    Overall good experience. Good friend and I met up for a cocktail and apps after work, we only ordered a few small plates and a cocktail each, but it didn’t seem as though we had a server. We had about 5 different people check in on us multiple times. We had at least 3 people ask about our drinks and 5 ask about our food. Although it was sweet, it was overkill. Better off having just one server stick to the table as it can get confusing.

    Great spot for 4 friends to catch up. Central downtown location and beautiful Art Deco design gives this a New York feeling. We had a great time.

    It was a great evening spent at Lena: the staff is attentive, delicious dishes and ambiance is great. Decor is very nice and noise level was appropriate for carrying a conversation without raising voice. The only minor nuance was a wobbly table, but overall the experience was nice

    The first impression was very upsetting. Inspite of having a reservation we were made to wait without being even acknowledged of our presence. Members of the team perhaps may have been busy irrespective felt like leaving. Once we were seated then the rest was okay. As they say first impression is the best impression but Lens Restaurant failed us. Sorry to note this.

    First things first: the service. Our waitress Elizabeth was utterly awesome. EXTREMELY dedicated and professional. Made us feel like we were the only diners in the restaurant. Thank you for everything Elizabeth! The decor and ambience were also really nice. My partner - who is Argentinian - was saying that the upstairs seating area reminded her of the family house back in Cordoba! :) Well done here as well! Lastly, the food and drinks...I really wish I could be as dithyrambic as for the rest but alas, it was a bit of hit and miss: - cocktails were delicious (Empress for my Beloved and El Diablo for me) - wine was on par - the Gaucho empanadas, shishito peppers and pan de miga were scrumptiuous - the Branzino tartare was delicious The rest was sub-par... - the spicy papa bravas were extremely dry and lacking crunch - the charred shrimps were pretty meh and tasteless. If recall correctly, there were 5 or 6 of them. 28$ is a bit much for such a plate - the escarole and endive salad was very plain. All in all, a more than decent experience thanks to the amazing service, delicious cocktails and some very good food. Will definitely give it another try down the line. PS: no matter how much she earns, give Elizabeth a raise! :)

    Food was excellent. Beef was cooked to perfection, and the cheesecake was superb. Great service, with good wine recommendations. Noise in main restaurant is a bit much, but the upstairs dining room was great. Will return.

    Decore and ambiance was excellent. The food was only ok, especially considering the price. We paid over $200 for our meal (no wine) and the food was second rate. We had the steak, which was well prepared but somewhat tasteless, and two fish dishes. Both fish courses were unwhelming in taste and texture. I think it was the quality of the fish - being from the East Coast, I should know better than to order fish in a Toronto restaurant. Either way, the food wasn't worth the price for sure.

    My coworker and I went to Lena for the first time for an after-work dinner/late birthday celebration for her. The atmosphere, service and food were excellent. However, while bringing her spaghetti meal over to her, the busboy accidentally splattered spaghetti sauce on her white blouse. He was incredibly apologetic and even gave her a Tide pen he had on hand and told her to keep it but we were disappointed that the restaurant didn't comp even part of our bill (even a single drink would have been appreciated) taking into account the incident. Overall, a great experience that could have been even better if this one incident had been more thoughtfully addressed.

    Haven't been here in a while - food is usually exquisite but today was a bit disappointing. Appetizers and desserts were excellent, but all our main courses were a let-down (3 steaks all chewy and weird cut of beef - were pretty inedible); chicken was dry.

    Ordered the burger. It came very underdone. Medium is acceptable but this one was medium rare. If I had known they cook it like that I would have ordered it cooked to medium. They were kind enough to offer me something else but In the end the comped the half eaten burger. The calde verde soup was excellent. Creamy and spiced perfectly. The shrimp rice was good, not great. Shrimp were tasty but the rice floated in a broth… it was too soupy. The atmosphere was great and the decor is charming. Service was excellent. Parking was a nightmare but given where it is it wasn’t surprising.

    We had an excellent evening at Lena, everything from the food, the ambience and the quality of service was excellent. Our server Kevin was very knowledgeable and helped us with our food and drink selections on the menu. The courses were timed perfectly at perfect temperatures. I ordered the Branzino tartare and Potatoes for the table and the Octopus for my main. Every time I bring friends to this restaurant, we leave impressed with the food and kind staff. It makes a huge difference when people serving are kind, considerate and thoughtful. Thank you Lena, I will be back hopefully soon! Our group loved and appreciated the restaurant!

    We are from BC and in Toronto for one night and we were delighted with our meal at Leña. The surprise was the BC clams were better than anything we’ve had in BC. The branzino tartar was outstanding.
