Disney Character Breakfast every Sunday from 8:30am to 11:30am!
Food was outstanding, best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Kids meal was great. Service was awesome
Overall everything was fabulous. We did have to have them turn down the music but other then that is was great and I would highly recommend your restaurant to anyone.
We always eat here while staying at Hilton. Always great food and nicest staff
We had reservations for 9:00 P.M. When we arrived there at 8:55 we were told the staff was just cleaning off our table and we'd be seated right away. Perfect, we thought. We took a seat in their waiting area. Other people started coming in, walk ins who were seated immediately. We were finally called up around 9:30 to be seated. When we turned the corner to enter that dining area the entire place was empty. All the tables were set and cleaned. For what looked like hours. Ok, bad beginning but let's give the wait staff a chance. Another 20 minutes went by before we were even acknowledged. "Its so busy right now, I'm so sorry." Again...it was an empty dining room aside from my wife and I and two other couples that were seated before us with no reservation. Once the food was ordered it came out pretty quick and tasted freshly cooked so that's good. The food overall was average at best considering what the prices were. Will not be going back.
We were staying in the hotel. We made reservations and were met by friendly staff & amazing food! The server made sure we received our food quickly. Especially after we mentioned we were hungry after a long day. I ate every bite of my salmon...
They literally ruined my special occasion. No one was organized, they delivered bread to the table and 15 minutes later the butter came. I could go on but my time is worth more.
Festejamos new year 2019, pero la cocina cerró 22:30 y no pudimos pedir postre, ni hacer sobremesa
It was better than we expected! The food was prepared just as we requested. Even the chef came and made sure it was properly made to our choice.
When we booked this we did not realize it was in a Hotel - the food was very good - the atmosphere was too bright - lights could be turned down lower to give a more cozy feel. Service was great - restaurant was quiet at 8:00 on a Thursday night - guessing because Disney Springs is across the street with a lot of other options - but this was very nice and good value - portions were large - could have easily shared a dinner.
The characters and the food on the buffet was amazing but service was poor. If you get the buffet it seems like you are mostly on your own. Good luck with drink refills and getting the check.
Not a bad place for a bite to eat. Reasonable prices
Steak was a little tough and service was just ok considering that they weren’t very busy . Would definitely go back
Went here late after attending the parks all day and wanted some real food. Ordered the snapper and it was really tasty, so much so my kids 7 and 9 kept picking at my fish. My husband had the steak which he enjoyed and thought the mash potatoes were outstanding. All in all great meal
The food was very good. However, the restaurant is located in a Hilton hotel that caters to large business meetings. The atmosphere was very business-like with literally pictures of books on the walls and tables that are reminiscent of a cafeteria. I would highly recommend it for business meetings but not for vacationers. Also, you should ask for your parking to be validated. When I was there on a Sunday, the unvalidated price was $18.
Our waiter David was great! Very attentive and gave excellent service. The bourbon pecan pie was awesome!
Food was great!! Restaurant was hard to find. Server Jose was not the best server. He struggled a lot throughout the night.
The service, food, and ambiance was great.
I wrote what I wanted to write, I don’t like being “forced to write beyond what I wanted to say, so this is what you get for the 50 character minimum! You should leave well enough alone!!!
The food was good as well as the portion size. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The noise level is loud due to the ceiling design so things echo. It was nice to sit by the window and enjoy the bird life on the lake.
I reviewed this restaurant more in-depth on another site. What I will say here is that the restaurant has no ambiance whatsoever so it's a terrible date night locale. The prices are way too high given that this is basically a staging area for the restaurant's morning breakfast buffet. And if you're thinking of driving to the restaurant, be aware that only self-parking is validated; otherwise, you'll have the "privilege" of paying $20 for the hotel to keep your car parked for an hour or two. What a huge disappointment, and we will never return.
Dined at Letterpress during Magical Dining Month. Ceasar and Burrata salads were well-portioned and good. The Jambalaya and Shrimp n’ Grits were each outstanding. Pecan pie and chocolate raspberry cake were deeeeelicious. — Our server, Jose, was attentive. He did not skip a beat despite working a large group while serving us. Early dinner dining ambiance was perfect for us. We plan on returning to Letterpress.
Jose was very attentive and paced our Magical Month if dining dinner just right. We had the ceasar salad and the fresh mozzarella salad. Entrees were Nashville hot chicken and shrimp n grits. We could only eat half of the meal. All were generous portions. The chicken had the best flavor at dinner but didn’t reheat well. The shrimp n grits reheated the best.
Dessert was key lime pie and chocolate raspberry cake!
The worst part of the date was the drinks were expensive and not worth the price. Otherwise we loved the meal and the service.
