   6:30pm reservation for 4. Seated at a large table for 6 in the back room which was a makeshift expansion area. Could not hear or talk due to a large and very noisy party of 20 seated right next to us. Took one half hour to order and another hour to get our food. Food was only warm when it arrived and not hot. Only bright spot in the entire evening was our server Emerson. Though he was stretched quite thin with other tables, he made every effort to attend to us, and he did so with good cheer and a smile on his face. Had it not been for him, we would have walked out. He is an asset to Leonardo’s. Left him a nice tip despite our poor overall experience. As a restaurant industry executive, I can say that I have never been treated so poorly nor had such a disappointing experience. We travel from San Diego to visit the Solvang area but we will never return to Leonardo’s. They were very over-extended, and their customers and guests paid the price. Should not have happened.

   We came for pizza and it did not disappoint! The thin crust was full of flavor, and the toppings were delicious!
