I went to graduate school years ago with two Jordanian women and we became fast friends. I socialized and broke bread many times with them and their Arabic friends from Syria, Palestine, and Iraq. There was much cooking involved and some fine cooks among this group of folks. My experience at Levant--the aromas, the tastes, the graciousness of the restaurant staff--filled me with lovely memories of the home-cooked Levantine food I shared with those great friends.
Our server was funny, kind and so helpful! He made our dining experience so enjoyable! We will definitely be back!
The food is very good and reasonably priced. The staff are Syrian and I like supporting them. It is a great neighborhood restaurant in a good location.
Levant in Central West End of St Louis is exceptional. Their service is king! Their food is off the charts! The VIP hookah area is superb! You must visit and come see for yourself!
