   This quaint farm winery provided excellent service. The white wine was very good and we enjoyed tasting the lemon specialty wine. The Marquette did not seem quite ready. The acoustics in the tasting room were poor and the owners apologized for that. All in all I would patronize L’Etoil du Nord Winery again.

   Lovely little 🍷 winery with beautiful views of the lake. Owners are pleasant and attentive. Wine flights are reasonable. Several wines are worth the full glass (or two!). Current special for 3 bottles, or more. We left with four! We will return.

   We decided to try this winery as it was suggested by OpenTable. The food menu is very limited due to the fact that the winery does not have a kitchen… instead the winery owners have a menu of prepackaged cheeses to choose from that you can enjoy with your wine. They also have pre-packaged meat and cheese tray. We opted for 3 types of cheese to pair with our 3 flights of wine. The setting is on the lake and you can sit outside to taste your wines. We had a wonderful time and even saw an osprey diving for fish. Very idilic. There is a wide variety of wines and they tend to be in the sweeter side. Since we live over 2 hrs away we decided to try about 3/4 of the varieties. We ended up purchasing 6 bottles. We did very much enjoy the semi dry rose! I can’t say enough about the owners. Very welcoming and just a pleasure to have as hosts. Overall I would call this more if an experience versus a restaurant. It is a wonderful experience!

   We enjoyed every one of our 4 wine samples on our fleet. What a peaceful, beautiful setting overlooking the lake. We didn’t have any food, but there seemed to be a nice variety of cheeses and nuts, etc. The free oyster crackers worked great for a palette cleanser. Very friendly hosts! Perfect Friday afternoon stop.

   Everyone in our group enjoyed the wine tasting here! Beautiful view of the lake, lovely informative hosts, nice indoor and outdoor seating-not to mention their wines were delicious! We couldn’t pick just one or two so we took home several😀 as well as some stemless wine glasses.

   This winery is a must see. Small, scenic, and so lovely!! The owners, Polly & Dave work hard and are very friendly. We were there at 2pm on a beautiful Friday and we were the only ones there for the hour we stayed. The lemon wine is a must try, as well as the ciders and their Minnesota Grape wines!! Frontenac Gris was our favorite white. We ended up leaving for 9 bottles of wine and we already drank 2! We will certainly be back.

   Absolutely lovely set up. Can’t wait to go back for the ambiance alone! The tasting room is clean and spacious. Owners are very friendly. The outdoor patio has lots of seating with an outstanding elevated view of Lake Irene. $10 for a wine tasting of 4 selections is an excellent value. My favorite was the Lake Irene Lemon. They offer 3 wine spritzers which are 50% off if you show your Covid vaccine card! We liked the rose spritzer the best! The outdoor space is leashed dog friendly and they gave our dog her own water bowl. There is room for growth in the quality of the wine. But with 12 to choose from, there is bound to be one you like! (We tasted 8/12) Will definitely return, and bring our friends.

   Lovely lakeside spot. The lake "makes" this winery a must-stop! Laidback couple-time destination. Nice wine selection. Limited food options. Very friendly and accommodating female owner/operator. Ordered several bottles shipped home. The name is appropriate - and made me smile.

    We absolutely loved the location, they had tables outside and the lake view was spectacular!! The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable. We got the cheese and crackers and got huge, delicious blocks of cheese - so worth the money. After our wine flights they offered us half price spritzers if we had our vaccination cards - they were delicious! We visited a number of wineries in that area we all decided this was our favorite! Will definitely be going back!

    Very cute place right on the lakeshore. Fantastic service and phenomenal wine! Abundance of snacks available to create your own charcuterie as well! Courteous and welcoming service with a smile. Will be back!

    Such a lovely little find. Quiet, peaceful patio overlooking Lake Irene. Pollyanna couldn't be a more gracious host and the complimentary wine spritzer for Mother's Day was totally unexpected. Wines are unique, the Lemon is our favorite

    I love this little gem of a winery! Unlike a nearby big "destination" winery that imports juice to make its overpriced and not very good wines, L'Etoile du Nord Farm Winery grows and makes its own delicious wine. It actually is a "mom and pop" operation. The setting is lovely.

    An awesome setting and the wines were excellent. Never had mead before and it was very good also. Beautiful grounds and loved the family story of the land. Lemon wine was our favorite but every one we tried was amazing! Will return!!