My coworkers and I met up for Magical Dining Month. We really enjoyed our food. The proportions were very large and we all ended up taking boxes home with us. I ended up filling up on bread, chicken wings, and salad. I was only able to eat a couple bites of my Nashville Hot Chicken and Raspberry Chocolate Cake. My coworkers really liked their food - the jambalaya and pork chops. I highly recommend the mac and cheese and raspberry chocolate cake. The hot chicken was tasty, but it wasn't traditional hot chicken; I'm familiar with hot chicken being cooked in spiced breading (which this was) and then being dunked in hot sauce and served on a piece of white bread to soak up the juices.
The restaurant's decoration looked really nice and it was really spacious. It has a feel of a coffee shop, too, because we were at a large table with outlets at each seat.
I did get a little lost getting to the restaurant from self parking. There was construction, so I walked around to the front lobby and downstairs instead of trying to loop through the convention center.
Great place and wonderful food. The service was awesome, a great place for date night.
All around was a great experience William was our waiter did a outstanding job. Food was great!
Great service and wonderful food. Presentation was great for all the meals ordered. Would recommend to friends and family. Great local restaurant right on the water of Buena Vista. Restaurant is quite new and the decor is fun. I hear they also have a character breakfast on Sunday's; we will be adding to our calendar in the near future!! Great job :)
This restaurant should not be on the Magical Dining roster. I wore jeans and was over dressed. Food was average at best and service was ok.
We chose this as part of magical dining month. Our table was not ready on time despite a reservation. The appetizers were good for all of us. The hot chicken was not hot but was dry. The pork chops were also dry and the vegetable medley uninspiring. Chocolate desert was good but bourbon pecan pie had no bourbon flavor and was cloying sweet. Will not return.
David, our server, provided helpful information regarding the drink and food menus. He and his team made our evening most enjoyable.
Great visit good food and quick service
Went for magical dining and had a great time! Service was exceptional and the food was amazing
This was the most disappointing dining experience of my life. they were clearly short staffed for front of house so understandable, but over 30 minutes before any one even spoke to us. We were given cold rolls to I guess hide the fact we didn't even have drinks. Every meal of 5 adult entrees was returned. Cocktails ordered did not come for another 30 minutes overall for cold food it was a 3 hour dreadful experience.
The staff was trying and nice and friendly it was just a disasters from before we even got seated.
We were going to House of Blues for a concert and Letterpress was taking part in the Magical Dining so we wanted to give it a shot. The offered menu looked pretty good. This is hidden in the Hilton at Lake Buena Vista without any signage or anything outside to direct you to it. While there's hotel parking, expect it to be crowded and the only empty spaces are a hike from the hotel. We wound up using the valet, which was $20. The restaurant should probably think about validating to ease the pain.
We arrived for a 6pm reservation and seated right away. Lots of tables and only a few people there at the time. The restaurant has a clean look, but other than a bookcase and some small decorations it's pretty bland & a little like a cafeteria. Very open & has that converted warehouse feel. Lending to the cafeteria feel is the "kitchen" section right in the middle of the restaurant reserved for what seems like the complimentary breakfast you'd get at a Hampton. Didn't feel upscale at all. Not to mention, a table that didn't get bussed for the entire time we were there in plain view. Odd since there were only about 4 or 5 tables seated.
The service was fine & things came out quickly. The waiter asked if we wanted time between our courses, and was attentive. They don't bring out the bread automatically, so might be something you'd have to ask for. Both of us ordered off the magical dining, but I also ordered a gumbo. The gumbo had fresh okra & decent taste. Not spicy at all. The jambalaya was good with plenty of shrimp, chicken, and sausage. Not spicy. The pork chops were also good and the serving size was plenty. For dessert we had the key lime pie & chocolate raspberry cake. The key lime was very good in flavor; not too tart or too sweet with a vanilla wafer crust similar to a graham cracker style. The cake had a mousse consistency with a thin cake bottom. It was tasty but seemed more pastry-like than cake.
I'd recommend other options unless you're staying at the hotel.
The cold fried chicken looked and tasted like shake and bake. The chicken in the jambalaya was very rubbery. Everything was extremely expensive for what we recieved.
Great Restaurant, the food was great. Would def. go back again.
My husbands jumbalaya was excellent but my salmon was dry. The bread was pretty bad. Caesar salad was excellent. The waiter was super pleasant but seemed inexperienced, which is understandable you have to start somewhere, but at $30/plate I have higher expectations for service. We ate there for convenience of location as we were staying in the hotel.
Our waiter John was exceptional! Can’t say I’ve ever had a better waiter!
The service was terrible and our waiter was quite rude. We should have known because on Mother’s Day Eve there was 1 other table in the entire place. The food was very overpriced and mediocre if that. To be honest Pizza Hut would have been a better choice.
New menu, creative and interesting. Very attentive service.
Awesome service, great all around menu
Apps and entrees cooked to perfection
We were a large party and not one complaint
Nice and east being part of the hotel. Very open space though, which wasn't the best for muting the sound of screaming kids from nearby tables.
Waiter was great. Accommodated my wife's Gluten Free needs without any problems.
