The original Leo’s remained open until 1976 when the family decided to close after Leo passes away, and in the year 2000 Leo’s grandson, Paul Mancieri, relocated to 365 Hope Street in the heart of historic downtown Bristol. Paul and his wife Adriana pride themselves on bringing back the spirit and the recipes of the pizzeria ran by Leo and Nonni. Welcome to Leo’s Ristorante! Enjoy our family recipes, preserved for three generations and plated with care and love by Paul, Adriana and their staff.

Great food and service!
Dinner was terrific and Samantha was a delight. Will definitely come back.
Very nice ambiance, good portions of delicious food, waitress was very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant not only for its charm but for the quality of food and service. It's to bad I can only give it five stars.
We loved Leo's. Really good food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is adorable and the service was terrific. We will definitely be going back!
We have been several times food is consistently good. Staff seems to change alot. I think if owner did some upgrades and added a great bar with actual bartender that is would enhance the ambience. Sitting hear the large windows is wonderful but can get very cold. Specials would be a nice added touch too.
Over all consistently good food
Love Leo’s inside and outside dining weather permitting, good food, great service !
Our meals were hot, and exactly as we expected, based on the menu description.
Maddi (our server) was polite, attentive, and checked on us often.
Meal items were fairly priced. Interior was retro or vintage, charming and friendly.
Great coffee too!
Food very good, service very good - our waiter was very nice- said he was Irish. Prices were great. Had left overs for next day. Definitely will do dinner there again. 😊
It was great! Food was delicious!!
They are clearly down servers / chefs as are most restaurants - and yet the place was at max capacity. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to come to the table to get our drink orders. Food also took over an hour to come out. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. I simply wish they recognized their capabilities and sat fewer customers.
Overall great food and service. We ordered a pizza and a veal parm dinner and they charged us $5 for "separate" plating of the parm. We would have just done this ourselves had we known there was a charge. We also bought a $32 bottle of wine so it's not like we were splitting a meal. We just wanted to share both out entrees. So weird and annoying especially when we already had extra plates at our table. Staff was very friendly. Food was very flavorful and served hot.
Always great !!! Love the service love the food !!!
The Food, Service and Atmosphere were perfect, as usual. AAA+++ and highly recommended!!!
Delicious food and excellent service!
Very friendly staff. The food is average Italian. Nothing is bad but nothing is great either. Had the stuffies which smelled "fishy" but just needed a little something to spice it up a little. The Braciole was a bit tough and too salty from the other meats they put inside. Veal Parm was tender and their sauce is very good.
First visit since pandemic. Quality has not changed. Food and service are among the best in the area
Service and food was excellent .shrimp scampi could use a little more garlic but it was excellent
Very enjoyable. Samantha was a delight. Very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Ambience was good. We will be back soon.
We had a great dinner last night at Leo's - polenta/sausage/rabe, Mediterrean salad and Shrimp Scampi pizza..delicious!! The service was excellent too! Excellent menu choices and ambiance...
Despite a 'glitch' whereby our confirmed reservation was inexplicably deleted from the list the on-duty manager deftly resolved the error and we dined al fresco. He did double duty as our waiter and was extremely cordial and sincere which more than made up for the reservation snafu. This was our first time at Leo's but won't be our last, assuming they don't lose our confirmed reservation again! The calamari was tasty as were all entrees, my braciole was perfection on a plate. FYI: Be forewarned that having just one restroom necessitates patience and a strong bladder!
Great food, great staff! Staff was a little overwhelmed due to an unexpected staff shortage and a large party, but handled it like pros!!
Subpar food and very limited wine list
Delicious dinner close to RWU where our daughter attends college. Reasonable prices and very nice server. Wish my martini was filled to the top of the glass but I’m being picky. Sat outside and really enjoyed our family dinner. Would return again.
Food was good, but service was poor and Manager was awful. Who charges $3 for a drop of wine sample to decide which bottle you want to buy? If your going to charge, it should be a decent size sample. But $3 really? Plus the server should absolutely warn someone. Manager said COVID was hard on them and they were losing money from wime samples. Are you kidding me? You are struggling because of crappy customer treatment! We went to dinner to sample the food prior to placing a large catering order for a party. We liked the food and I had picked out our food, but after the crappy treatment by the Manager I do not trust them and I will never use them and will probably never eat there again. Too much great food with great service all over Bristol!! Leo's may need to reevaluate why they are losing money.
Meal was average; nothing special. Same breaded veal cutlet was used for several dishes, adding different sauces to it.
Waitress charged me 1.50 for 1/4 cup of extra tomato sauce when the pasta did not have enough! No other restaurant ever did that, just gave sauce.
Wine sauce was lacking flavor. This restaurant was recommended to us. Obviously, the person did not know good Italian food.
Absolutely amazing authentic Italian. Highly recommend the chicken Marsala! Mauricio was phenomenal!
Excellent time at Leo's Restaurant. Food was very good and so was the service. Our party of three left happy.
Delicious meal as usual! Service was great as well.
Thank you very much for your nice review!
I was impressed with the variety of menu selections, but disappointed with their preparation. Al dente means that the pasta is firm but still cooked. Undercooked linguini is not al dente!
Thank you very much for your review and your comments, Sandy.
Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delish and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
Thank you very much for your nice review!
Waitress was outstanding the food was unbelievable especially the pasta and beans great value very clean
Thank you very much for your nice review!
Terrible food. Disappointing.
To celebrate my sister and brother-in-law’s anniversary, we chose to celebrate at Leo’s knowing we would be served a delicious meal. From the calamari, chicken soup and the chicken and veal parmigiana, we definitely made the right choice. Great service, devious food at great prices, Leo’s is the restaurant to go to.
Excellent all around !!!
Rhode Island residents 80+ years we ordered seafood stuffies tasted like bad fish. We were told it was the clam trust us we know clams unfortunately we didn’t eat them and still charged. Food very salty. I ordered angel hair pasta and received penne no big deal.
Overall over seasoned food, salt, garlic. Not a fan. We have lived near by for 15 years always wanted to try and will not be back.
Nice location, service was good and the foot matched it. We would certainly go again.
The food was disappointing overall. None of the entrees met expectations. The wine and cocktails were second rate. On the other hand, the outdoor seating was pleasant. Lots is traffic noise.
The food was excellent. We both had luncheon salads. We enjoyed the Spinoni for dessert-it was outstanding. Our server was very attentive.
Leo’s continues to impress. Great food and great service. Samantha is a sweet server who always ensures your experience at Leo’s is top notch!
Food was excellent, server Tina was very attentive. Love the atmosphere, older building, tin ceilings, big windows. Appears to be a local gem.
