   My husband and I were visiting my daughter for the weekend at college and she really wanted good Italian food. I looked on Open Table, read the reviews, and looked at the menu, deciding to give Leo's a try. My family was pleasantly surprised. From the outside of the restaurant, you might get a bit worried seeing it next to a Pizzeria with the same name, but once you go inside, the restaurant is quite nice. Once seated, we were greeted by the restaurant host/owner (not sure) with a cart full of a variety of cheeses, meats and salad - of which he offered to make us a plate as appetizer. The plate was delicious and I was glad we did not get any other apps. Warm garlic bread was also brought to the table, which was also very good. This was followed by a salad and a large portion main course, including pasta. The main courses were delicious and we all shared. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was exceptional. Not being from the area, or knowing anyone for recommendations, we really took a chance, but were so happy. My family continued to talk about the restaurant throughout the weekend and can't wait to go back at our next visit! Definitely a hidden gem.

   The Francese dishes (shrimp & chicken) were superb! Chicken Marsala was delicious. House salad dressing was very good! Chicken noodle soup was very tasty!

   We have been going here for years and happy they are on open table so we can review. They have a very casual pizza side and more formal dining in separate other half. Nice bar. Love that specials of the day are always posted on website which is updated regularly. You can get both comfort foods like eggplant parmesan or can choose some of their mote fine dining options. Great place to go before heading across the street for event like baseball at Dutchess Stadium.

   The Pasta Fagioli was delicious. They served a big bowl and could not finish the gnocchi w portabella and chicken which was equally good. The toasted Italian bread had a slight grilled character- wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
