A Memorable Family Celebration at a Solvang Gem - We have dined at Leonardo’s many times over the years, but this visit was particularly special as we returned with our children and grandchildren. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Our server, Arturo, went above and beyond to make the evening feel like a true event—attentive, warm, and welcoming to each guest at the table. The food was terrific as always, and the atmosphere continues to strike the perfect balance between casual elegance and family-friendly comfort. Leonardo’s remains a gem in Solvang—top-notch staff, outstanding cuisine, and a setting that makes any occasion feel special.

This is about the fourth time I’ve come to this restaurant - usually every time I’m in town. While the food is consistently great and they give generous portions, this was a disappointing visit for me. First, I asked for a Caesar salad (very good) for the table to be shared. What they brought and what I was billed for was three half salads (not good). The price difference is notable. And, before all of us could even finish the salad, they were pulling it from under our noses because the entrees had arrived. Kudos for not waiting for the food, but I literally still had my fork on my mouth when they whisked the salad plate away. My mom had not finished hers. No one asked if we were done or could remove the plates. Uncool. The servers also talk nonstop across the room (or at the kitchen) to each other very loudly and it drowns out your conversation. Sadly, I’m not sure I’ll go back due to this experience.

4th time at Leonardo’s; because it is a great place to enjoy a quiet, up-scale Italian meal coupled with quality service. We celebrated our 43rd Anniversary in Solvang and topped if a fun-filled late afternoon of wine tasting with a memorable dinner. We will return❤️❤️

Carlos our server was wonderful, great recommendations, we loved all the suggestions and left happily with full bellies and leftovers. Had the burrata appetizer special, eggplant, pizza and chocolate dessert. Martinis and wine were also great.
