    My husband and I came here, for the first time, for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were impressed with the atmosphere and gorgeous ambiance that Leo’s provided. Our waiter, Noah, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. He helped make our meal choices a lot easier (everything on the menu looked amazing and we had a difficult time deciding). We are looking forward to the next time we get to dine at Leo’s. Thank you for making our anniversary very special!

    Brooke was our server and she knew every detail of the menu. It was our first time here and her suggestions were great. The brussel sprouts were our favorite and the seafood pan roast was delicious. Would definitely return and try other items on the menu.

    Our reservation for for 5:00 on a Saturday. The restaurant was not busy at all. Our server was very slow compared to the other servers around us. Slow to greet us, slow to take our drink order, slow bringing our drinks, she did not take our food order until 40 minutes after we had sat down. So that was a little frustrating as we were pretty hungry. That is why I am giving 4 stars. The food was wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful. The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful. We would definitely return.

    Venture Capital vibes: Gone corporate, and perhaps irredeemable: Entrée prices have spiked. Another almost complete staff turnover. Hosting greetings and responses are lackluster. Accommodation of personal wishes, like a change of table, almost nonexistent. Table service is good but all speeches are canned. Actual silver silverware is gone, in favor of pedestrian Walco cutlery. Drinks are still some of the best in town. But the food recipes and the presentation have changed. I can’t shake the feeling that Big Brother is watching.

    They changed the happy hour menu and diminished it significantly. Ended up ordering off the regular menu and paying full price. The food is delicious and service is great but very disappointed that they change something that had been a standard for so many years.

    Leo's Chef does an amazing job with creativity. The SeaBass melts in your mouth & the vegetable cake was delicious. My husband steak was perfect. We almost licked the plate! Thank you for the birthday brownie sundae!

    We were working out of town & wanted some good seafood so I figured we would give Leo's a try. We were seated right away & greeted by our server. We ordered our beverage's. When they arrived we ordered our appetizers. Took about 20 minutes to get them. I had the crab cake & seafood cake combo & it was pretty good. Chris had the calamari & said it we also decent.our entree's were okay. I had the Halibut. The fish was good & seamed fresh but I didn't care for the chili sauce. Others might, but it wasn't to my liking. I don't remember what Chris had for his main course cut he also said the fish was good but the sides were overdone in his opinion. The Carmel apple cheese cake for desert & it was OUTSTANDING. I should have gotten the steak .

    The food and service were amazing as usual. There were a couple of tables that had a few individuals that were pretty loud and semi-annoying, but that also helps keep the mood at a little less casual feeling, while still enjoying a fine dining experience.

    Food was great. The lobster bisque was excellent with huge chunks of lobster. Bar service was good, but our food service was not great. Waited 10 minutes after seating for a server to address the table. Overall good experience, just wish service was more indicative of level of finer dining. I will say the server was very friendly and engaging, but it just took some time to get attention.

    We enjoyed an incredible anniversary meal at Leo’s! We were surprised by a sweet “Happy Anniversary” note on the table. The calamari appetizer was cooked to perfection and the sauce that accompanies it was delicious! The surf and turf-such a great quality piece of meat for the turf and the lobster was sweet and perfectly tender! The shrimp and crab risotto was a garlic-y chef’s kiss! Yummy perfection! The cocktails were amazing as well-we had the Rye Old Fashioned and the Peach Sangria. The quiet and posh ambience were so welcomed to be able to have a great conversation. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. 5 stars all around!

    Everything was as expected, our server Robert was amazing and made our evening special! It was noted in our dinner reservation for 4 that we were celebrating a birthday, yet we were seated a little to close to the hostess stand for our liking… not one to make a scene, we made the very best of it. We’ll be back for sure, doubt we’ll get the same table again.

    All the staff were very nice…I had noted that it was our anniversary and they acknowledged that and gave us a complimentary dessert and well wishes all around. We ordered shrimp cocktail…pricy at $5 per shrimp, but the shrimp were cooked perfectly and by far the best part of our meal…I had the gazpacho and it was good…not outstanding…but enjoyable. My husband had walleye and I ordered halibut that was prepared “Oscar”’style with crabmeat and bernaise. Both entrees were bland and basically tasteless. Husband’s assessment was that Cracker Barrel could have done a better job! Needless to say, we we’re both very disappointed in this choice for our first meal in Grand Rapids and from a restaurant with top ratings from Open Table.

    This was our first time dining at Leo’s and it exceeded our expectations. Everyone in our party of four ordered different menu items and everyone raved about their selection. For a restaurant specializing in seafood, their costs were not unreasonable and the service was exceptional. Water glasses were constantly filled, cocktails were outstanding and empty dinnerware were.expediently removed without making us feel watched or rushed. Considering the packed house, others must agree with us that this is an exceptional restaurant.
