Leña’s is guided by the most magical and mysterious ingredient in the kitchen, fire. At Leña, our menu brings together the best elements of Spain’s favorite grill-focused restaurants, including the asadores and steakhouses of the Basque Country and Asturias. Nearly everything on the menu is cooked over embers, including vegetables, meats, and seafoods, with a focus on larger grilled cuts of meat, like the Txuleton. Come join us to experience the flavors of the fire!

Went with two colleagues, one visiting from out of town and who requested we find a place to eat near Hudson Yards. We did not enjoy this restaurant and will not return.

I would describe the food, service, and ambiance as "professionally executed". Food was presented well and cooked competently but completely forgettable and without a trace of soul. Service was well-trained regarding timing and running a playbook, but we found our servers to be indifferent and bordering on rude at times. Sound level made it hard to hear one another and for the waitstaff to hear us. Pricing was aggressive, with a particularly memorable example being the $29 cheeseburger which came all by its lonesome on a small plate, and which wasn't very good, and which is not recommended.

I was frankly embarrassed to have dragged my colleagues here. If you're going to visit this spot, my recommendation is to wander around the adjacent market hall to find a stall that looks busy and then get food from there.

If you want to eat authentic Spanish food nearly better than in Spain itself, visit Mercado Little Spain, it's well worth it.

The branzino was quite good, but the portion was a bit small. The artichoke appetizer also was very tasty. The roasted peppers were a terrible disappointment. I've had the real thing in Spain and these tasted like something out of a jar, and not a particularly upscale jar. The roasted avocados were so-so - nothing I would order again. The "glass" bread, supposed flown in daily from Spain, tasted like stale bread with a thin smear of tomato paste - not a fresh tomato taste, and no spices to help it. My friend wasn't motivated to finish her skewered chicken. All in all, a disappointment.

Amazing Spanish food, small menu, but enough for a great experience.

Positively everything was outstanding. Piquillos, steak tartare, ribs, gazpacho, and morcilla were particular highlights!

Great food. The steak was especially delicious and the tomatoes are just, incredible. The host is always very nice, and so was the server. The chef came out of the kitchen to greet us too. Definitely going back
