Comfort food very good, great service however a little bit too noisy for our taste. Many children and a family atmosphere. Will try again a different time of the day.
Went for lunch. Not bad but not really a memorable experience to make me want to rush back anytime soon.
This restaurant has potential to be great but there's ALWAYS unpleasant delay for our orders ...This time we came in at 13h00 and got our meal at 14h00 ...Inacceptable !
Good, down to earth comfort food
Tres belle addition a l'IDS.
The waiter was very nice but it took over 1 hour to get our appetizers. The table next to us was seated at the same time as us, they ordered, ate, and paid before we got our starters! I guess it's their tactic to make customers order more wine!
Won't go back! Plenty of great restaurents in Montreal with great food and better service!
This is definitely the best restaurant meal you will get on Nuns Island and one of the better places in Montreal in general. MB rating 8.
Excellent Service, tasty food, no negative remark in mind
Was there for a brunch for a second time - enjoyed it as much as the first time - great place.
Will definitely be back.
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE !
The restaurant is new, and has a view on the St-Lawrence river. I've been there twice, the staff is always very nice and accomodating. Went there once with a 4 years old, and they had beverages for them without problem (milk, juice, etc). No kid menu, though, but they're still very accomodating.
Service was a little slow the second evening, but staff was cheerful.
The food was excellent. Not a whole lot of items on the menu, but some very original ones. I recommend the ribs, perhaps the best I've eaten yet in any restaurant in Montreal.
We went to the restau to meet and dine with friends. Food appreciation: The Cesar salad was to vinegary to my taste, the frendh fried were cold which accompanied my very good beef tarta. My friends liked very much their surf and turf. To top it all the wine was very good but a little on the high price..
Third time we visited this restaurant. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance, which is very lively. However we had to wait almost an hour between the entrée and the main dish and the waitress indicated it was a recurring problem. Very unfortunate.
Sad the menu for brunch was extremely limited. No flexibility in cheese on the side or others we asked for.
There should be a quiet area of the restaurant, for those who wish to hear themselves think and make conversation.
Food was excellent, however.
Very very noisy. The volume of the music was turned up from loud background music to impossible to talk music.
Would not go back because it is almost impossible to have a conversation
THe decor and ambiance is nicer than the original one. What we had was good. The waiters are fine, but could be more attentive. Beautiful view if you sit on the terrasse.
Went there for lunch. The food is good (I took the fish & chips) but it's a little bit pricey (which is normal considering that it's on Nun's Island). The view of the St-Lawrence is very nice.
I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend, and she loved the ambiance. The menu was diverse enough, and what we had (the fish and chips, the bavette) was tasty
Great food, ambiance is good, service is efficient
Did not take any wine but the selection is good
Probably the best "pâté chinois" I ever had
Had brunch here for the first time with a group of 6. Well decorated and good atmosphere, except some of our group found the chairs (wood, elementary school type) very uncomfortable. Food was delicious especially the hollandaise sauce and the potatoes. fresh fruit for the table is a nice touch. Will definitely be back.
Out of Gazpacho, always basics missing when we visit
Entrée salade César: Très goûteuse, jolie présentation, délai de service très raisonnable;
Although setting is great, with lots of outdoor seating by the water and and a great atmosphere, the food was not as good as the original Bernard St location, and the service was slow and borderline rude. We waited almost 45 minutes to order, were told no specials remained, and were treated cavalierly with no attention to detail whatsoever. Will not be returning on a Saturday night.
Excellent food, quick service and warm server. I recommend this place for anybody who enjoy quality food.
Relax during lunch with a nice view
Wonderful restaurant with a fabulous terrace by the river. Easy to park, delicious food, great ambiance and attentive service. A fun time was had by all!
I'm a big fan of Enfant Terrible, their new restaurant in Nuns Island is fantastic, I consider myself a regular and would recommend this restaurant to my friends however on this last trip i was a little disappointed. We arrived to what was probably the last shift of the evening, the service was very slow even if there wasnt much people left. We also ordered some drinks that happened to be served very differently last week, a melon sangria to be specific. Ordered last week, it came prepared with fresh melon added to the drink, this time it only had a small cube and the melon taste was barely there. Maybe budget forced them to cut corners but it was a little disappointing this time. Would still recommend, hopefully it was just a bad night.
Food was above average - great entrees - fresh and tasty, fantastic lamb burgers, salmon tartar and amazing desserts. A beautiful outdoor patio with view of the river. The bar scene seemed to be pretty hopping too. Reasonably priced. Only complaint...service. Although the waitstaff was knowledgeable and friendly, it took a while to be served - we waited almost half an hour just to get drinks and a menu, but it picked up after that.
I'm sure they are still working out the kinks of a new business, and it did seem exceptionally busy. Was impressed to see the owner Francine greet the patrons, help set tables and make the rounds...will definitely go back.
Les Enfants Terribles is a great restaurant with an awesome location. The food was great but sometimes it's not clear who exactly who is serving you as the person taking the order and the people serving the food are different. They will get this sorted out I'm sure, because the owners seem very involved and motivated. So I will go back but I hope they will make these small adjustments.
Beautiful setting and restaurant decor. Very hot and humid day all the cold dishes that were served arrived warm. When asked why the A/C was not working given excuses that it was turned on and then, it was not functioning. Arrived at 7:00 and they were already out of their signiature Ceaser salad, as well as a few other dishes. It is the fifth time we eat at this location. Every time the food has been a disppointment compared to its sister restaurant on Bernard street. Restaurant opened recently, hopefully with time and a close watch from the owners it will be at par with its other location.
