Delicious and lovely but high prices for small portions
Overpriced, bad pizza and what we did have was average at best. Would not go back
Had an amazing meal here.
Ricotta and honey appetizer changed my religion. Stuffed peppers, sausage was so good. In fact I said that about 8 times whilst eating it, “this is so good”.
I had the lamb bolognese, delicious.
The BF had the pork chop. Melt in your mouth.
Drinks were on point. Service was great.
Topped off which a little limoncello and went home happy.
A small group of us met up here for a post holiday catchup & will definitely be returning! Only surprise was how empty it was. The bar in front is lovely & offers many interesting drinks. Once seated inside, we loved the cozy atmosphere. All of the staff was helpful. We shared a few apps (get the hot honey mozzarella), pastas (clams), & ended with the chicken for two (good- but next time I’ll try something else). Go check this place out for a nice evening!
Had a wonderful time. It was my birthday and the staff did a great job making me feel special. The menu is different , the portions are on the small side but the ambiance was spectacular and they were playing some great hip hop the whole time we were there. It was the perfect volume so you can still have a conversation. I just wish we had gotten one of the pizza's as an app. Will have to go back.
Surprisingly poor service and overpriced, mediocre food.
Loved the Malfadini pasta and the server gave us a free dessert with sparkler for a birthday
The staff were very welcoming and courteous, and the food was amazing. Our server was knowledgeable in helping to answer our questions about the food, and we greatly enjoyed our pasta dishes (Malfadini and Black Shells).
Great ambiance. It's busy but the sound level is very enjoyable because of the tall ceilings and large space. I also liked that it wasn't super cramped. I would say it's a good go to but not a must. Had the goat milk ricotta dish with honey, which was very soft, delicate and delicious. Our party of 4 each had pasta which was very good. One had a penne lamb bolognese which hit all the right notes, another had the burrata messaluna which was light and delicate, another had the duck pappardelle which looked very good but I didn't try it. I had the malfadini which was very good - light pesto sauce with sweet sauteed peppers on top. We had the pistachio cake and olive oil and prosecco sorbet, both of which were perfect. Service looked great but our server was just okay. He never came back around to ask for another round of cocktails
Great for a date night- attentive service, mostly tasteful decor, pleasant ambiance, and very tasty food.
The restaurant is nice and the food was excellent, but although the restaurant wasn't very crowded, the service was not good at all. The waiter had an attitude like he didn't want to be there and could not be found
Loved it! Food, service and atmosphere A+!
The starters and appetisers were gorgeous but the main of pastas was super disappointing. The pastas were like warm when they got to us and we couldn’t get the attention of a waiter to ask for them to be taken back. This was for NYE so a night they should have been on point. Hoping we just got unlucky as the start of the meal was so good!
There seems to be lots of new waitstaff. They're all very friendly, but don't know the menu, get forgetful/slow and overwhelmed when busy, and could use some training.
Our waiter Joseph🤦🏻♀️... he was nice but just slacking. The place wasn’t even packed, he was handling maybe 2-3 tables altogether. I ordered my second drink, he came with a tray of drinks and drop off the wrong one, he left so quickly that I didn’t have a chance to tell him, then I was watching him gave my drink away. I waved at him, told him that’s not my drink, he said I’m sorry then took my drink brought to the other table, came back with my drink and said “I I’ll make you a new one since this was on the other table...” He came back saying it’s gonna be a bit of a wait, but in the mean time if we would like dessert? He made it sound like it was gonna be on the house, we ordered it anyway regardless. When we asked for the check, not only he charged for our dessert, he even put 3 drinks for my order!!! Including the one he f’ed up! I had to wave at him again, he casually said oh sorry, my bad, I’ll fix it, but my manager is on the phone now, might be a little wait.... the whole experience was painful like pulling teeth.... I’ve always love the food and atmosphere, but Joseph’s service was bad, my friends were first timers and I don’t think they’ll consider going back based on this experience.
The chef is a master
one of the best meals I've ever had
Bravo chef Ricco
Exquisite, friendly service for Christmas dinner. Very good food. Excellent, vibrant ambience. Not cheap, but not obscene, either. Worth it for a special occasion. Service alone will have me returning.
outstanding food and quality professional service. This was our fourth or fifth time eating here and the experience just keeps on getting better.
Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. The service was excellent, the food - delicious, and the wines - exceptional. The pistachio cake is unforgettable. The ambiance is a perfect balance between Brooklyn casual and upscale. And the cost was actually very reasonable. This restaurant is a real find and I will definitely be back!
My kids and I had our Christmas dinner at Leuca. It was a wonderful experience for us!
Just ok, food selection was small
Food was truly delicious, service was just off the mark and not what one would expect
Great food and ambiance and fantastic waiter! Really fun and so enjoyable. Loved it.
Food was subpar for what I expected. Service was also not top notch. I asked the waiter if he could hold my left over pizza box while we ate the rest of our meal and he looked at me like I had 3 heads.
Trendy restaurant, great vibe, its intimate yet sophisticated, service was great, waiter was very attentive, food is amazing, we tried Classic Pizza and Pasta with seafood, both dishes were delicious. I would deff return to this restaurant.
Great service and delicious food
Service was impeccable!
Very good quality food. Lovely setting but let down by service. Slow and uncoordinated.
It was the best meal I've had in New York City and Brooklyn. Unbelievable. I dream about the Mafaldini. Our server was also not only incredibly friendly, but knew the menu as if he was the one cooking it in the kitchen. Cannot wait for the next chance to get back to Leuca.
Nice place to have dinner, highly recommend the fire roasted options.
We are treated to a great dinner after our reservation were significantly delayed. I would probably write a nasty review if it wasn’t for a sincere apologies and VIP treatment by management and staff. S**t happens and it’s how you go from there that really makes a place incredible. You have earned a client for life! I will recommend you to all my family, friends and my clients. This wasn’t my first visit and for sure will not be the last. Food is incredible but that’s why I kept coming back. The atmosphere made celebration of my friend’s birthday one of her best days of her life. Keep doing what you doing. You guys ROCK!
This place is awesome. Went with a large group of friends and we had a great time. The food is great and not super expensive for the quality. I will certainly go back. Roast pork was delicious.
Delicious food, good menu selection, friendly and efficient service, nice ambience.
Waited 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated. Standard apology with a simple glass of champagne would have helped. Waiter was quite good and food was excellent.
We waited a very long time for our table and we had made a reservation two days before. We ended up waiting 45 minutes past our reservation time. The hostess were very nice though
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. And it was an incredible experience. The food was superb. We started off with the mushroom dip, which had so texture and nuance. We then shared the tuna cruda antipasti. It had so much flavor and kick. Despite being a small portion, it was unbelievable. For dinner, we each had our own pastas. My girlfriend had the Burrata Mezaluna, which was excellent and filling. Not the biggest plate, though. I had the Spaghetti alla Ricci, which was extremely creamy and filling. Note: I'm a vegetarian, but I decided to make it a special occasion and eat a little bit of fish this night. And, even as a vegetarian who doesn't generally eat fish, I can say that all the fish dishes were incredible. We topped off our meal with some dessert. We had a olive oil gelato, which- despite the name- was almost like vanilla and melted right in your mouth. We also shared the Limoncello Tiramisu, which was delicious and zesty. And, I forgot to mention that we shared a bottle of red wine, which had great body and texture.
The service was very timely and passionate. At first, they seated us in the corner. However, when we asked to move, they were incredibly accommodating placing us in the high seats near the bar, so we could take in all the atmosphere of the night. Our waiter was always on top of things and checking in with us, while never being overbearing. And he had an incredible knowledge and passion for all the food. They even brought Nora out sparkling candles for her birthday in the ice cream dessert.
I'd highly recommend Leuca to anyone who's looking for a nice night out at a wonderful Italian restaurant.
The food was absolutely delicious! We ate slightly late (8:30) and I think our waiter may have finished their shift when we were looking for desert so that may have thrown the service off a little but overall we had an incredible meal and would definitely come back!
It was just so perfect!
This is an absolutely fantastic restaurant - go even if not staying in the William Vale hotel.
